“If you decided to stay, come meet us at this address,” said Ruib and handed me a crystal cast, which had his aura imbued on it.
“I will,” I replied.
“I hope we will see each other again, Mark,” said Meral, and flew away with Ruib. I looked at them disappear, before walking out of the ship, into the huge city.
It is even bigger than Halis.
The ship had reached Marlin a few minutes ago; it took a day long, but that is expected with a bandit attack.
I stopped at the gates and showed id and other documents before entering the city proper.
I planned to stay in the city for around two days. I could leave early, if I finished with all my business, or stay a little more, if I am not.
There are a couple of things I have to do here. First and foremost, of all, buy the information on the route to Javelin City. I have information, but this is a different region. What I will get here would be more detailed.
I also have to buy things.
I have given them a long list of things I want.
A small percentage among that huge list is rare and precious, but all of them are very important to me. I hope they will be able to get me the majority of them as they had promised.
I didn’t find a place to stay immediately. Instead, I went to the travelers’ guild to get the information.
Four hours later, I am in front of the small inn. It may be small, but cost a lot and only serve the Sovereigns.
I went inside and booked myself a suit, while my clones review the information brought from the several guilds.
Trusting a single source is not wise. I needed to pay a little more, but I got the information I wanted.
It is not just a road, but information on bandits, conflicts, and politics, between the cities and the organizations, whose territories I would need to cross to reach Javelin city.
Looking at all the details, I should be able to reach there within a month. More than a month earlier, than the deadline.

I went inside the suit and found it beautifully decorated in pastel colors.
I looked around for a few minutes before taking a shower and going down to the first floor.
When I came, I smelled something good.
I couldn’t just keep eating the food made from my hand. I need to taste the food that others made, too.
Soon, I reached the ground floor and ordered the food. It came within ten minutes and ate alone while listening to the conversation around me, or rather snooping.
Since the inn only serves Sovereigns, who are powerful enough to cloak their conversation.
I snooped shamelessly, and it is bad, but as long as they didn’t find out. Their sacred conversation would be theirs alone.
The dinner was delicious. So much so that I ordered the second and decided to buy the local cookbooks and ingredients.
Each region is unique, and if I want to take my culinary skills forward. I need to keep learning new things and experimenting.
I am doing that with a massive collection of cookbooks and other culinary manuals the library has, but I have to take something from the real world too.
“Thank you,” I said to my server and walked to my suit.
As I reach there, I lay down on the bed a moment later. I am in my core and the first thing I saw is my clone experimenting with the broken alom pearl.
It had been doing that since the moment I got it and learned many things.
The Alom Pearl at the sky sovereign level is at a completely different level than those of Primary-III and Sovereign. It could amazing thing, more than I had thoughts it would.
It turned out, it also has a greater synergy with bubbling tar soul, just like the lower levels pearl have.
The testing and experimentation will continue for a while. I need to know everything it could do before I start designing the abode.
I helped out for an hour before walking into the library, where five of the clones working on the inheritance as usual.
I am making progress steadily. My progress is not slowing, even with new ideas. Instead, it seemed to make it faster.
I am incorporating new ideas after testing them. It is not just the ideas I am incorporating, but also the formations I am changing, with stronger and more efficient ones.
Thanks to the ancient runes, which are deepening my knowledge of the common runes.
My understanding of them is enriching rapidly. It is kind of amazing.
The night passed quickly, and the day came; after breakfast and finishing with the treatments, I walked out of the inn, and a few minutes later; I am standing in front of a huge tower.
It is a huge store, one of the biggest in the whole marlin.
“I am Mark. I have an appointment with Mr. Hemyl,” I said to the receptionist.
“Yes. Mr. Mark, Harlo, will take you to his office,” said the woman, and a man with a blue horn appeared and led me inside.
Two and a half minutes later, I am in the office, with the view beautiful view of the city.

“Mr. Hemyl will be without you shortly,” said the small-horned man, and left. It took little more than ten minutes for the old monkey beastman to come.
“Sorry for the delay. I was busy with something important,” he said as he took the seat and the officer with me the chair opposite of him.
“Have you got it?” I asked, to which he smile and slid the ring toward me.
Fifteen minutes later, I walked out of his office with a smile on my face. He didn’t do much better than I had imagined; I have given him a really long list, and he had able to able to acquire 94% of it.
That is nine thousand, six hundred fifty-seven different kinds of resources.

When I got out, there was a huge smile on my face.
I have now got everything I would need for the next breakthrough. My treatments, both forbidden and strength, also the stuff practicing alchemy and artifice.
I had a thorough of finding a cave and sealing myself there, till I came out making the breakthrough into the Sovereign stage.
Of course, I am not going to do that. I may have resources and all the data I need, but seclusion is the right choice. It is for some people, and I do it for a short period, but I couldn’t do it for long ones.
I would go crazy.
Not to mention there is an opportunity waiting for me in Javelin City.
It seemed kind of important, more than I had originally thought. Even here, the people are whispering about it.
It made me quite curious, and I wanted to investigate it, but I controlled myself. I didn’t feel doing it would be wise.
