Chapter 1011 New resolve
Chapter 1011 New resolve
It took Max a good five days to slowly regain his senses as he felt completely lost about where he was or why he could see absolutely nothing.
For a moment he wondered if he had gone blind? But then memories came flooding back to him as he realised exactly what happened.
He was currently inside the dark realm, the contingency plan that he had made with the universal queen in case he ever lost control and behaved like a madman bent on destroying the universe which was why there was a perpetual coat of darkness covering his eyes.
“So I lost my mind huh?” He wondered as immediately then he wondered about how long it had been since he was inside this space as he seemed to have no recollection of time ever since he was consumed by the seed of destruction’s corruption.
After the incident with the perfect warrior, there was no doubt in his mind that his family was going to be extremely worried and that this was the time where he needed to be with them, however, he stupidly let the seed take over his conscience and ended up blacking out for only god knew how long?
” Whyβ¦.? Since when did I become so pathetic?” Max questioned himself as he felt angry and unstable, however, quickly brought his emotions in check as he felt a destructive aura surging in his body once more.
His situation now was volatile, although he had regained control over his mind, the parameters to trigger instability had been changed.
Anything small could trigger him and cause him to lose his mind as he could no longer suppress the destructive aura inside him by himself.
Ofcourse, he wanted to escape immediately, however, he was not sure if he was stable enough to come out as he had no idea how powerful the seeds’ corruptive powers were now that he had used a great deal of them.
Also he noticed that two big changes had taken place in his body over the last five days, with the first and most important being that he had gained close to 100 levels for some reason which was next to impossible for someone his level.
Apparently, the reward for achieving the impossible and killing the perfect warrior’s clone was EXP equivalent to 100 tier8 levels which saved Max about 2.5 years worth of levelling efforts within the ultimate levelling pagoda.
It was a big silver lining in this crisis that he was facing and so was the fact that his total HP and total mana capacity seemed to have gone up by 20%.
Max was not sure as to what gave birth to this phenomenon, however, he was grateful for his body undergoing an upgrade as he knew now just how badly he needed it.
The gap between himself and the perfect warrior was massive and Max understood that he was lucky to beat him as he did, however, in a one vs one battle when the perfect warrior would be fighting out of his home turf would be completely different.
If before this Max was unsure of just how much he needed to work to beat that man or unsure on whether or not he wanted to ascend, there was no confusion in his mind regarding both questions anymore. π΅πππ§πππ.π¬π€π’
He needed to improve a lot and he needed to stop that bastard and put him to bed as he was the last credible threat left to his family in the entire universe.
This time around his family was lucky to have survived his attack without any major consequence, but what about the next time? Or the one there after?
As long as the perfect warrior lived, a threat would constantly loom over the peace and stability of the Rajput family and as its second patriarch Max could not stand for it.
An end to the perfect warrior’s reign was necessary and Max was determined to be the one who would bring it about.

( Meanwhile Kartikeya )
Just like Max, Kartikeya too felt like his world had turned upside down ever since the perfect warrior attacked again.
‘Futile’ was the word that best surmised his courage and efforts to hurt the perfect warrior as even his best attacks could not even scratch that man.
Kartikeya thought about the sequence of events that occured and kept tossing and turning in bed at night as he was way too upset at the fact that he was extremely powerless.
Thankfully no-one had died in the perfect warrior’s attack, or else Kartikeya could have never forgave himself for the mishap, however, while no-one died this was a second wake up call for him to get stronger.
He was a tier6 warrior already capable of taking down tier7 warriors and was formidable on his own, but the opponents he wished to face were in a realm of their own and to beat them he needed to advance towards becoming a monarch and fast.
” TWO YEARS! I SWEAR I’LL BECOME A TIER7 WARRIOR IN TWO YEARS” He yelled as tears trickled down his chin and an emotional whirlpool surged inside him.
Regardless of what others thought about him, or how they viewed him as a mischievous madman, the truth about Kartikeya was that he was soft at heart and loved his family a lot.
He was the sort of child that would prefer having his own arm severed but not let Amy suffer a single lash if that trade could be made.
He was a child that sincerely loved his uncle Max and his entire family and wanted to be the one who could proudly protect them once he was gone.
To achieve his goal, he was ready to train as a madman, he was ready to be called insane by others- Because the day a big threat like the perfect warrior dared to raise its eyes at the Rajput Capital, would be the day where Kartikeya would be happy that he lost his mind, as his enemies would feel his wrath.
