Chapter 1968: Bloodhare II

Chapter 1968: Bloodhare II

Chew Chew

Ashlyn chirped and flew out of me as I looked around; we seemed to be in a hilly region with vast greenery; it was hard to believe any place would have such greenery when the sun was blazing down from above.

“We are at the Hellas line,” I said after Ashlyn revealed where we are, “That means it would take us about three days to Mylas Campus,” Elina said while looking at a map.

For a few minutes, we discussed the route to go there as there were a couple of them before changes started to appear on our Armor. Her Armor started to go completely black with a violet feather design appearing on the bust, the fiery aura remained, but it had changed its flavor.

Seeing that, my Armor had also changed; it had begun to copy Elina’s Armor; soon, my Armor changed to exactly like elina, down from aura; anyone who sees us would have no doubt that we have a similar bloodline and thus Armor.

“I always feel eerie, seeing how well you could copy me,” Elina said. While copying is not easy, as long as I have enough time, I can do it.

“Let’s go,” I said, and we both shot from our place; the environment of the Bloodhare ruin is harsh but not for us or anyone above the king’s stage. There are also not any powerful monsters like in the other runes; aside from select places, there is barely any danger in this ruin.

These select places, on the other hand, are extremly dangerous; who knows when what formation would activate and turn you into the puddle.

There is also the danger of people; since the war began, this ruin had become one of most heavily trafficked XX category runes, and almost all the people, be it humans or Grimm Monster who had come to this ruin, are those who have a bloodline.

This ruin is also called the bloodline ruin; according to information we have unearthed, this ruin used to be house an organization called Bloodhare; it is an organization that only accepts people with bloodline only and contain resources that helps one purify and upgrade one’s bloodline.

The best thing about this ruin is that this ruin is fairly new, less than a century old. There are a large number of resources that are present in this ruin.

Unlike the other ruins I had visited, this one is not sparse; heavy traffic had been detected by the Pyramid, both humans and Grimm Monsters have come here, without care for the danger, all of them wanting to get their hands on the resources that will make them stronger.

The thing is, the people that have come here are not weak; they could be said to be extremly strong. The weakest are the elites, while the strongest are the Master.

We moved through the hills with amazing speed; with Ashlyn as a guide, I did not have to worry about the hidden or unhidden enemies. She detects them all, and we just have to avoid them; if our luck is good, we will be able to reach the Mylas Campus in two days, not three as Elina had predicted.

The Mylas Campus we are going to is the most dangerous place of this ruin; it is a place where this Bloodhare organization used to research the bloodlines.

That place is not only useful for Elina but also for me; there are more than five reported incidents where people had found the violet burn resin here. It is the same level resource as the divine crystal and could be used in its place to form the core.

I planned to get my hands on it this time; I had been tired of scouring through ruin after ruin. I now just want to focus on the thing I want and focus on the Inheritance.

The war had become even bloody; even after three months, millions were dying by the day, but the people were still fighting with their all, laying their life to protect their race and world, but still, their efforts did not seem to be enough as Grimm Monsters are faintly gaining the edge.

The battle had been fought by the forces of minor continents, except for higher level powerhouses; the Pyramid had not sent the Knights and below to the lower continent.

It will soon happen, not only because of their need but also give them the experience of the real battle and make them improve, so they would help when the battle across the Central Continent begin.

It is in wartime that people improve the most; while we are always fighting, the real war is different. It is thousand times more intense and cruel, and people die like insects, and the most regrettable thing is that we could not do anything about it.

We had to let it rage at its speed while try to infuse maximum fatalities on our enemies, which is much harder than one thinks to be when your enemies have near unlimited numbers.

It took three hours for us to cross the hills, and we entered the desert; as we reached it, we wore the cloaking artifact and flew across it. These cloaking artifacts not only hide us but also mute any type of disturbance we make; they are very good for the environment like the desert.

The only bad thing about them is the consumption of energy, it is huge, and that is why it could only be used for the shortest period of time.

Elina had found them in one of the ruins she had visited, along with different other things. She had said she had got them from some dead guys storage who had been dead for thousands of years.

With the suits on, we flew across the desert; we did not hold back, or rather Elina did not hold back with her speed, while I just matched it. I have to say, she is extremly fast. If I had been at her level, I would have to struggle to fly with her.
