Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

309 Memoir of the past: The Battle that Took Place 16 Years Ago

Previous chapters’ titles has been changed to make them more accurate. Do reas them if you like.

The undying and the rebels used a killing formation to suppress Arnard and Vivia.

They were Damien’s parents and the strongest people in the manor.

Their knights were assassinated. Then, they were sneak-attacked. But they were able to hold their own against the enemies.

While fending them off, they could sense what Damien was going through and wanted to be there for him, but their hands were full dealing with the bastards from the Den of Evil and the Fallen Kingdoms.

Swords were coming for their vital parts, head, throat, the spot between the eyebrows, and so on, while curses weighed heavily on them. These curses stacked on their bodies, not only weakening them and their abilities but also slowing them down and lowering their defenses.

“Go!” Arnard pushed Vivia out of her harm’s way. A sword stabbed him, going into his guts. He took one for her willingly, and he was willing to do it any time of the day. “Don’t hesitate. Don’t look back. Just do it!”

Vivia was pushed close to the window. Arnard hurled a flare towards her with all his strength. It smashed apart a group of undead raised by the undying and also shattered the hand of an undying that tried to grab it before it reached her.

“You better be fine, or I will kill you myself!”

Once it fell in her hand, Vivia jumped out of the window after roaring out a silly threat.

‘If I died, how would she kill me? Ah! Sometimes she is too silly. But that’s what I like the most about her.’

Arnard would have teased her if they were in a better situation. But at this moment, he could only keep his mouth shut and destroy the bastard that chased after her.

With a single punch, he sent two undying to the nether realm. They were the ones who jumped out of the window to catch her.

“Come at me, you bastards!”

All the undying and the rebels in the manor were challenged by Arnard.

His miniature world opened up like the palm of Buddha, which trapped Sun Wukong.

“I have read about this before. It’s like Buddha’s palm. Since we are already trapped inside it, escape is impossible. Either we exhaust him to the point where he can no longer keep it manifested, or we die doing it.”

“If I weren’t planning to do that, I wouldn’t be here.”

“Me neither.”

They all ganged up to defeat one man.

“Keep him busy until the target is gotten rid of. That’s our job. If we die completing it, we will find ourselves in the embrace of our Lord and Saviour, Chaos!”

“Everyone, kill him!”

350. That’s the number of people who simultaneously attacked him.

180. That’s the number of curses that have stacked on him.

Half of them had the same purpose.

They decreased his power.

The rest weakened his ability and slowed him down.

He was ten times slower compared to his peak self.

If they hadn’t slowed him down, they wouldn’t be confident about landing an attack on him.

“Your intel is wrong.”

These words were uttered by Arnard as they closed in on him and their curses weakened him. When these words fell on their ears, they realized they had fucked up. Big time!

“My miniature world isn’t only like Buddha’s palm.” Arnard’s fist shot out. They were lightning fast and seemed to rip apart the fabric of reality and bend space and time itself. They were many feet away from him. Some were an entire level below him. But his fists found out. Even the ones on the roof weren’t spared. “It is also like the reaper’s scythe. Once it falls down on you, you are bound to die.”

Every single punch of Arnard contained the power of his miniature world and was imbued with all the types of forces he had learned, including his Killing Force. When it landed on them, their bodies shattered into countless fragments. Under the pressure of his miniature world, these shards of their bodies turned into piles of white and black powder before they could recover.

“It traps and kills. It’s perfectly balanced, representing the mortals trapped in the red dust of the mundane world, the decay that they experience with time, and the reaper that starts haunting them when they are still developing their consciousness in the womb.”

He looked at the piles of ashes on the floor with cold eyes. That’s all that was left of the 350 strong men that attacked him. Calling them monsters was more appropriate as they had discarded their humanity.

A cold wind bellowed.

The ashes were carried away by the wind and scattered all over the garden.

When this event took place, Arnard was in his prime. He wasn’t bald at this time. He had hair on his head. It was comparable to a lion’s mane.

Furthermore, he hadn’t undergone the experiment that caused him to lose his hair but also integrated his miniature world with his body, elevating him to a new power level.

Currently, his miniature world was similar to the miniature world of the Lord of the West and the Realm Lords of the Far West Major Realm. He had to manifest it to utilize its special powers, and it could be drawn over the fabric of reality, replacing a kilometer square of the area owned by the realm with itself.

A miniature world represents its user. Its special effects and how it looks are closely tied to a person’s class, mentality, and experiences.

Arnard had a special class. It was at its weakest form when he awakened it. Everyone thought that he had no future. But the Demonic Soul, the one who betrayed Badulf, thought otherwise. The name of Arnard’s class was the “Presidor.” This word wasn’t a part of any known dictionary, and this class wasn’t mentioned in history, and the power it initially granted Arnard was too pitiful to be called supernatural. That’s why everyone took him for a failure, a waste of space.

The Demonic Soul, however, knew that it was the initial form of an ultra-rare class. He guided Arnard to the right path, telling him that it could be upgraded into the Ultra-rare Class called “The One Who Presides Over Life & Death” and also told him the way to upgrade it.

It was quite simple.

He needed to live a rich life, understand the world, realize why war is caused, and why some people find joy in the simplest of things while others can never find true happiness even when they have everything and stay depressed throughout the course of their life and jot down his understanding.

After more than two and a half decades of observing others and growing by fighting and killing his enemies and getting betrayed by his teacher, aka the demonic soul, Arnard ascended to the ranks of Realm Lords. His class still hadn’t advanced to the ultra-rare rank. But it had reached legendary status.

It’s known as “The Man With One Step Outside The Mundane World.”

After jumping out of the window, Vivia charged the runic item, flair, with her mana and hurled it to the sky. It brightened up and produced a thundering noise upon bursting into massive fireworks. Unless one lacked an eye, it was impossible to miss this distress signal.

Badulf’s problem was solved by Vizards. He was no longer possessed by the demonic soul. The brothers and the Glorious Sun Emperor shared a complex history with the demonic soul. But it’s a story for another time. Badulf owed them a debt of gratitude, and he was a man of his word. Although his personality had taken a turn for the worst after he got betrayed by his teacher, the demonic soul, Vivia believed that he would come to help them any moment now.

“Hopefully, this signal will be seen, and reinforcement will arrive on time.”

Their homes might be far apart, but considering how strong they were, it was only a matter of seconds before to reach the other house.

However, even after ten seconds passed, no help arrived.

Not even a shadow of a person could be seen in the street outside.

As a matter of fact, no shadow could be seen.

Vivia couldn’t see her shadow either.

“Something’s wrong.”

That’s when she realized that something odd was going on, but she couldn’t pinpoint it.

She wasn’t much of a fighter.

Fighting was her husband’s job.

So she was perplexed by what was going on.

“Heh, heh, heh!”

Creepy laughter was heard from behind her.

She turned around and saw a big-breasted woman sitting on the roof.

“You’re in my Chaotic realm.” Peanut. That’s the name of the woman mockingly staring at Vivia. She was the high priestess of Chaos. Her morals and shame have died long ago. Not a single piece of clothing covered her body. She was in her birthday suit, completely naked and sitting like a man, her legs spread open wide, exposing her forbidden cherry.

‘How shameless!’

Vivia found her too indecent and glared at her. Nudists were still unknown in this world, and no sane person would walk across their neighborhood stark naked. So someone like her challenged her common world views.

Peanut just chuckled, not at all feeling offended by the way Vivia was looking at her.

“It’s like an invisible and untouchable barrier that separates the selected area from reality for a certain amount of time. The ones outside of it can’t see you or enter this place, and the same goes for the ones inside. They can’t see what’s happening outside the barrier or step out of it. And it will stay up for an hour.”

“Not unless I get rid of you.”

“You think you can?”

“You might be a priestess of Chaos, but your power level is equal to a grandmaster. How hard will it be to defeat you? I don’t know how you managed to manifest it. But that doesn’t change a thing. A grandmaster isn’t equal to a deity. You are going down today.”

Vivia flashed up to her, but her punch was easily captured by the high priestess.

“You have an eye for detail. True, this isn’t mine. But a power bestowed to me by our Lord and Savior, Chaos. It will return to him when I die. But it’s more than enough to deal with the likes of you.”

She lowered her hand before pulling her closer to herself. Her nose drew closer to Vivia’s neck. Then Vivia was sniffed by a person acting like a dog.

“Do you know what my greatest secret is? I am an old man who possessed the body of a young girl after ***ing her since I am quite obsessed with looking youthful. How about I do the same to you as I did to my last victim?”

“Disgusting.” Vivia spat on his face and kicked him in the guts with all her force. She raised her hands to block it.

Crack!

Her hand cracked. Her hand bent out of shape, and she was forced to let go of her hand because of getting kicked in the face. Vivia didn’t have one but two legs. The second the high priestess raised her hands to block her first kick, she withdrew it and whipped her other legs towards her face.

It all happened in an instant.

She didn’t see it coming and was thus kicked in the head and forced to step back.

After stepping back, Peanut stabilized herself and licked the wet spot on her mouth.

“Tasty!” She said after consuming her spit. “You would definitely taste great.”

“Bet you will like this too!”

Just as those words fell, an inescapable fist filled her vision. A pain rose in her jaw, and her consciousness was quickly taken over by darkness.

“What just happened? Why is my vision blurred?”

Peanut’s eye blinked rapidly in order to clear it up as she flew across the air like a kite cut loose from its string and smashed headfirst into a mountain because of getting punched by Arnard.

“A punch to the chin might not do a thing to the undying, but against bastards like you, it’s enough to give a concussion.”

Arnard chased after her.

“Stay back. Let me take care of her.”

He left behind those words for his wife and engaged in a fight against the High Priestess.

“I must go save him.”

Peanut’s miniature world was conjured using the power of Chaos. A mortal couldn’t possibly break it. That’s why she believed it was unbreakable. But it could be shattered using divine power. Vivia used her divine power to create a hole in it. Stepping out of it, she used her divine powers to locate where her son was and went towards Damien.

He was in the garden behind the manor. It was quite close to here.

“Please hold on. Mommy is on her way.” The Female Siren prayed. “Lord Father, if you are listening to me, please don’t let anything happen to him. Please!”
