MMORPG : Rebirth Of The Strongest Vampire God

Chapter 600 Vengeful Spirits

( Gurdan’s POV )

Gurdan wanted nothing to do with the purple eyed Max as he wanted to stay away from the fight, but with Angakok pulling an unexpected move, Gurdan was taken aback and forced to engage in combat against a fallen ally.

The charred corpse of Thalion, risen from the ashes of betrayal and fueled by resentment, loomed over Gurdan like a deathly shadow. It’s hollowed eyes glinting with a smouldering fire that bared a grim message – vengeance.

On his skeletal frame, the outlines of his once muscular form were now barely visible, his flesh scorched beyond recognition by Max’s divine fireball. Yet in his hands, he held his trusty longbow, an extension of his very being, even in death.

The menacing figure lurched forward, his movements stiff and unnerving.

Before his death the dark elven prince was known for his agile grace and even in death he was still a walking nightmare who was just stripped of his eloquent speech and charming persona.

But despite this his objective was as clear as the day, which was to kill Gurdan, the man who had abandoned him to his fiery fate.

Gurdan, taken aback by the sight of his fallen comrade, could only gape at the looming figure in horror. He’d seen death before, but never had he witnessed the dead rise with such hate.

Thalion drew back his bow, a crude arrow nocked onto the string. There was no need for words, only the sharp twang of the bowstring echoed ominously across the expanse as it perfectly conveyed Thalions emotions.

The arrow, tainted by the vengeful spirit of its wielder, darted through the air like a dark omen. It homed in on Gurdan with an unnatural accuracy, striking him right on his shoulder.

-70,000

Gurdan hissed, pain searing through his body as he forcefully yanked out the arrow. The silent assault of his undead foe was getting under his skin, stirring a sense of unease he hadn’t experienced before.

He could have dodged the arrow, but he wasn’t sure if what he was seeing was real or an illusion as uptil now he believed that Max must have pulled a trick with his mind to make him believe that Thalion had arisen.

With this arrow piercing his shoulder he was now sure that this was all real and not a dream as he prepared to engage in combat.

Thalion was unrelenting. With a stoic persistence, he sent one arrow after another, each shot tainted with his burning resentment as Gurdan found himself on the defensive, barely managing to evade the relentless volley of arrows.

In the face of this unexpected onslaught, Gurdan could not help but reflect on his choice to abandon Thalion.

There was no guilt in his heart over the action, but he regretted not obliterating the corpse completely when it tried to lunge at him before dying.

Maybe if he had decapitated the corpse or something, Max would not have been able to resurrect it.

Thalion the dead, irritated by Gurdan constantly evading his arrows, decided to charge at the man, forgetting that archers were not supposed to fight at close range.

Thalion, for all his undead resilience, could not match Gurdan’s divine strength. The god’s charge ended with a brutal punch that sent Thalion’s skeletal form flying backwards, crashing into the dirt.

For a moment, it seemed like the fallen had finally been laid to rest. But then, as if propelled by sheer hatred, Thalion staggered back up to his feet, ready to fight. His relentless spirit was a chilling sight to behold, but Gurdan was resolute.

Seeing him get back up, Gurdan advanced towards him, this time, to finally put Thalion to rest.

His next strike, imbued with his divine might, ripped through Thalion’s form, shattering him into a thousand pieces.

Silence reigned as the dust settled. Thalion’s body, once a symbol of dark elven royalty and peak archery skill, was now nothing more than a broken heap. But his silent struggle had sent a clear message – the dead do not forget, and the guilty shall not escape.

” Note to self – Never leave the corpse of an ally you turned your back on intact.

Burn it to ashes yourself ” Gurdan said as he took that as his eventual lesson from this saga.

( Meanwhile Angakok )

Vas and Donatella had never regretted being born in their entire lifetime as much as they regretted being born today.

In four short minutes, the condition that Angakok had left the godly duo in could only be expressed as pitiful.

Donatella, a vampire who was known to enjoy a good blood snack was left bleeding from all orifices and was missing one eye.

While Vas the once cold Ymir God was missing two palms and one ankle.

To say that the two god’s were only alive because their opponent did not feel like killing them was not an understatement, as the fight between them had been so one sided that the two did not even feel like using their divine moves and try to turn the tide of the battle.

There was no tide to turn, there was no fight to be had.

Whatever information they had on Max Rajput was clearly either outdated or had been compiled by some absolute retard.

Let alone tier6 god’s, even if a tier7 god dared to step in front of this madman they would have to be on the backfoot and fear their lives.

Gurdan the sneaky bastard had left them to die in front of the human, but just as the two felt like the end was near, the five minutes spell duration to summon Angakok was over as consciousness swapped once more and the clone was back in control.

The clone dropped to one knee, puking a mouthful of blood from the exhaustion as the eyes of the two god’s sparkled with hope as they felt like this was the opening they needed to kill Max.

However, before they could do anything, a little dwarf swooped in from out of nowhere, hugged the weak Max on his neck and teleported out of the battlefield taking Max with him, leaving the two god’s dumbfounded as to what had just happened.
