Chapter 367: Spear of Noctem
Chapter 367: Spear of Noctem
My heart was tranquil, as the sea in which I walked upon. My soul, however, was burning with the flames of Hellfire.
Ignoring the ships that surrounded the island, the tranquil ocean of my mind began to boil. How long had it been? How long had it been since she was taken? A billion? A trillion, endless eons? Who the hell can say? I did not remember how long, for all I could remember was her warm smile.
Stepping past the ships that held the sigil of a bleeding sun, their expression did not register within my eyes.
“Lilith,” I whispered to myself, raising my head towards the vague image of a castle surrounded by a heavy mist.
“Arsene?” A familiar voice called, but my steps did not waver. They would not stop. The more I advanced, the stronger my heart began to thunder from my chest.
Opening my left hand, a small milky with orb was handed to me by Anya. “Please get my master back!” She pitifully muttered with longing.
Overflowing with a rich divinity, I stared at the orb that had drained the divinity for the valkyries for the past nine years. It was searing hot to the touch, shivering to be set free.
“Arsene!”
“Arsene!”
“Arsene!”
Hearing my name repeated by countless people, I did not turn, not now. Not when I could smell her blood in the air. I will not be my uncle! I will not lose her! Not now, not ever!”
Reaching near the shores of Yu’drol, the mist began to clear, and my legs came to a swift halt at the singular tremor that ran through me. I could see Soloman and Sitri upon the balcony, but it was my wife that had captured my attention.
“Sitri!” I bellowed that bastard’s name till the skies began to shake, and the mark upon my shoulder started to erupt with a power that caused the very laws to shiver.
“For our Master,” Falis fearfully muttered on one knee, “It’s the Primordial Drew, crafted from our blood. Heal our Master!”
Sending a side glance towards him, the ring of bael sucked in the vail of drew, while the spear sigil took the orb of divinity.
Taking in a deeper breath of air and qi, my eyes shifted into an inferno of flames from the depts of the Hells. As I roared his name so hard, the mark upon my shoulder vanished, causing night once more to descend upon this fucking realm.
“Sitri!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hearing his laughter, he soared towards me as if he was a noble bird. His smile was crooked, and his eyes were shimmering amusement.
“Arsene Snow,” he said, but my attention was upon my wife.
I could hear the air flowing from her neck, which was still spilling blood. She could not even speak as her vocal cords, eyes, nose, skin, hair, and even some fingers were removed. Her bones shattered in various places, yet she stood still, with three large spikes pricing into her two shoulds and another one within her skull.
I had wished to speak, to hold her, but I chose to smile simply. It was all I could do… All I could do right now.
“You like her? Even as a deformity of a beast, she still has it. Don’t you think?” Sitri savagely taunted.
Releasing air from my lungs, I shifted my attention, taking another step towards the prince of hell. “All of you retreat.” I coldly warned.
“One more step!” He swiftly commented, “one more step, and your trial will commence.”
Never losing my smile, the sea froze as all forms of heat vanished. Casually stepping on the land, I felt the presence of a strange domain, attempting to touch upon my dantian.
“Welcome to the Isle of Yu’drol, Arsene snow.” Sitri crackled in laughter. “you must be confused as to why you cannot feel any type of Qi?”He asked, hoping I would care to reply. “Well, it’s simple. This is what one calls the Domain of Heaven, and it’s where one rules supreme similar to Sitri or Asmodeus.”
Hoisting my palm within the air, Sitri sneered, “It’s no use. Within my domain, you will be left without a weapon, qi, or—”
“Head my call!” I commanded towards heaven as a single beam of pure sovereignty tore through the heavens falling at a rate where time simply did not exist. Crashing into my palm, it appeared within reality for the first time since its creation.
Sucking all the color from Heaven and Earth, a devilish light awoke to the heavens followed by a hummed that demanded recognition. Humming with its power towards the heavens, my night began to fade, but with its fading grace came The Judgment of Heavens Wrath.
“I am not here for your trial, Sitri.” I muttered, swiping The Spear of Noctem to my side; I continued, “No. far from it, actually. Pray. Pray to God! Pray to the Father! From today onwards, your torment will be known to all.
“I-I-I-Impossible!” He absently mindedly whispered, “That is impossible! Unlesss. That blade… your name. You a soul bender bounded a weapon to himself, but your Qi. How can it still function?”
Holding no words that needed to be said, knowing that Qi was not something that could be sealed by a domain, I released a breath of air. Tracing my gaze across Sitri, a feeling of absolute control grew within my heart.
Feeling the infinite influx of knowledge I gather from the Flames of Hellfire within my eyes, burning with horrifying intent. A single crackle shattered the skies.
BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Shaking the very core of Midgard with its unimaginable vigor, I felt the land shattered beneath my feet as the power began to grow.
Grim to the very bone, Sitri bore his fangs like a rabid dog, “You! You fucking dare! You would call upon Aldrich! By the Hells!” He screamed, struggling to hold in his building rage.
Crackling with booming thunder, heavenly lightning began to rage across the Vast Expanse as I laughed as I did that Year. I laughed and laughed till my eyes began to bleed as they did before.
When all of a sudden, shattering noise rang from inside, breaking apart the doors to Heavenly Realm, the Path of Abyssal Night shone within my mind as I followed its verse. “Swallow the Night, and reveal The All. See towards the One, Hidden within the Veil of The All.”
Bleeding dark black blood from my eyes, I roared with laughter as the booming of the heavens began to take form. Growing into an all-expansive nebula, a heavenly judgment appeared.
