Chapter 596 Selfish God’s
Thalion felt a burning sensation all over his body. He couldn’t understand what was happening as the last thing he remembered was shooting the [ Death Shot ] as he waited for the deaths of one or more of Ravan’s friends.
Ravan looked too bruised and battered to unleash a divine move of his own, but surprisingly against all odds the man did manage to put up a counter as he neutralised all five arrows.
The resulting explosion from the clash stirred up so much smoke and dirt that it reduced visibility to zero.
Having just used a forbidden move himself, he was catching his breath when a fireball attack came zoning in towards him.
Thalion swerved to the left, hoping to evade the attack because of changing the trajectory but the Fireball swerved alongside him stunning Thalion completely as being a move of the homing kind as it hit him squarely on the chest.

[ System Notification – You have been blasted with eternal flames, they cannot be extinguished until you die.
You will continually take flame damage till the flames are not extinguished ]
” The F*** ” Thalion cursed as he tried to swat the fire off his body, but the more he struggled against the flames the more they began spreading all over his body.
A few seconds later, Thalion was covered in flames from head to toe and the heat had begun melting his skin and armour.
He was a god and his pain tolerance was so high that he would not lose consciousness from such an experience which made his situation even worse as throughout all the pain he was conscious and fully aware of his suffering.
Thalion screamed on-top of his lungs as he called for help. He rolled in the dirt and rubbed himself against a nearby boulder but it was all useless, the divine flames of Max’s attack kept burning nonetheless.
It was at this moment that Thalion saw Gurdan arriving at the scene as he felt a slimmer of hope for survival.
His HP which was a bright yellow before this particular attack hit him was now down to a bright red. Should Gurdan not save him in the next minute or so he would die from the fire damage.
” Gurdan! Thank Avans you are here- Please save me my friend, these flames are killing me ” Thalion pleaded as he looked at Gurdan with hopeful eyes.
Gurdan took a step closer to Thalion as he studied the flames before clicking his tongue as he said ” I can’t touch these flames Thalion they will spread all over my body too if I do ”
Saying so, Gurdan took a step back leaving Thalion absolutely shocked and in horror.
Thalion’s eyes widened in disbelief at the kind of man that Gurdan was. He studied the flames once and determined that it was inconvenient for him to try and extinguish them so he gave up without even trying.
” You moth******* ” Thalion cursed as he tried to throw himself with whatever little power he had left on Gurdan, hoping to take the cocky tiger beastmen down with him in his misery by spreading the flames on him as well-, but his attempt was futile, Gurdan was too fast to fall for his trap as he dodged the attempt and watched from distance as Thalion burned to his horrific death.
The eternal flames extinguished once Thalion was dead, leaving a charred corpse of the once handsome dark elf prince exposed on the battlefield.
*Clap* *Clap* *Clap*
Gurdan began clapping at this feat as he looked towards Max and friends who had managed to achieve this feat.
Gurdan saw that Ravan Bloodfall, probably the strongest warrior on the enemy camp had already fainted from the effort of the fight but some other weaklings were standing around him trying to protect him.
” I’m actually quite impressed. I was not expecting to see an intact Bloodfall clan on my way here.
I had believed that Tweety and Thalion would make short work of your camp, but I’ll have to commend you all for eliminating two god’s and faring so well against their top notch legions ” Gurdan said as he continued to clap for the Bloodfall warriors as he was joined by two other men.
Vas the Ymir and the leader of the Frostwolf marauders, A true giant and expert of ice based battles.
Donatella the vampire defector and the leader of the crimson shadows.
Three gods stood against the Bloodfall clan commanders as their leader and the closest warrior to a god Max laid out cold on the battlefield.
” I’ll make it easy for you guys, my fight is not with you all anyways.
Hand over Lord Ravan peacefully, and I’ll look the other way as all of you make a run for the woods.
You will be embraced in the dark faction as defectors and will be given positions of honour within the Mercenary ranks.
I offer you everything.
A new life
A new home
Honor
Money
I offer you way more than you deserve considering the fact that if you choose to fight against us, you will die before you can even blink your eyes. 𝒃𝙚𝒅𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒆𝒍.𝙘𝒐𝙢
And all I ask in return is surrender Ravan Bloodfall to me.
Ain’t I very kind and merciful? ” Gurdan asked as he spread his arms and gave Anna his kindest smile which looked very crooked.
Of Course the group was never going to even consider such a ridiculous offer, but the pressure of facing three gods at once was undeniable.
The five of them together were struggling just to beat down Thalion, there was no way in hell that the four of them here could now take on 3 god’s alone.
With their backs against a wall, the group needed nothing short of a miracle to get out of this precarious position.
” Comeon now guys, we don’t have all day here, make a choice now or die! ” Gurdan urged as the clone took a deep breath and clutched the Goldmans sword hard.
” Take the Lord and run. I’ll shrink the kitty down to size ” The clone said as he asked the others to retreat.
