Continuing to watch the fight between Valyr and the Myth-level Void Rabbit from afar, Sellifer gradually began to realize the shortcomings of the young man’s combat prowess.
Though he had the ability to fight against foes far greater than him in both level and strength with the help of his skills, he swiftly turned into an arrow at the end of its flight once those skills ran out.
Then again, even if she were consider them as shortcomings, she was only considering them as such due to the current situation.
If Valyr didn’t refrain from using the arquebus to fight against the Myth-level Void Rabbit, or if he had access to the peculiar skill that he used in his previous fight, he was certain he would have defeated this new opponent of his without much issues.
“Unfortunately, he doesn’t have access to the latter, nor would he make use of the former right now,” murmured Sellifer to herself, only for fear to soon appear on her face.
Seeing Valyr being sent flying with just a casual slap from the Void Rabbit, the woman immediately roused her energy, preparing herself to whisk the young man away to safety at a moment’s notice.
Though, before she could even act, the young man dodged the next series of attacks the Void Rabbit sent at him, moving away like a slithering snake as he increased the distance between them.
“He’s definitely powerful enough to fight Rank 5 class holders and defeat them,” she said to herself as she wondered what Valyr would do next, finding the current situation nothing short of miraculous with the great disparity in strength between the two.
“Against Myths, though… if he had a set of skills he could consistently rely on aside from the arquebus and that peculiar skill, he’d probably be able to fight them as well.”
With Sellifer continuing with her current train of thought, she soon recalled the single point of damage Valyr dealt to the Void Rabbit.
With that being the result of landing a normal attack on his opponent, she then wondered what kind of damage he would be able to unleash if he were to use an offensive skill.
Fortunately, the answer to her question did not take long to arrive as Valyr decided that it was due time for him to retaliate.

Then, aiming his head towards the opponent that was seemingly mocking him, he let out the strongest gust of air he could, immediately transforming into a maelstrom of flames that engulfed the Void Rabbit.

Hearing the Void Rabbit finally let out a pained cry as a result of his attacks, Valyr began to smile as he took out a health and mana potion from his spatial bracelet.
Consuming both in one go, he then brandished his spear as he felt himself return to stable conditions, thrusting out the spear with all of the force he could muster towards the Void Rabbit’s head.

With the cry of a prideful dragon accompanying his thrust, the blood-red spear struck true on the Void Rabbit’s head, bursting out with the characteristic dark blue of Prime Azure Energy. Bang!

Surprisingly, the force behind the attack was enough to send the Void Rabbit tumbling for quite some time, giving the young man time to catch his breath as the former eventually crashed against a tree.
“That… was refreshing.” Finally seeing his attacks deal considerable damage to his foe, Valyr immediately felt a large weight being removed from his shoulders as the smile on his face turned wider.
Briefly taking a look at his health and energy reserves, Valyr downed yet another set of health and mana potions before using [Advanced Regeneration] to top up the former.
Inwardly letting out a sigh of relief after that, the young man then took a look at his armor, wryly smiling as noticing that part of his chestplate had crumpled in on itself from the Void Rabbit’s casual attack.
“Note to self. Don’t engage against the Void Rabbit in close combat,” muttered the young man to himself as he watched the Void Rabbit get up on its feet.
Seeing the rabbit’s expression take on immense fury, Valyr flashed a mocking smile at it before pointing his spear downwards.
“Thankfully, I have a lot of skills that allow me to do just that.”

Imbuing his spear once more with Prime Azure Energy, Valyr soon swung his spear upwards, allowing the energy contained within it to burst out into a wave of shimmering dark blue
energy.
Not long after, this wave of energy took on a different form, turning into a great number of azure tigers that all seemed intent on killing the Void Rabbit.

Hearing these azure tigers let out a roar in unison, the Void Rabbit was forced to shift its attention towards them as it felt that their power was far greater than what Valyr could
unleash.
Redirecting its anger towards the tigers, the Void Rabbit shot out a maelstrom of bolts, raining them down on the azure tigers.
Unsurprisingly, with its high stats, a considerable portion of the azure tigers had been destroyed because of the bolts.
Yet, a few still remained standing amidst all of that, seemingly dodging the barrage of dark bolts being sent down their way as they soon arrived at the Void Rabbit’s body.

Though the strength of the skill had been weakened due to the Void Rabbit interrupting it, the azure tigers that were able to land their hits on it were still able to deal considerable damage to it, causing it to let out a pained squeak once more.

Now feeling that the tables have been turned to the point it felt it was being toyed with, the Void Rabbit let out some of its energy into its surroundings, dispersing all of the azure tigers that threatened to attack it in an instant.
Then, seeing that Valyr was the only one that remained after that, the Void Rabbit flew into a rage and used all of its agility to swiftly close the gap.
Imbuing some of its energy as it seemingly connected with the world surrounding them, the rabbit raised both of its paws in hopes of dealing a truly devastating blow to the young man
that it irked it.
Yet, before it could even do so, the young man had made his move, causing time to instantly
freeze in place.
