“The Ruler of Gods’ Inner Palace is a special Magic-breaker Zone. Except for the Ruler of Gods, all other beings, including the other gods, will lose all their strength.”
The Mountain beat his chest. “It’s fine, I’ll give it a try.”
“You don’t believe me?” The Hunter Goddess questioned.
“I do, but after we spent so much effort getting here, wouldn’t it be a waste if we didn’t even go in and have a look? Don’t worry, I’m a player, I won’t actually die.”
“Player… Actually die…” The Hunter Goddess was once again confused by such terms.
As The Mountain had volunteered, he crawled in through the dark door.
“This place… It feels so strange, my strength is rapidly seeping out of my body… I’m losing feeling in my legs… My arms… It feels almost like I’ve just ejaculated dozens of times… Dark Wing, farewell, the light beckons me…. Aaahhhhhh, Lil Snow, I’ve always wanted to tell you…”
After The Mountain sent over his last words, he went completely silent.
Li Yi replied, “The Mountain? Did you die or just lose your strength? Or are you really so weak now that you can’t even talk properly? If you didn’t die and can’t talk, then type 1.”
In the Party Channel, a number “1” appeared. It was from The Mountain.
The Hunter Goddess sighed. “The Ruler of Gods’ Inner Palace will strip you of all your strength, only the Ruler of Gods will be unaffected.”
Li Yi waved his Ruler of Gods’ Staff up high and asked, “Will this staff get affected?”
The Hunter Goddess shook her head. “I don’t know… However, I do know of one item that can prevent the Magic-breaker Zone’s effects.”
“What item?”
The Hunter Goddess pointed at the Orange Quality Bow on Li Yi’s back.
“The bow.”
“Why didn’t you say so earlier?”
Li Yi relaxed as he switched over to his Orange Quality Bow.
The Hunter Goddess corrected her previous statement. “What I meant was, the completed form of that Orange Quality Bow.”
Li Yi was speechless.
The Orange Quality Bow’s last attribute had yet to be unlocked. Despite it being in his possession for so many years, Li Yi still had not figured out how to unlock it.
“When all the seals on the Wrath of the Gods have been removed, the wielder of the bow shall not be affected by any power. I remember a long time ago, the Dwarf, Blackbeard, took advantage of that and shot down Mount Pantheon, that was protected by the Magic-breaker Divine Power, right in front of the Ruler of Gods.”
Li Yi sincerely asked, “Goddess, how exactly does one remove the last seal on the Orange Quality Bow?”
“I’m… I’m not too sure.”
Li Yi was speechless. He immediately pointed at Carulla and Evil God. “Do we need to kill a couple of gods as sacrifice?”
The Hunter Goddess continued shaking her head.
“Isera, you scum!” Carulla glared at the Hunter Goddess. She seems to think that the Hunter Goddess wanted to use Li Yi to kill her.
Li Yi frowned. “Not even killing gods will do the trick…”
Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind. Li Yi slapped his thigh and said, “Hey, do you think if I combine the Ruler of Gods’ Staff with the Wrath of the Gods, it will release the last seal?”
“This… Maybe… Possibly… I don’t know…” The Hunter Goddess’ answer was just as vague as usual.
“Screw it, I’ll give it a try. Worst case scenario, I die. It’s no big deal.”
Li Yi was at the end of his patience.
“You two go in first!”
Li Yi pointed the Ruler of Gods Staff at Carulla and the Evil God.
At this point, the only thing keeping these two gods in check was the Ruler of Gods Staff. Since Li Yi decided to go in, he naturally would not leave them out here.
“You guys don’t go in first. If anything happens to me, remember, charge in one-by-one and tank as much as you can. We have to get back the Ruler of Gods’ Staff at any cost.”
Li Yi warned Fluttering Rain Purple Water Chestnut and the others. As soon as they nodded, he held his Orange Quality Bow in one hand and the Ruler of God’s Staff in the other. Ordering Dolly to lead the way, he crawled through the dark door.
The Hunter Goddess was helpless, she had no choice but to return to the Orange Quality Bow, accompanying Li Yi in.
“Squeak squeak… Limp…”
Not long after Dolly went in, she fell down from the sky, landing in Li Yi’s palms, crying out the word “Limp”.
Li Yi felt a surge of weird energy course through his veins. His strength trickling away with every wave of this energy and he started to feel fatigued, miserable, almost as if his spirit was being drained away…
The Ruler of Gods’ Magic-breaker Divine Power was truly mysterious…
It seemed like Carulla and the Evil God who were leading away were also being affected by this, but their situation seemed much worse when compared to Li Yi. Li Yi was wielding the Ruler of Gods’ Staff in one hand and the incomplete Wrath of the Gods in the other. That would, at the very least, give him a bit of resistance against this Magic-breaker Divine Power, whereas, they did not have such a luxury.
Li Yi took a deep breath as he slammed down the Ruler of Gods’ Staff onto the ground.
“Thud!”
A rainbow-colored aura burst out as Li Yi suddenly felt the Magic-breaker Divine Power that was enveloping him weaken slightly.
“Thud!”
“Thud!”
Seeing that the Ruler of Gods’ Staff was effective, Li Yi slammed it on the ground with each step he took. Soon, he saw the vanguard, The Mountain, lying flat on the ground.
The Mountain’s strength had been completely stripped away. At this point, he did not even have the strength left to utter a single word. However, as he saw Li Yi approaching, his eyes lit up with a glimmer of hope.
As Li Yi walked up to The Mountain, he immediately slammed the Ruler of Gods’ Staff on the ground.
“Thud!”

After slamming it nearly a dozen times, The Mountain finally grunted out loud, his strength slowly returning to his body.
The Ruler of Gods’ Staff seemed to have the miraculous effect of dispelling the Magic-breaker Divine Power. After Li Yi’s experimentation, he figured out that as long as he kept slamming the staff on the ground, the Magic-breaker Divine Power around him would be dispelled.
Carulla and the Evil God had long been lying on the ground, but Li Yi did not bother using the Ruler of Gods’ Staff near them. Hence, they had no choice but to continue being restricted by the Magic-breaker Divine Power.
As The Mountain got back on his feet, he let out a huge sigh. “Phew, this place is really mysterious. I didn’t even have enough energy to type a single word just now.”
The inner palace looked extravagantly majestic. The murals on the walls were several times more intricate than the outer palace.
The Mountain pointed at the wall on the left. “Look over there, that mural seems to depict the secret behind the origin of the gods…”
Although he was completely immobilized earlier, The Mountain had not been idle. He used his eyes to carefully observe his surroundings. To his surprise, the contents of the murals on the wall were depictions of the birth of the gods.
The mural was to be viewed from left-to-right. Combining all the murals on the wall together, they depicted the origins and history of the gods.
The first mural showed a single egg and a humanoid baby trapped within it. In the second mural, the baby seemed to have grown up, breaking out of the egg. In the third, the baby had turned into an elder, his hands glowing with a rainbow-colored Divine Power. He created the first god of this world – Omega, the Ruler of Gods!
Then, the elder started to create other gods. He also created the land and the sky, flora and fauna, Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Orcs, and everything else of this world.
After the elder finished creating everything, smiling till the very end, most of his body was transformed into the floating landmass of Mount Pantheon, whereas a small portion of his body transformed into a full set of armor. His spine had turned into the Ruler of Gods’ Staff.
…In the ninth mural, it depicts the first god to be created wielding the Ruler of Gods’ Staff, clad in the Ruler of Gods’ Battle Armor. Omega had become the King of Pantheon.
