Luke was very breathless with the speed he had to use to dodge and attack the Golem God and strike Suiyan, but in the end, he was happy that he was able to defeat them.

The crowd was in awe at Luke’s agility, and even though he was a half-beast, people exploded in excitement at his victory.

“How the fuck did he manage to dodge that huge thing!!!?”

“Is he really human!!!? Do half-beasts have enhanced reflexes or something?! Why doesn’t anyone talk about it?

“He’s fucking awesome!”

“That was a really good fight! The guy actually managed to defeat someone who has a Summoner using only basic skills!”

“I think this man should think long and wisely before using such a bold title like ‘The Champion’! The guy didn’t even make it to the 16-round this time! Hahaha!”

The Golem God became just a mountain of sand from the moment the Elf collided with the illumination crystal and decayed. Following the guidance that Ayumi passed to him, Luke quickly checked if the boy was okay.

The half-wolf looked around and saw no medical staff, so he opened his inventory and took a healing potion; after all, it would be terrible if the Elf died. This gesture was seen in a good light by one part of the crowd and in a different way by others. Doing good is not always the decision that will please the most.

Soon, Mikaela’s hologram appeared in the middle of the ring again. “Now, we finally have our first contestant to move on to the next stage but don’t be discouraged, because we still have a night full of fights left. And the next underdogs will be…”

The two cubes announcing the names appeared and began to spin at high speed. When they stopped, the Sensory Mage announced:

“Shiro versus Nebezial!!!”

The audience shouted Nebezial’s name even louder and some blue flags waved even more in the stands. As soon as Luke blinked, he was no longer in the Arena and was teleported back to his place in the participants’ bleachers.

Nathalia stood on the ledge of the bleachers and smiled as she saw that the half-wolf was true without a scratch. “Come here. Shiro is the one who is going to fight now, and I learned that he has many fans in Oukiwa.” The Elf said with a mischievous smile.

The half-wolf approached the ledge and saw that the sand in the ring was spread out as before and that Suiyan had disappeared from the shining stone, but Luke didn’t think much about where he went because his attention was captured by the tension that could be felt coming from the battlefield.

Shiro was wearing his sturdy armor, as well as wielding his mighty Claymore. In front of him were the famous Nebezial, Kristofer’s brother and Champion of an edition of the Tournament of Legends.

To Luke, Nebezial looked to be in his early thirties with a more robust and severe face than any of the other young participants there.

Nebezial wore blue clothes of light but also strong fabric and some parts and chains of obsidian armor. His blue hair was like Kristofer’s, only a little darker, and his eyes were impossible to see with his bangs covering them.

“Are you two ready?” Mikaela inquired to the two men, who were staring at each other like animals.

Shiro’s response was to wave his sword forward to straighten his position. Nebezial just tossed his hair to the side a little and nodded to the Sensory.

“Great! Three, two, one… Fight!”

So, at least two minutes of battle had passed, and Nebezial didn’t even perspire, but Shiro was already highly breathless.

He was wearing very heavy armor, and he was also the one who had to take the front to attack because he knew Nebezial’s strength and didn’t want to leave him at ease. However, although he was swift, Kristofer’s brother dodged all of Shiro’s Claymore blows with extreme ease.

Nebezial’s speed was so far above Shiro’s that everyone thought the Berserker was strangely slow. Once Nebezial got tired of waiting for more, he decided to end the fight.

The man in blue stopped the Claymore between the ring and middle fingers of his right hand and threw it back hard. This discrepancy in strength startled everyone but the experienced Berserker, who didn’t allow himself to be shaken.

Shiro immediately started trying to punch the man. At first, his punches were fast and managed to hit Nebezial’s face, which lifted the crowd that was cheering for the famous Berserker, but Shiro’s mistake was to get overconfident.

At one point, Shiro tried to grab his opponent’s neck with both hands, only for Nebezial to react to the Strogueher guard’s immense strength by grabbing his hands. Shiro could hardly believe it because he was losing speed and stamina and strength.

After releasing Shiro’s hand, Nebezial struck his jugular with a light punch, which was enough for the Berserker to swing back. However, he quickly recovered.

Nebezial waited and circled him, and when Shiro tried to punch him again, Nebezial was able to block it with ease and spliced two punches into his opponent’s face. Again, the Berserker resisted and tried to punch, yet Kristofer’s brother deflected easily and struck his spine.

After this, Shiro continued trying to stand, but Nebezial kept hitting him. Several blows hit the Berserker’s face, chest, and belly until Nebezial finally finished him off by lifting him up high and throwing him to the ground.

The audience went wild again with a dominant victory by the former Tournament of Legends Champion, and only a few amounts of people were not happy with the result at all.

When Nebezial was teleported again to the competitors’ stand, Luke was still propped up on the ledge but could hear him sitting in his chair in the upper left corner.

“Did you really need to do all of that?” Luke asked Nebezial, surprising Nathalia, who was now even afraid to look at the famous man. “You know… Nebezial, I’m talking about the show for your fans.”

“Rghh! First get through to the semifinals, and then I’ll think about whether it’s worth talking with you.” Nebezial replied, looking at the half-beast and the Elf.

Luke turned to look at him and said, “I think I’ll hope we meet before then.”

The half-wolf said this looking into his eyes; however, he was surprised when he saw that Nebezial’s eyes were yellow like his own. The only other person he knew in his life who had yellow eyes was Jean Pollo.

Nebezial also arched his eyebrows at the sight of the half-beast’s eyes and smiled even at the bold provocation.
