Chapter 592 Max And Clone Vs Thalion
Thalion’s shooting speed was incredible.
Even Though Severus and DarkSorrow were tier5 warriors and were only one step weaker to him and ganging up on him two vs one, they could not keep up with his agility as neither of them could get an opening to land a strike.
Anna who was drinking a potion to recover from her recent wounds was startled as despite fighting two opponents at once, Thalion managed to shoot the glass potion bottle off her hands clean, preventing her from drinking the potion.
As Thalion lunged towards Anna once again, DarkSorrow and Severus threw themselves at him in a desperate bid to protect the elven princess.
Their attempts, however, did little to slow him down. The disparity in their strength was glaringly evident, and despite their valiant attempts, the tide of the battle was turning swiftly in Thalion’s favour.
Just as Thalion was about to land a potentially lethal blow on Severus who was off-balance and in range for a headshot, a sudden gust of wind whipped through the battlefield and deflected the arrows pathway, forcing it to miss its mark.
With a loud *CRASH* two men arrived in style on the battlefield.
Max had arrived alongside the clone! And they arrived just in time to halt Thalion’s attack, providing the much-needed respite to their weary comrades.
Thalion’s eyes widened in surprise, he thought that the Bloodfall commander would be a goner for sure if he was facing the crazy god Tweety, but a quick scan towards the sky made Thalion aware of the fact that neither Tweety nor a single member of her legion were left alive in the sky.
Momentarily taken aback by the facts of the destroyed aerial legion and the demise of Tweety, Thalion stopped his assault and intriguingly gazed at Max. 𝐛𝐞𝐝𝗻𝐨𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝐜𝐨𝗺
With a tone of grudging respect, he said ” Most Impressive, Lord Ravan Bloodfall, your strength is indeed not overhyped” as he acknowledged Max’s strength.
“You took care of the aerial legion and Tweety more swiftly than I anticipated.”
” I’m flattered, elf, but I believe it’s commander Max who killed the harpy ” Max replied as he gestured towards the clone who dusted his shoulders off at the compliment.
” Ofcourse, Max Rajput, the little brother of Rudra Rajput, the human who joined the vampire camp. I know all about you as well” Thalion said as he acknowledged the strength of the clone as well.
” If you know of us then this is your opportunity to retreat- the two of us killed the harpy god and will kill you as well if you don’t run away now ” the clone said as it tried to intimidate Thalion into forfeiting this fight, however, his attempts to do so failed.
” Nice try gentlemen – although I do acknowledge the two of you as worthy adversaries, I also understand that it’s not easy to eliminate entire legions and kill a tier6 god without expending considerable efforts.
As a tier6 god myself, I understand perfectly as to just how little divine essence we have to expend from not being god’s that are worshipped by billions of mortals.
The two of you probably can’t use your divine attacks anymore but I’m as fresh as a flower.
I can kill you both and claim unprecedented honour amongst the dark faction ” Thalion said as he saw right through the clone’s attempt to deter him from the fight.
” So be it ! ” Max said as he activated the skill
[ Buddha’s Avatar ]
Immediately, Max was enveloped in a blinding golden aura that made his figure look divine, heavenly.
On the other hand the Clone took a step forward and brandished his sword with a determined look.
This was their plan, Max would become an impenetrable shield, soaking up Thalion’s attacks while the Clone would deal the damage, an effective strategy given their current condition.
Thalion, looking at this display of defiance, could only smirk. “Very well,” he murmured, readying his bow and arrows. “Let’s see how long you can keep this up.”
With a burst of movement, Thalion lunged away from Max and shot a barrage of arrows towards his tall golden figure.
All his attacks were targeted with surgical precision. His arrows, enhanced by his divine power, were like bolts of lightning. Each arrow that Thalion loosened was met with Max’s resolute defence, the combination of his golden aura and wind manipulation skills deflecting them with surprising ease.
Meanwhile as Max dragged the aggro, the Clone closed in on the retreating Archer and tried to get in some sword attacks from close range.
Thalion knew that he could no longer stay at one place and dodge the incoming attacks while taking his time to aim and shoot at the opponent like he could do while facing Severus and DarkSorrow.
The clone was much faster than the two and could actually move step for step at his speed which made the battle much more challenging as from a distance Max kept using Earth and Wind manipulation to destroy his tempo.
The clone struck at Thalion with speed and precision, landing strikes where Thalion least expected.
The battlefield had turned into an intense spectacle. Thalion, facing two foes who refused to back down, was being pushed back. His arrows were increasingly ineffective against Max’s fortified defences, and the Clone’s relentless strikes were gradually chipping away at his health.
However, the duo was not without their problems. Max, even with Buddha’s Avatar, was straining under the barrage of attacks. The golden aura flickered as each of Thalion’s arrows met his defences. He gritted his teeth, pulling from his dwindling reserves to keep the skill active.
On the other hand, the Clone was also feeling the strain of constantly moving at top speed, unlike what Thalion believed to be his natural speed, the only reason the clone could keep up with Thalion step for step was because he was manipulation the air around him to reduce air resistance and give him a boost of speed.
While he was able to land small successful hits, each attack expended precious stamina while dealing barely a few thousand points in damage.
But despite the odds, Max and the Clone held their ground, their resolve unwavering. Thalion, despite his initial confidence, was slowly beginning to feel the pressure. He was a tier6 god, facing two seemingly exhausted warriors, and yet, he was on the defensive.
In that moment, he realised – these were no ordinary warriors. They were warriors with an indomitable spirit, a tenacious will that refused to back down. Thalion, for the first time, felt a twinge of doubt.
He knew this fight was far from over, but with Max and his Clone standing against him, the outcome was no longer as predictable as he had initially thought.
He would need to give this battle everything he had got to turn the tide in his favour. As of now he held a few Trump cards in his pocket which was why he still had confidence in winning the fight, but if the enemy was also not going all out but instead holding their real strength back then he would be in real trouble.
