Chapter 224 Easiest World Boss Kill
Alex stood at the top of a tree, looking at the massive Rhinoceros resting in the distance at the entrance of an enormous cave opening with its inside shimmering with colorful crystals.
The Rhino’s height reached forty feet from the ground even when he lay flat, while his body was covered in thick gray crystal plating covering the whole of his body like armor, boosting his defense to an unprecedented level.
The Rhino skin under his armor plating was white, while he had two white horns just above his snout that shimmered like diamonds pulsing with energy.
‘Let’s see what a soul skill can do,’ Alex thought as he used the Soul Infusion Skill.
The sword got covered in ethereal energy, and slowly, the blade started to become illusionary, and in mere moments, the pitch-dark blade turned nonphysical, which, to Alex’s surprise, he couldn’t even touch.
‘I didn’t expect such a result,’ Alex thought, surprised by the changes to his blade.
It was Alex’s first time using the skill, so he was surprised by the results, but it also made him realize how the skill could bypass any physical defense and target the soul.
Alex didn’t waste a moment vanishing from his location, appearing above the sleeping Rhino’s head while firmly gripping the sword hilt with both hands, and an instant later, he descended and plunged the sword right into the plated head of the creature.
The sword went through the armored plate without facing any resistance, and for a few seconds, nothing happened, making Alex question if he needed to make contact with the skin.
But before Alex could act on his thoughts, the Rhino’s body shocked violently as the creature woke up from his slumber with bloodshot eyes and roared in anguish.
Alex used the phantom walk skill to appear in the distance, looking shocked by the damage his attack did but even more so by the condition of the mighty world boss.
[-5.4 Million HP]
‘This is truly unexpected, ‘ Alex thought, looking at the damage number.
Alex was surprised would be an understatement because he was up against a world boss, and even with the strength of peak third Rank, the Rhino was a walking calamity and had defense similar to a fifth Rank creature while his health pool was close to 15 Million.
Alex took away more than a third of the world boss’s health with a single attack and needed to strike twice to end the battle, which truly baffled him as he didn’t expect it to happen.
Alex came to his senses as he felt the ground beneath him caving in, and the reason for that was The Rhino thrashing around in a frenzied state while roaring in agony.
The Rhino slammed his feet on the ground, sending shockwaves, and slammed his horns into the ground repeatedly, ripping the ground around him apart while giant boulders rained around him, targeting his body.
The world Boss seemed to have lost his sanity with his actions, but Alex knew that the creature was experiencing an untold level of pain and was thrashing about in an attempt to find relief from the agony coursing through his soul.
The Rhino’s mighty roar, which should symbolize power and authority, was transformed into desperate, anguished cries. The sound was filled with a piercing resonance, reflecting the depths of its suffering and the sheer helplessness he was experiencing.
‘Let’s end his misery,’ Alex thought as he vanished from his place.

‘The majority of the creatures in this section of the forest are infected with the devourer Curse and are on the brink of tuning into the Rage Beats,’
‘Let’s ask these Slave scums what those lowly horned mugs are planning,’ The man thought, looking toward the distance, and a moment later, he vanished from his place.
The man appeared before a group of seven cloaked individuals who were walking toward an unknown destination, and seeing the unknown figure appear before them, the group stopped, and two of the members even drew their weapons.
“Senior, We belong to the Household of Frostwraith and work directly under Duke Arcturus, and we will be happy to help in any way,” The person in the lead said as he removed his cloak while signaling his group members to lower their weapons.
The group leader had just finished his statement when the two members who drew their weapons started to scream in agony as every pore on their bodies started to leak blood while their eyes bulged out on the brink of coming out.
All five remaining group members tried to draw their weapons, but to their honor, they couldn’t even move an inch from their place.
“If you do not want to experience an agonizing death with extreme pain lasting for hours, then answer my question and earn an easy and painless death,” The man said as the two screaming members’ bodies burst apart in a gory mess of blood, muscles, and bones.
“What are the Demons planning,” The man questioned.
“Senior, We don’t know what you are talking about. You must have mistaken us for someone else. I can take a Law oath.” The leader mumbled, with his eyes filled with fear making it appear he was a scared man telling the truth, but suddenly his expression changed.
“Bastered, you will die.” The leader screamed as the aura around him and his group members turned malevolent, but a mere moment later, the dark aura dissipated into thin air. π―ππ±π»π¨ππ²π₯.πΌπΏπ
“I wanted to avoid looking through your insignificant life,” The man said, and all five individuals’ eyes at this point were wide open, filled with genuine horror.
“Blood Memory”

Alex lay flat on the unharmed body of the Rhino with an exhausted look with dead fish eyes as if he had just gone through the most intense training session of his life while his guardians had a serious discussion about the upcoming chaos.
“So what did you find out,” Lady Margaret asked.
“The Demons plan to invade the human continent in the next twenty days, causing a big distraction, and their target is to unseal a Chaos Spawn sealed in the old capital ruins of Darkness Kingdom.”
“They plan to use the Chaos Spawn to kill the Human Empiers Elemental Rulers, Adventurer Guild Elders, and anyone of power they could and replace them with their controlled slaves,” Elder Darrien replied, looking toward Alex.
“There is Chaos Spawn sealed on the human continent,” Lady Margaret asked, her tone getting serious.
“I know about that sealed Chaos Spawn, and he has lost his Chaos heart, so he should pose no trouble to even a middle-stage Elemental Ruler, but the demons should know about it as well,”
“This leads me to believe the demons either don’t know about the Chaos Spawn’s current condition, or they know it and have prepared a way to make the creature regain his true strength temporarily,”
“I completely believe the demon has some other agenda because if the Chaos Spawn regained his complete capabilities even for a few hours, the damage to the Human continent would be catastrophic,”
“Ahrimon would never do such a thing unless he plans to abandon his goal of regaining his freedom,” Elder Darrien said, his voice staying emotionless but momentarily thick blood lust leaking from his being.
