3419 Leaving
It was late in the morning when I woke up. I didn’t immediately leave the bed and stayed, thinking.
The door will open in the evening, and I will leave through it.
There are still a few hours aside from the treatments and last visit to the javelin tower. I didn’t have to do much of anything.
I didn’t plan to do anything. I have done everything I have wanted in the month and a half I had been here, including shopping.
A lot and lots of it.
I was also able to do the treatments; both of forbidden energy and the strengthening. Which had increased my strength, but not as much as the Grimms had.
For others, the benefits these treatments are providing me are immense, but to me, they are frustratingly slow.
It is not just the strength treatments, but also those of forbidden power. It had been over four months since I had made a breakthrough, but was not able to finish with even a quarter of the progress.
That incident on the wall had stretched my limit beyond.
It is the best thing I hope to get, and I have benefitted tremendously, as a bigger limit has brought more strength; not to mention the forbidden power that merged into me.
I wouldn’t have such strength, I have, if not for that incident, but it also has increased my problems. I have got a big limit and it will only keep increasing with every breakthrough.
The methods I have would be fine right now, but they wouldn’t be enough when I make the next breakthrough.
If I succeeded, I would have an enormous challenge in front of me.
It would have been great if Grimms have been available at a fixed place. I could have just gone there, but even they would only help with half of the problem.
They could help with my strength, but couldn’t do much with the forbidden power treatments.
I have to find something better than the methods I am using. If I don’t want to spend years and years to reach completion.
I am trying, but till now, wasn’t able to find anything. That will give me the efficacy and speed I wanted, but I will keep searching.
There are methods there that will help me. I only need to find them or invent them. There are no other options than that.
A few minutes later, I shook my head and got out of bed.
After freshening up and showering, I went to the kitchen and begin to cook myself a brunch. I finished within an hour before setting the plates on the table.
It feels a little lonely to eat alone, but Blain is not here.
She lets me feel her presence if she is around.
I finished up the lonely brunch in record time before starting with my treatments.
By the time I finished with treatments and shower. It was time for me to leave; it was only afternoon, but I have a thing to do.
Hun!
I was looking at the place; I lived for more than a month and didn’t want to leave when I had sensed Blain.
A few seconds later, she materialized beside me.
She didn’t say anything and gently placed her hand on my shoulder. Immediately, I felt myself moving at an extremely fast speed.
A couple of seconds later, we stopped in front of a familiar door and Blain pushed it open.
There Madam June was sitting in a chair, looking at her daughter.
She turned to us, and her eyes got focused on Blain, where her gaze turned slightly complicated for a moment before a small smile appeared on her face.
“You are leaving today, right, Healer Brock?” she asked. We have never truly discussed it directly, but they already know I am leaving with attaining the pass and selling the other one to her husband.
“Yes,” I replied.
“I wish you best of the luck and I hope you will return to Javelin,” she said.
“Thank you, Lady June,” I replied, and she smiled. There is no mirth in it. She is also understood. I will not be returning to Javelin unless I sent it out.
Which I hope wouldn’t happen. I need to reach the sermon palace. It is my destination and the destination of all people entering through the door in the evening.
Though, reaching it is quite a challenge.
The divine realm didn’t want to serve the opportunity on a silver platter. They want you to earn it and from what I heard; it is very well worth it.
People are willing to pay an exorbitant price for it.
I turned to the unconscious woman and walked toward her. A few seconds later, strings came out of my hand and connected to the formation, and I closed my eyes.
A couple of minutes later, I opened my eyes and turned.
“Everything is good with formation. It is working as it should be,” I said, Lady June just nodded and looked at her daughter, where there is no change.

I could see the woman trying to tame the insect and how hard it is, but she is not giving up. Well, it’s only been a week and she might need to try for weeks, months, or even years.
Four and a half years, to be exact.
This is all the time she has before the consciousness of the insect becomes strong enough that it couldn’t be tamed.
I didn’t tell them that, but if she didn’t succeed in four and a half years. The formation will stop on its own, with a simple message.
I hope it didn’t come to that and she succeeds, but the chance of that happening is slim.
A few hours passed, and I walked out of the Javelin tower; I met with Governor and also the people who are going inside from Javelin and the organization it belongs to.
Including a Sky Sovereign.
Governor was supposed to go, but he canceled a few days ago and now they are sending another Sky Sovereign.
Their origination has only three, and they could only be sent one through the door.
“Why aren’t you coming? The place will be beneficial for you,” I asked Blain. “I do not need it,” she said softly, with a shake of her head.
It is clear; she is staying for her girlfriend.
I do not say anything to that. It is her decision; I am sure she would have thought about it before making the decision.
Soon, we reached in front of the door; there are already people gathered there. Looking at the door, which is going to open within a few minutes.
There is strict security, stopping all those who have a pass or permission. They could do it now, with pillars deactivating yesterday.
We watched in silence and finally, the moment came, which everybody was waiting for.
The pillars lit up and focused on their light on the marble door, which started to open.
A minute and a half later, the door had fully opened, and a first-person walked toward it.
