Monarch of Darkness, Arsene

Chapter 946 Lilith Snow - Zantar Vs Abyss

My heart turned to stone as I leaped into the air having felt Arsene connect to me. My instincts suddenly began to howl as an arrow zoomed through the skies at a burrowing speed that surpassed the concept of time.

But without doing anything, my Abyssal Children all flashed to my side. Victoria stared at the arrow and opened her palm catching the arrow, as her palm bled with deadly intent. Her eyes glowed, and with an unmatched will, the arrow suddenly began to burn, blazing with the dao of the cosmos. She poured the full force of the Abyssal Race into the arrowhead, causing Almighty essence to bleed from the frame as Victoria fired the arrow back.

A terrifying shockwave bellowed as the arrow pierced through the laws, and hundreds of mountain ranges were wiped out in a blink of an eye.

“Sorry for being late.” Ava and Victoria said, bowing respectfully.

Noting the frown on the Ilthad through the eyes of Arsene, I snickered and flashed to my Mother. However, before I had even moved ten meters, I felt a blade against my neck, and hairs on me rose on end, halting me.

“You can die,”

Flipping on ‘Into the Abyss, my feet danced as Zantar appeared, whipping both a sword and spear around. Swinging at empty air, I narrowly dodged his strikes, and yet as our eyes met, my instincts screamed, as a horrid aura of a star gravity pressed upon my shoulders, forcing me back down. 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝒏𝙤𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝙤𝒎

“Necrotic Howl,” The Fallen roared, releasing a cry of a bellowing dragon that disintegrated away the very fabric of reality, leaving only concepts that acted to repair the broken laws.

Stretching hundreds of kilometers and catching hundreds in its trap, I acted almost instinctually and hoisted Laevatein to my chest.

“Seal.” Came the cry that echoed from the core of my being, rattling the hairs on my neck already soaked with sweat; the encompassing wail Zantar released was devoured.

“Pale Dance,” Ava uttered swiftly, piercing through the endless flow of necrotic energy wielding Seraphic Qi as though she was an Angel; her scythe suddenly swayed into that of a dagger, resembling the one I’d seen Azazel wield.

My pale little rider clashed with Zantar in an equal battle of linear skill, flashing as her strikes carried the purest forms of death imaginable.

“To slow!” Zantar howled, swiping a cold kick in a moment; an opening was presented, but Victoria was quick to cover her sister as she appeared like a cruel icy phantom dawn in armor I’d only seen on demons, blocking his strike with a shield parry.

Pushed off-balanced, Ava followed through with her strike, ready to sever the neck of Zantar but the angel’s wings suddenly glowed deadly seraphic light as a magical gold barrier appeared, blasting Ava away before she could retreat.

BOOOOM!

Blood dwindled against her nose, but Ava, who I could both feel and see, pushed out of the rubble with a bloody nose and blasted herself off the mountain she’d crashed.

Into the Abyss had pushed them to Paragon’s highest level, their Abyssal bodies could take them, but even so, they were still outclassed. By Zantar, an elder god and second class Paragon ebbing to the third.

“Loathsome children. Just accept your death with grace. There isn’t a need to defend yourself. I am sure my lord will resurrect you as one of his knights or grand generals.”

I snorted, “you like to talk, don’t you? Or are you forgotten where there are two? There are four of us Abyssal Fiends.”

The air suddenly turned cold, and all intent suddenly stretched to the heavens as a pale fiend glaring down with burning red eyes revealed herself. An azure sigil shimmering with an iciness that made even me with Laevatein stand on end.

“Palace of God!”

“Julius!” I cried as a shadow whipped out of the void in a blinding speed of light the moment the sigil came alive, and the world laws froze, carrying about the concept of emptiness.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

Thrown from the air into the earth, I groan as a cruel backlash struck my body, stripping the air from my lungs.

A harsh cough came and went as I pushed myself out of the rubble and looked up at the massive pillar of ice that suddenly shattered into azure embers. Then the enormous gash stretched to the city of Lorrain, hundreds of millions of kilometers away.

Not seeing anyone, I didn’t dare drop my guard as Elsa flashed to my side alongside Julius with cold icy bearings.

“My queen. This one seems out for blood.” Teased Julius, ‘Do you mind if I asked what you did by chance?”

“I have no idea. Gods, I feel like Sene.” I pitifully said, entirely annoyed by Zantar: “This wasn’t fair in the least. There are five of us, and he’s still alive.”

The skies suddenly lit up, and from the void, a blood-stained Zantar appeared with a gash that seemed like a flesh wound over the shoulder.

Snorting, I dashed towards this bastard as hundreds of sigils filled the skies, and with a snap, bolts of light flashed like lightning. Still, without a care, I danced around the various rays of death, batting them away with ease or allowing Laevatein to devour the Seraphic or Necrotic Qi.

Entering the range of Zantar, Laevatein began to glow as I called upon the Demonic Mother’s very soul. My blade hissed through the air, deteriorating the fabric of the Abyss.

DING!!!!!!!

He parried my first stroke, but without fail, a flurry of strikes suddenly swift over the battlefield.

DING!!!!!!! DING!!!!!!! DING!!!!!!!DING!!!!!!! DING!!!!!!! DING!!!!!!!

Soaring endlessly around the world at speeds I could not even believe I was traveling at, Zantar and my blades crossed over and over as I learned not his fighting style but began to master his sword’s flow. With the help of all the Abyss behind ‘Into the Abyss,’ Drawn out fights were guaranteed to be mine.

Hands bloodied and bones surely shattered, Zantar howled, with a panicked look, as he met with my blazing sword, ” You are not the only one with–”

“Retreat, my faithful knight.” Balor’s booming voice came.

But I wasn’t going to let this stand.

Without care, five extra versions of myself appeared one by one through the fabric of time, trapping this fool with the help of Izavith’s foot technique.

“DIE!!” I howled.

SNAP!
