Chapter 163: Replication Ability?

Chapter 163: Replication Ability?

I sat down on a dirty, wooden bench betwixt Hanso and Claudia. There, I remembered her name. And that was because it was worth remembering this time. She possessed a Perfect Replication ability!

Hanso seemed intriguied. He sat down constantly peering at Claudia. “I remained silent when you came because I had a massive but instant crush on you. I was too shy. Just with one look at you, I knew you were special. From the time you walked up to us—”

“Don’t flatter me like that,” she interrupted, blushing.

Hanso smirked. “Fine. I’ll try my best not to, but that seems impossible now that I am peering at your beauty.”

Beauty? Unfortunately she wasn’t beautiful at all. It was obvious what Hanso was trying to do here. But not to her. She was, after all, a bit … crazy.

Suddenly, she started laughing manically. Not only was her chuckle the worst I’ve heard but her laugh was a whole new ball game. She gestured her hand, brushing it to the left. “Come on, stop it. You’re making me excited and happy and uncomfortable and blush at the same time. Too much for a crazy girl like me to handle.”

Hanso wore a smug. “And your presence is too much for a demonic guy like me to handle.”

“You’re crazy,” she said.

“Huh? Excuse me?”

“You’re crazy,” she repeated, “I don’t even know your name and you’re flirting with me. On top of that craziness you think you’re demonic. That’s crazy.”

“But you’re a fucking lot of craziness. You tried to be your cat Sam!” He snapped.

“Hey, you’re right,” she said, “I’m crazy as well. That makes the two of us. Now, I suddenly,” she looked him in the eyes, “have feelings for you.”

“Well,” Hanso leaned in, “it’s best demonic me prepare a monstrous date and ask you out ASAP. Can I take you out?”

She chuckled again. “Yes! Yes! Please take me out! I’ve never had a boyfriend before. Well, my cat Sam pretended to my boyfriend. But Sam’s a girl. Things didn’t work out between us. But maybe,” she blew a kiss, “it will with an actual person.”

I felt utterly uncomfortable in the middle of them. I narrowed my eyes, irritated—excessively. Why didn’t they just sit next to each other?

“An actual person?” Hanso asked. “That’s insane. What are you talking about? I’m a demon. Especially,” he winked, “in the dark.”

Claudia perked up. “YES!” She thrust a hand in the air. “I’ve always wanted to have sex!”

Wait what? I sneered at her.

“You should know that my v card was already taken by Claudia. Claudia is me myself by the way,” she performed that psychotic chuckle again.

I was … disgusted.

“I’m pretty sure Hanso wasn’t talking about,” I said, “the s word.”

Hanso elbowed me. I winced.

Claudia deflated. “Aw, no. Really?”

Hanso pretended to frown. “Unfortunately. I wasn’t talking about the ‘s’ word. I was talking about,” he winked, “the triple ‘s’ word. Sssex. It’s a more romantic thing compared to the traditional stuff.”

Claudia perked up. “This talk is turning me on! I always wanted to try the ceiling position. They say it hurts the most.”

If this continued, I was going to throw up for sure. What was the ceiling position even?

Hanso leaned back, smirking. “We should venture out to our first date before I decide to ram the gates of the pink fortress. If you know what I mean.”

“I know what you mean! We should kiss a few times at a fancy restaurant after our mouths are dirty with all the fancy food. Then, we proceed to share saliva.”

I cringed. It was true. That happens on dates. But everything she said made me disgusted.

“Also,” he said, “my ability turns on when I’m turned on. What about your ability? Tell me more about. I honestly want to know everything. Abilities fascinate me.”

Claudia sighed. “Aw, I understand. Well,” she frowned, “my ability is perfect replication. I’m supposed to be able to replicate any object. Like make a perfect copy of it. But I think there’s a defect. I can only get it work on small items.”

Hanso leaned in again. “Small items? Can you show me an example?” His enthusiasm was conspicuous. This was where his insterests of Claudia laid.

Claudia stood, pulling her skirt lower. When she stood I tossed my head away, because I made out a pink underwear. I looked at her again when she was finsihed fixing her clothes.

She smiled, and then jammed a hand into her pocket. She pulled out a handful of fingernails. They were huge clusters. Once again, I was grossed out. “These are the fingernails I’ve been collecting for a whole year.”

“They’re beautiful,” Hanso said, “but nowhere as beautiful as you.”

She blushed. Then, she separated a single fingernail and jammed the rest back into her pocket. She looked up at us again, and said, “Watch me.”

She breathed in, and exhaled. Suddenly, her hands started to glow white. Her palms were radiant. She squinted, her head downcast at her hands. The glow’s intentsity decreased quickly, and she exhaled again.

She then smiled and pushed out a hand. There were two fingernails resting upon her palm. “There, I did it! I did it for you, stranger I don’t know. But I prefer having sex with strangers. They’re full of susprizes and it’s likely that they won’t take it easy on you.” She winked.

Hanso needed to impress her.

And I just needed a bag to puke in.

Hanso stood. “I think I understand what’s holding back you’re potential when it comes to your ability. Though some people have regained power, others haven’t fully regained this power. You might have a partial seal. I’ll take you to someone I know. He’ll be able to break the seal.”

Claudia hopped on her feet, looking up at Hanso. “I’ll go anywhere with you! Take me on the date when we’re finished meeting this ‘someone’!”

Hanso smirked. “How about we leave right now? See you later Ash. We’ll be right back,” he looked over his shoulder and winked at me.

I watched Hanso and Claudia walk away, hand in hand. I guess we just acquired someone with a perfect replication ability. Now, we just had to hide her existence from others.

I sat on the bench for a while, until I someone sat beside me. I moved around to give the person more space. Then, I glimpsed at him. My eyes widened, and then my glimpse turned into a gaze.

He looked at me and said, “We meet again.”
