Chapter 1887: Servents of Hod

Chapter 1887: Servents of Hod

“You are really a cockroach human, this attack might have easily killed an elite with your strength, but you have survived,” The Bone Snakeman said as it appeared in front of me.

“What can I say? I am special,” I replied as I stabilized myself. “Oh, yes, I can see that, and I am very curious about it,” It said, lazy confidence.

It does not seem to be in a hurry to attack; clear confidence could be seen in its eyes that tell; it is not worried about killing me; it feels that it could kill me whenever it wants.

“I suppose you would not tell me how you defending against my bloodline energy with such ease?” It asked.

“Isn’t it more fun to find that out on your own?” I asked back. “I suppose you are right.” It said, and the blast of violet aura released from its body, making it looked it a small violet storm is brewing, and the Bone Snakeman is its core.

“Violet Charge!”

It said and swung its huge ax at me, its movements were comfortable, and the speed of the ax seemed slow, and top of that, only a faint layer of violet seemed to be covering the ax. If an inexperienced person saw it, they would consider the attack dangerous but dodgeable, seeing the fluctuation and speed of the attack.

I did not dare to think that way; this attack is powerful than the first strike and contained immense energy despite not looking like it, not to mention the speed.

I used every speck of the power I had, everything that was available for me; I had used it as I moved my sword at the defensive stance.

I could see the faint mocking smile appearing on its face, clearly thinking my puny efforts would bore me no fruits. It is not the only one to think that the two humans and three Grimm Monsters also thinking the same; it is quite visible from their gazes.

I did not focus on the other things, I have only one target in my mind, and that is to stay alive till I can kill it, and for it, I will use everything I have, everything.

CLLANNNG!

BANG!

Its ax struck my sword, which sent me crashing into the wall hard. Due to the inches of difference between it and me, I crashed very hard on it that despite the protection of armor, breaking several of my bones, and that is the least of my worries, as a bigger thing than the raw physical force had also hit me.

A tiny bit of violet energy had finally been able to breach my armor and entered inside my body; as it did, it immediately spread through my body.

I activated the containment means, but by the time they took effect, the energy had spread through my whole body, and all I could seal was it. Still, the poison had spread through me and now giving me unimaginable pain as it tried to break through the runic seals.

“Hehe, so your defense is not impregnable after all; it has its limits!” The Bone Snakeman said as the light violet color spread over my body, even the whites of my eyes had turned the light violet. The poison is so strong that it had spared no part of my body.

The poison is too dangerous, and no matter what, I could not let it inside me. I have to give everything; I have to stop it.

“Well, my curiosity about your defense had satiated; it is time to sent you off to hell,” It said and again swung its sword in the same relaxed fashion, but this time, the attack is three times stronger. It seemed like this bastard really did want to send me to heaven.

“Third Boost!”

I said through the greeted teeth, and a sanguine aura shot out of me like a tsunami. I do not like to use this move; it is burning the very essence that could weaken me from inside and give the cursed building inside me an optimal chance to strike, but the attack of Bone Snakeman had left me no choice but to use this forbidden option.

As I burned my blood, a strength like never before began to course through me. It had immediately increased my strength and powered by sensed but also strengthened my armors defenses.

With the power of the Blood Burn, my sword moved from the defensive to the offensive and went at the huge ax of the Bone Snakeman.

CLLANNNG!

Our weapons clashed, and the first time since the battle began, I was able to stop its ax without the slightest shake.

“Human, I did not think you have something good to show, but you did; Essence Burn is not a method that could be learned by any human Tyrant.” It said with clear amazement in its voice.

Unlike the Grimm Monster, who could burn their core whenever they want, humans could not do the same. Normal Tyrants could not execute the essence burn; if they tried, they would burn themselves to deal. Even elites are incapable of using it without causing permanent damage to their foundation.

Only leaders class and above Tyrants could execute it carefully, and they also practice it for years before they are able to do use it in the battle.

I do not have the difficulties as they have due to me is creating my own Inheritance, but it is nonetheless a very dangerous move. While it grants me amazing power, it leaves me weakened afterward, not to forget if I go too far, I will end up damaging my foundation permanently.

“Human, you have shown great courage by burning your essence for it; I will let you die under my most powerful move,” It said, and its aura became calmer, and its expressions became serious with a hint of piousness in them.

“Servants of Hod!”

It roared, and dark violet aura heavy like a mountain and poisonous like datura shot out of it, making me realize how much I had underestimated its strength.
