MMORPG: Rise of the Primordial Godsmith

Chapter 1135 Person of Distinction

1135  Person of Distinction

“…Eh?”

As he listened to Scho’doxa’s words, Valyr had a slightly proud smile on his face once the man listed down the rarities of both his class and subclass. After all, it was already difficult for one to obtain a Legendary grade class, much less Mythic grade.

However, for one to obtain an Ancient grade class, one would have to do feats that were near impossible for the majority to achieve. With that, almost everyone within the vicinity looked at Valyr with both shock and admiration.

Even Julian and the others were not spared from this reaction as all of them looked at the young man with their mouths agape.

Considering how they knew the young man at certain stages of his strength, it went without saying that they were left at a complete loss for words once they found out his current level of strength through Scho’doxa.

Then again, the reaction they had paled in comparison to the next one they had, hearing that the young man in front of Scho’doxa was waived from having to participate in the second and third round.

At those words, everyone within the vicinity began to look at Valyr in disbelief, with some of them even beginning to look at the man in slight fear.

After all, from what they could recall, the second to fifth rounds of the tournament was considered the actual tournament.

Since they were more certain that those rounds would undoubtedly involve fighting, that caused them to eventually ask themselves…

What did the young man do exactly to have Scho’doxa automatically waive his participation in the second and third round?

Of course, just like how there were people within the vicinity that began to look at Valyr in slight fear, there were also those who disagreed with how Scho’doxa handled things.

“Now hold on for just one second!” Not long after Scho’doxa announced Valyr’s exemplary qualifications for the first round, a different gruff-looking man from before squeezed his way towards the front, eventually appearing in front of both Scho’doxa and the young man.

Initially flinching after having everyone stare at him, the gruff-looking man took in a deep breath before mustering up his courage to ask Scho’doxa a question.

“What kind of extra qualifications are you talking about for this young man right here to not have to participate the second and third round?” “Are you just saying that as an excuse to show your favoritism towards some people?” continued the man, causing a few among the crowd to nod in agreement as they began to voice out their complaints soon after.

“Yeah! That’s just favoritism! I’ve seen him waive a couple people from participating the second round earlier!”

“However, those people clearly had the qualifications and even showed them after being told they didn’t need to participate in the second round!”

“On the other hand, what did this young man do to deserve such treatment? Not only that, but the man went above and beyond, telling him that he doesn’t even need to participate in the third round!”

“We demand an explanation!”

“We demand an explanation!”

With the gruff-looking man’s words acting as a catalyst, the crowd surrounding both Valyr and Scho’doxa soon erupted in full force, with most of them becoming incredibly vocal about the current situation.

Of course, seeing as Valyr was about to be implicated in a situation he ultimately didn’t have a say in, Julian and the others began to look at the young man with a bit of worry.

As for Scho’doxa, he took in a few statements from the crowd in silence before looking back at Valyr with a slightly apologetic expression.

“Honestly, I wasn’t expecting this to happen. I presume you have an idea why I chose to waive your participation in the next two rounds, right?” the man asked Valyr after taking in a deep breath, his gaze that of slight respect after noticing that the young man seemed unperturbed by the situation.

“Roughly,” replied the young man with a nod after pondering over it for a bit. “It has something to do with the 2nd Tier Seed you mentioned, right?”

“Yeah.” Scho’doxa nodded, glancing at the vocal crowd once more before looking back at Valyr. “Though you don’t really have to, would you mind helping me out a bit? You just have to release the strongest aura you could possibly unleash and I’ll take care of the rest.”

“Uh… sure.” Valyr nodded after some time, prompting him to receive a look of gratitude from the man not long after.

Seeing as the two were talking to one another in whispers all this time, the crowd surrounding them began to assume that the two were coming up with a plausible excuse that would resolve the situation.

However, before the crowd could even erupt with greater fury at the two, the crowd stared at the current situation with their mouths agape once the young man in front of them flared out his aura all of a sudden.

Whoosh!

In less than an instant, Valyr’s aura made the vocal crowd realize that their earlier complaints were ultimately baseless accusations. In fact, some of them even began to have expressions of regret on their faces as they felt the young man’s aura wash over their bodies. Though, just as some thought the young man would stop there, since he’d been asked by Scho’doxa to showcase the strongest aura he could muster, the young man decided to oblige and take it one step further.

‘[Limit Break: Second Verse].’

‘[First Encore].’

‘[Rage of the True Wyvern].’

‘[Refined Offense Aura].’

In just a few seconds, the aura Valyr gave off intensified to a level that made most of the people near him shudder in terror, with some even being on the verge of fainting because of it.

As for the gruff-looking man that started it all, a grim expression swiftly appeared on his face once he felt the aura coming from the young man. At that moment, he inwardly let out a long sigh as he realized he’d misjudged the situation.

‘I’ve already been taught this before, but once again, I should never judge a book by its cover.’

With the aura the young man was exuding, the gruff-looking man understood that there was no favoritism happening whatsoever.

Instead, the young man truly deserved the treatment he was getting!

“To everyone that voiced their dissent just now, I suppose this is more than enough proof for you to realize that my claims are not without reason.” Whilst Valyr continued to flare out his aura, Scho’doxa’s voice began to echo throughout the vicinity, his tone carrying an imposing presence.

“However, to those who are still doubtful of my claims, have you tried fighting against an opponent that’s an entire class rank above you?”

“How about two entire class ranks above you? Have you imagined fighting against such a foe and succeeding?”

“What if I told you that this young man before you not only did those two things, but he also fought against a Myth-level being at Rank 3, succeeded, and lived to tell the tale?”

At that moment, the entire crowd became pin-drop silent, all of them now looking at the young man with emotions that ranged between reverence and terror.

As for Valyr, he remained silent through it all, giving Scho’doxa the opportunity to do his thing.

“[Slayer of Ascendants]. [Apex Hunter]. [Myth-transcending Mortal]. [Surpassing Mortal Bounds]. The various titles he has under his belt are way beyond what the majority of you are able to achieve in your lifetime.”

“Yet, if all of you still have any complaints after everything I’ve said… then that’s not my problem anymore.”

“However, as long as I’m still here… then you better shut the fuck up.”

“…Unless you want to die, that is.”
