Chapter 606: Lemuria Sol Devaia - The Badlands
Chapter 606: Lemuria Sol Devaia – The Badlands
Descending to my knees, within the Temple of The New Order, crafted no more than a hundred years ago. I lowered my head to the faint image of my master, The Mystic Grace of Wonder, Seraphina. "Your bidding has been done. There was no demonic essence on Asura or Amilia Bloodgrave. They appear clean."
"The tricks of a devil are endless," she muttered, unable to hide the heartbreak that touched my own heart.
"Hidden in the shadows, it was your kin who inspected these two. I may have fought them, but I believe they are clean and I am sure your breatheren will agree." I gently uttered, arching my head to gaze upon the frail image of Master Sera's lonely back, lighting incense.
"And Kurt?"
"There was an issue. Sigfried was also there, so we could not push him as far, although it would seem like their battle prowess is at the Peak of Master. It will not be long before these two become Lords." I informed, peering up towards the statue of Raziel, opening his hands to creation. There was a solemn orderly aura around the Heavenly Lords statue. Crossing my eyes over his imperial grace, I felt I was laid bare before him.
"Do you think it is due to Arsene's involvement that their power has grown so much? The Night is changing. A Dao cycle will wipe away the Old Laws in less than a single cycle, and the time of Arsene Snow's Darkness will be upon the Bed of Chaos, etching into the Sacred Haven of Iluthath. Once that happens, Arsene will be fully realized Monarch of Darkness, holding onto at least one Concept." She softly said, turning her head; that took my breath away with her sacred beauty that radiated like the starry heavens.
"What will you have us do?" I asserted. Lifting my fist, I placed it over my chest.
"Burn it all down," She uttered when a chill so profound I felt my heart trembled race down my spine like a killer's knife teasing me till he went in for the kill.
"My Lady?'
"Burn it all down, Lemuria Sol Devaia." Seraphina calmly declared as if what she was talking about was nothing. "The entirety of the Bed of Chaos. As we speak, the Laws of Concordance, the very core of us angels, are being molded in the Father's image. We need not the children of this Chaos, nor the aged. We need not the Bed of Chaos anymore."
"Surely you jest?" I asked, utterly horrified. Death was one thing but exterminating an entire Greater Realm was asking too much.
"Two Arch-Angels are dead!" She thundered, shattering the ground creating trenches like webs all throughout the temple," and now there is a prophecy, Arsene declared in a porno of the fall of Angels Blood." Glaring at me with her eyes gleaming supremacy held by Elder Gods, I hastily lowered my head. "Burn the heavens of Aldrich, and flush him out of hiding. It doesn't matter who he once was. His reign is over."
"And what of Soloman?"
"His power rivals a peak prince of hell bearly touching upon a king. If he dears show his face, I will personally! Cleave him in twain!" Seraphina interjected with a swift bark. "The Overworld is almost in our hands. All that will be left will be the Badlands, home of the depraved, and the Myriad. Not even the Devils would dare dismiss them."
"There is no lord or ruler within the Badlands, your grace. It's a realm of pure Chaos. Chaos ensues at every level. All they can see is the game, not the lives that are taken." I fearfully muttered, if there ever was a Plane one should fear, it was the Badlands.
They see everything as a game, and quite literally, it is. I have heard tales of the carnage those madmen would go through just to gain 'exp' as they call it—the land of systems. Of all the Twelve Planes, the Badlands resembled the Hells more than any other. Every Ruler or Manoarch to exist was torn asunder by those filled by greed. None lasted more than a thousand Dao cycles.
"You needn't worry about such things, Lemuria. The era of demons and Devils is over. All that is being asked of you is your assistance. The Destruction of the Bed of Chaos is but the first step. In twenty years. Our war will commence, and nothing is off-limits." She sinisterly declared, stirring my soul.
"As you command," I hesitantly accepted. Knowing there was no turning back, I could only hope my home was left alone. Aether was, without a doubt, a land of magic. If the angels dare attack, we are sure we could seal our land like the Astral Sea and Oblivion.
Finding a smile over her sacred face, Seraphina nodded, "Have Asura and Amilia taken into the fold once they return. Talent like theirs is hard to come by, especially in this god-forsaken realm. Now, Divine Artifacts have already begun to gather. By the time Asura and Amilia return to the holy swords, you will be granted a relic from our archives."
"By then, the war will have started," I muttered as I could feel Sera nod.
"Go make your peace with your kin. It may very well be the last time you see them in a long time. I suspect they may not even recognize you once you return. If you return." She said, shaking her head. She vanished, leaving my sight.
Taking in a deep breath, bitterness touched my lips as I glanced upon the statue of the Heavenly Lord, Raziel. Shaking my head a little dismissively, I teleported back to the Orlin, our ship. Standing near the terrace on deck, laughter and cheers ran over my ears as my people cheered vibrantly.
"You should have seen them, captain! What was his name? Armon? Arken? It doesn't really matter. I gutted that fucker, like a fish." A harsh-sounding voice of Savi cried out, bellowing in laughter. "You should have seen him. I tell you, the Bed of Chaos is filled with retards I tell you."
Chuckling at the wild fool lifting his tankard of ale, he turned to me and crackled with laughter, "Lemu! Your back! Ya, Father is looking for you. He just appeared. Better pacify him soon."
Rolling my eyes I could not help but smile, "Sure thing."
