Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

260 Suspect/s (Part-1)

“I have nothing to give you but thanks for saving me from those bastards and kicking their ass. But if you want, I don’t mind using my body to repay you when we get out of here and reach a safe place.”

The Formless Siren’s voice came from behind Roy.

Not just once but twice, he had saved her from the Red Mist Walkers. She would have become dead meat, getting swallowed by heinous creatures, if not for him.

That’s why she wanted to use her body to repay him.

Sadly, they were running against time.

Thus, she could only thank him for now.

Hearing her words, Roy felt heat going to his nether region.

The boner that had disappeared because of Voss’s roar made its appearance because of her words—a tent formed in his pants.

“I really want to use actions to tell her that such words shouldn’t be said casually to me.” He gritted his teeth, wanting to do what she wanted but being unable to as the situation demanded that.

Roy turned to her, the hardened expression on his face and the murderous glint in his eyes disappearing, getting replaced by a gentle smile.

Clearly, he didn’t want to expose his wife to his ruthless side.

“Don’t mention it,” Roy looked at the miserable her amiably. She had just puked out half a liter of her gut juice, but that failed to disgust him. He felt like he wouldn’t be able to kiss her, but that didn’t stop him from liking her. “You are my wife. Protecting you is my duty. Not to mention, you would have overwhelmed them if I hadn’t taken your opportunity.”

Yulran’s blessing was meant for her, but because he vowed to protect her, it was given to him. If not, she would have become strong enough to overthrow Red Mist Walkers herself. Anyway, he was a man of his word and wanted to be seriously entangled with her, and that’s why he was keeping his side of the deal and fulfilling his fate.

He would be there for her, no matter how many times. The premise being she doesn’t betray or let him down first. Even then, he might not leave her, but he will punish her severely. A crazed look appeared in his eyes and disappeared just as quickly, going unnoticed by all, even himself.

Under his gaze, she felt embarrassed and blushed.

‘I just puked like a frog! I probably look messy and shitty like hell. But he is still looking at me with such gentle eyes. He loves me so much. It makes my heart melt.’

His words and the way he was looking at her made a smile blossom on her face.

The Female Siren placed her hands on her chest. Her heart was thumping loudly, her face turning red rapidly. She could even hear the beats it was producing and feel her ears heating up.

“She is too damn beautiful.” Roy praised her in his mind.

At his moment, she looked ten times more gorgeous.

The sight of her dazzled Roy, but he was in an unfamiliar environment and a battle-hardened magic knight, so he snapped out of it instantly.

“Hehe.”

The Female Siren giggled happily, seeing him stunned by her beauty,

“You feel alright, right?”

He was worried that that must have scared the shit out of her. The Red Mist Walkers weren’t exactly the best-looking guys out there, you see. They were the shittiest shit Roy has seen so far in Far West. The Female Siren’s little heart probably can’t handle the sight of them.

‘Gosh, it feels good to be treasured!” The Female Siren, who had her head lowered, smiled, seeing his shoes just next to hers and feeling him caressing her gently. ‘The fairy tale I have been hearing since birth was true indeed! My Fated likes me even when I am at my worst. He definitely fell in love with me at first sight and is going to take care of me like a lover. I should cherish him, so he doesn’t feel like the only one investing in this relationship.’

“Yes, I am fine.”

She thanked him again and grabbed his hand.

Hand in hand, they jogged towards Tevenlor, who was about 100 meters away.

She soon noticed that his gaze no longer lingered on her.

He was looking at Tevenlor in skepticism.

‘Can he be trusted? He said this place isn’t dangerous. But she almost got assassinated. If I wasn’t on alert since the moment I entered here, she would have died!’

Roy felt that if this was Among Us, Tevenlor was definitely getting voted out of the spaceship.

Suspecting him was not all he did.

He set all the paintings he could find on his way to Tevenlor on fire.

They quickly turned to ashes, which were scattered on the ground.

All possible future trouble was annihilated.

But it didn’t set Roy’s heart at rest.

The last words of the Red Mist Walker he killed with his spells still haunted him, making it impossible for him to feel at ease. His guard was still raised, and he told the Formless Siren to do the same and forced her to promise him that she would break the pendant if she were attacked again.

Trouble was coming their way. His sixth sense was telling him that. He couldn’t fight while protecting her. She reluctantly agreed. The last fight drilled some senses into her, making her realize that she was useless even though her basic stats were well above aura masters.

“What did you say about this shortcut being safe?”

Tevenlor was staring at the stiff corpse pinned to the wall by his sword and trying to determine its origins when he was questioned by his new master.

Tevenlor turned to him. “So you are doubting me now.”

“Yes, I am,” Roy gave him a head nod, admitting that coldly.

Tevenlor sighed, “Sorry, I didn’t know that this Holy Hallway would be infected with anomalies and evil spirits in less than a decade. Not just me but also my creator couldn’t have suspected that.”
