Chapter 382: Devil's Flash
Chapter 382: Devil’s Flash
Circling the nine bandits trembling in fear, the Spear of Noctem appeared within my hands. Chilling the air with its presence, when the Slov’Ca in which I sat upon became still.
“A Chosen?” Li Gu, the second strongest, muttered as Lilith blade nicked his neck.
“Did I allow you to speak?” She patiently inquired, causing a shiver to run down his spine.
“AAAAH~”
Hearing the screams of Delao and his body squirming on the muddy road, I did not smile at the man whose arms were missing at the shoulder. It was strange; I had the urge to torture, to ruin, yet, doing so brought me no joy.
“You’re a dead man! Your fucking dead, you hear me!” Delao roared in tears, “Do you know who we are!? Who we fucking represent? No matter where you go upon the Swords Coast, they will find your ass!”
“Speak another word, and I’ll have these horses fuck you till all that is left is a mesh of flesh.” I coldly told, peering down with a hollow heart. “Your life is of no meaning to me.”
“Abaddon?” Lilith called, catching my attention. “You Ok?”
Confused by what she meant, I simply nodded, not putting much thought into it. Dismounting the Slov’Ca, I held my gaze upon Delao as I felt towards the mud. However, as if it knew my intent, the Darkness itself parted the soil around me.
“I need a map,” I stated, walking towards Delao, who was bleeding out upon Alos. Bearing down, the Spear of Noctem began to shimmer with flame-like Darkness.
“Screw you!” he bravely roared, causing a chuckle to escape my lips. “ATTACK!!! Kill EM ALL BOYS!”
BOOOM!!!!
Shooting towards me, Li Gu, who Lilith simply allowed to go, tore through the air gripping a longsword. Feeling a powerful sword intent spiraling from his very fiber, I narrowed my gaze. Taking a single side step allowing a massive gust of sword intent to pass me by. Taking the time, I trace the powerful sword intent that rendered the forest around us a valley with its power.
Surprised by my swift response, the Spear of Noctem within my hands suddenly blurred. Vanishing from even my perception, it melded into the Darkness. However, to my surprise, a massive shield suddenly appeared.
DING!!!
Blasting him away, Li Gu’s expression twisted into an ugly grimace, “What the hell are you all waiting for! Kill him now!” He roared as the massive golden ethereal barrier faded away.
Feeling a shutter of excitement trickle down my bones, Lilith covered her lips, “They’re all yours!” she exclaimed, cheering me on.
Arching my lips at her waving and cheering, I shadowed step behind Li Gu, sending my hands forth with a powerful spear intent. Piercing through his chest, blood gust from where his heart should have been.
Turning towards me with horror, the spear within my hands twisted like a serpent of hell, severing his arms and legs in one swift motion before he had the chance even to scream or beg. Falling apart before me, I stepped over his still-warm body towards the eight men still able to fight.
Glancing at my hand, not even covered with blood, I suddenly slapped my head, “I am supposed to be training my demonic Artes.”
“Monster!” Deleo roared in panic, “You really are a chosen! Who are you! What sect do you hail from?”
Taking a deep breath, a blood-red glow began to rise for my palms as the flame soul of Li Gu appeared within my hand. Feeling his fear within my palms, a horrid power began to radiate off of my body, causing the skies to part at its vigor.
Burning the very soul till all that was left was nothing more than a core, the screams of Li Gu came and went like a breeze. Yet, what remained was inhuman pressure that covered the forest in a hellish nightmare.
“Devils Flash,” I muttered when all of a sudden, my mind locked onto all eight people. It was like they were the only thing within my sights.
With my targets set, my body flashed, moving faster than I had before a crimson beam of light zoomed. Everything at that moment had become stalled yet heavy. The winds stung like daggers. The light burned my corneas. Even the water within the atmosphere began to prickle at my flesh. However, all of that simply lasted a moment, a single moment, as my body tore into a field of crimson.
Coming to a halt, a responding pressure rashed into my body, causing the ground to echo out, but with it came The Rain, a rain of fog upon the land as all eight bodies vanished.
“Wow! Fuck! That was!” I shouted out, utterly overwhelmed by this Inheart Arte. “Holy Shit, that was OP! Did you see that, Lilith? Was I moving at light speed?”
“No, but you were not far from it!” Lilith Cheered, “If you added your intent into it, I am sure you will pass the light barrier.”
“Light Barrier? Is that a thing?”
“It’s what we call it when one breaks past the speed of light after that is the Space Barrier than Time Barrier. What type of Arte was that?”
“It’s Call Devil Flash. By burning a soul or multiple souls, I am given a single burst of power, however, to reach and kill my designated target. It’s strong, but it has a few weaknesses, like tunnel vision, and I cannot do much during the rush. Should someone catch me off guard during this Arte, I am definitely taking a hit, assuming they are not one of my targets.
“Any other restrictions?” she probed, leaping on to me with burning lust.
“hmmm, I guess the number of souls I can burn at one. This was just the first level, but the more souls I burn, the stronger the Flash becomes, but so too does the strain upon my body. I have to test out how many souls I can use till I literally blow up.”
“Well, your average battle prowess is around Low Demi-God, adding soul force its High demi-God. I say we try finding a mid-Demi beast to kill.” Lilith suggested as I spun her around.
“You think it will be just like so forever?”
“Who can say, I hear it is almost impossible for gods to kill those above their realm,” Lilith said as I placed her down. “But for now, let’s focus on this little insect.”
ARchign her lips, Lilith giggled, “Are you really going to let these Slov’Ca have their way with him?” she asked, pointing towards the man whose trousers were already soiled. Taking note of the tears flowing endlessly, I nodded without care.
“Why not? He already made a lubricant. It’s like he is asking to be raped!”
