Chapter 906 Viewing the Rewards (2)

906  Viewing the Rewards (2)

“Now that I think about it, how many titles did I get from going through the inheritance?” Taking a brief glance at the screen that appeared in front of him, Valyr had a pensive expression on his face as he recounted his journey.

“I got two from Sellifer through the Concept Impartation, then I got another two from Vaughn telling me about my body’s true identity… so that’s four.”

“Huh. That’s quite a decent amount, now that I think about it.” Deciding to bring up the other titles he’d gotten from the inheritance on the side, the young man soon shifted his entire focus on the screen in front of him.

[Inheritor of the Azure Path] (Title)

Rarity: Epic

The Azure Path, also known by many as the path of Azure Energy, is a path to power established by the Azure River Goddess, Sellifer Dusk Veiperis. Combining the properties of both mana and Shadow Energy, Azure Energy is considered a high-tier energy that boasts both great flexibility and power.

Having been taught directly by the Azure River Goddess, you have gained the ability to tap into the power of Azure Energy, inheriting the path of Azure Energy for yourself. Whether or not you see the path to the end is something only fate shall tell.

Effects:

> 8% boost to DEX and INT

> 5% boost to maximum MP

> +10% efficacy in controlling Azure Energy

“A boost to my DEX and INT, my maximum MP, as well as an improvement in controlling Azure Energy.” Going over the effects of the first title, Valyr nodded in understanding. Sᴇaʀch* Thᴇ Nʘvᴇl(F)ire.nᴇt website on Gøøglᴇ to access chapters of nøvels early and in the highest quality.

“The boost to INT and MP is definitely in correlation to mana, while DEX would probably be due to Shadow Energy,” said the young man to himself, only to shrug his shoulders soon after. “Or it could be due to Sellifer being a serpent, I don’t know.”

“In any case, it’s a pretty nice boost revolving around Azure Energy.” Closing the screen in front of him, Valyr then moved one of the screens he brought up to his vision.

“[Disciple of the Azure River Goddess].”

[Disciple of the Azure River Goddess] (Title)

Rarity: Epic

The Azure Path, also known by many as the path of Azure Energy, is a path to power established by the Azure River Goddess, Sellifer Dusk Veiperis. Combining the properties of both mana and Shadow Energy, Azure Energy is considered a high-tier energy that boasts both great flexibility and power.

Having been taught directly by the Azure River Goddess, you have been classified by the system as a disciple of the Azure River Goddess herself. This title is proof that you have obtained tutelage under the Azure River Goddess and are under her wing.

Effects:

> 3% boost to both physical and mental stats

> +15% efficacy in controlling Azure Energy

————

“Huh. I guess that’s why I felt like controlling my Azure Energy was far smoother than before.” Reading through the description of the second title he got from Sellifer, Valyr thought about the similar effects of the two titles before nodding in understanding.

“Aside from that, it’s a great all-around title, especially if I consider that it’s only Epic grade.”

“A shame it doesn’t boost LUK, though.” Shrugging his shoulders at the thought, he then moved onto the two titles he gained from Vaughn, both of which revolved around his existence as a present human with the blood of the old humans flowing through him.

“Now that I think about it… should I call myself Valyr Darkstar from now on?” Chuckling at the small joke he made, the young man briefly thought about Vaughn and the Four Pillars’ Inheritance before bringing the description of both titles in front of him.

[Inheritor of a Long-forgotten Past (Veldanyr)] (Title)

Rarity: Legendary

Through a long series of coincidences and fates, you have become one of the sole few to view the long-forgotten history that shaped Veldanyr into what it is today, obtaining it directly from the source of the history itself.

Because of that, you now understand why the planet is why it is from a far greater perspective, broadening your horizons to far wider lengths. This title is proof that you have inherited this long-forgotten knowledge of Veldanyr’s history.

> 10% boost to INT and WIS

[Note: Though some would rejoice from obtaining this knowledge of a long-forgotten past, some may hunt you down to the ends of time for the same reason. Be vigilant and cautious as to who you share it to.]

[Anachronistic Remnant of a Long-forgotten Past (Veldanyr)] (Title)

Rarity: Legendary

Through a long series of coincidences and fates, you have inherited the blood of the old humans that used to dominate the world of Veldanyr in the past, even though you are part of the current generation of humans living on Veldanyr.

Because of this, you are considered an anachronistic remnant of a past that has been long-forgotten by many, an anomaly that shouldn’t have existed according the one that theorized your existence. Nevertheless, you still live, with this title serving as proof of your convoluted existence.

Effects:

> 3% boost to all stats

> 5% boost to your maximum HP and MP

[Note: Though some would be accepting or indifferent to your convoluted existence, some may hunt you down to the ends of time for the same reason. Be vigilant and cautious as to who you share it to.]

———

“…Huh.” Even though most of the description regarding the two titles were something the young man was expecting, the fact that the two titles came along with notes that warned him gave Valyr an ominous feeling.

‘Are these notes perhaps warning me about the two Arbiters?’ Pondering over plausible reasons as to why the notes were there, the young man soon felt that the ones that tormented Vaughn were the most likely possibility.

Of course, the young man also thought about a few other people who might react differently to the reaction, such as Mystia, the elders making up the Imperial Production Guild’s Ancestral Council, or the clan where his body came from.

“On second thought, Mystia would probably be glad to find this out,” thought Valyr to himself out loud after that. “I don’t know about the others, though.”

Aside from the ominous warnings attached to the end of their descriptions, the titles he obtained from Vaughn were more or less around the same level as the titles he got from Sellifer, with the only difference being the rarity of the titles themselves.

“I’ll have to remind myself of those warnings from time to time.” Making a mental note to himself, Valyr soon closed the remaining screens before him as he thought about what to do next.

“I could either head to Julian right now, or I could head to Noel,” muttered Valyr to himself, rubbing his chin in contemplation. “I could also take a look at my skills to get a better sense of what they’re capable of…”

“They don’t really take that much time to look through, after all.” Just as he had made up his mind on what he was going to do next, Valyr was interrupted as he felt vibrations coming from his spatial bracelet.

Taking a look to see what was causing the vibration, the young man quickly found out that it came from the talisman Vaughn had given him, informing him that the man had something to tell him.

“I guess the two of them are finally done talking,” said Valyr with a smile as he looked at the talisman.

With that, he soon infused a bit of his mana into the talisman, allowing Valyr to hear Vaughn’s voice in his mind once more.
