Chapter 134 Plans for the Future
Van followed Boss back to her house. Now that all of the naked people were gone, with the noise and their mess with them, Boss' house actually looked pretty immaculate. Even with the minimal light brought by the flickering candles, it was obvious how spacious and grand it was inside, with the white marble accentuating it's pristine even further.
Van still had no idea where they were even getting the marble, although he had no idea how it was created in the first place, so it doesn't really matter. His curiosity, however, is getting the better of him as it reminded him of the house given to him by Sarah.
"...Tch," as soon as Sarah's face came to his mind, Van couldn't help but click his tongue. It has been almost a week now and Van was starting to worry if Andrea knew of what she did.
"What are you waiting for, boy? Take a seat."
"Hm?" Van's thoughts were disrupted by Boss' voice, he quickly looked around, but alas, no seats were to be found. He then turned his eyes towards Boss, who was tapping her spacious bed.
She then slowly slid her body and lay herself down, causing her robes to crumple. If it weren't for the flickering darkness and Boss' dark skin, then Van would've surely already seen the top of the mountain.
He has only seen Boss like this the first time he met her, once again reminding him of how she was the first person she has seen to rival the figure of the talking Arachne.
The owner of that voluptuous figure, however, was starting to frown as she stared at Van, "Are you going to sit here, or are you going to make me stand up needlessly?"
"..." Van only let out a small breath as he walked towards the bed. He could always just run if something happens, Boss doesn't seem to be that fast… Or should he? He has only done it once with a woman back in the Relic Graveyard-- would he really be able to satisfy her?
"You seem to overthink a lot." Boss couldn't help but sigh as Van was once again lost in his own world.
"...I used to not think at all," Van said as he finally sat on the edge of the bed. Boss stared at him for a while in silence, before opening her mouth half a minute later.
"If you pass through the gate… the Portal," she said, "How many seconds do you think you can survive?"
"Hm?"
"You're fast. Ever faster than Reed, and obviously faster than the rest of the Prisoners here." Latanya slightly leaned closer towards Van, her robes almost sliding to the side, "If it is you…
...Do you think you will be able to bring me to the outside world?"
"..." Van squinted as he looked at Boss' eyes, which seemed to hold no hesitation or lies, "Mister Gil said they would kill you as soon as they see even a tip of your nose… And that no one has been able to get out ever since it was made."
"No, someone was able to go outside."
"Hm?"
"Someone I knew made it outside… 60 years ago."
"60… years ago?"
Van could not help but focus his eyes on Latanya. She didn't look that much older than Andrea, but to think she was already alive 60 years ago… If this was before, then Van would have a hard time believing her. But so far, he has met abnormally old people. First was Angela Elton, who looked as young or even younger than him. Then the second was the Chairman, who is supposedly around a thousand years old.
He couldn't even imagine what it would be like to live that long, or even live past 30 years old. He found it weird since a majority of the people in the Relic Graveyard die before their 40s, even his father didn't make it to that age, thanks to him.
"...Why are you looking at me like that, boy?" Latanya once again leaned in closer towards Van as she looked at him straight in the eyes, "Could it be… you really want to do it with me? I don't mind… tasting something fresh and damaged at the same time would be good," Latanya's twirling voice echoed through Van's ears as she slowly stretched her hand towards his face.
Van quickly moved his head to the side to avoid Latanya's slithering hand.
"Pft, just kidding." Boss retracted her hand as she let out a giggle, "Maybe if you start showing the scar on your face, I will think about it."
Van only let out a hum as his face momentarily formed a frown.
"Alright, back to business." Latanya said as she moved away and leaned her back on the headboard, "I have questioned hundreds and hundreds of people that came from the gate, and most of the time, they are not alone."
"Hm?"
"They are always in groups of 4-5. You seem to be a special case, but that's not really important right now," Boss slightly let out a sigh as she once again looked at Van in the eyes, "But what I learned from them is that this huge dome that's outside will usually still be open until the 2nd Prisoner is pushed in."
"In that span of time, do you think you can run past the Dome while carrying me?"
"..." Van didn't know what to say as he had no idea what Boss was talking about. His eyes were covered the whole time he was being transported here, he didn't even know what the other side of the Portal looked like.
"...Seriously?" Boss could not help but blink a couple of times as she once again looked Van straight in the eyes, "This is my first time hearing someone being treated like that, I think the people outside usually just kill them…
...Just what did you do?"
"I thought it didn't matter?"
"That was earlier."
"...I killed some people."
"That's it? I can name 50 people here who have killed more than you," Boss sat up straight as she examined Van from head to toe, "Rick has killed more than 200 people, and even he wasn't treated like that."
"...Mister Rick? Not Grant?"
"You should have seen him the first time he arrived here," Boss suddenly let out a burst of laughter, but quickly cleared her throat as she saw Van's confused expression. "W...we're losing track."
"...Can you just stick your head to see what's on the other side?"
"Hm…" Van could not help but furrow his eyebrows as he thought of the possibilities that could happen if he did so. With his speed and skill, he probably could just take a peek. But what if someone like Elton or Charlotte was guarding the other side? He would surely die.
"You don't have to worry, as long as your brain is intact, I can keep you alive," Boss quickly said as she saw the hesitation on Van's face, "Even if your whole face is shaved off, you'll live."
"...I don't like the sound of that."
"...Really?" Boss let out a long and deep sigh as she stretched her arms upwards, her gigantic bosom finally popping out of her robes and showing themselves, "Now I'm bored…
...do you want to fuck?"
"W...what?" Van's stuttered breaths echoed through the whole room as he almost choked to death from Boss' unexpected words. He then gulped as Latanya's fingers slowly slithered their way across his legs. Van could now also see her wet tongue slowly playing inside of her slightly opened mouth.
He was about to lean forward, however, for some reason, out of nowhere, Victoria's emotionless face popped up in his mind, causing him to quickly back away from Boss.
"Tch… Boring," Boss once again sighed, "Let's talk about this again, think about what I said."
"No, there's nothing to think about."
"...What's that?" Boss could not help but frown as he heard Van's words, "Are you ref--"
"As soon as another Prisoner emerges for the Portal, we will proceed with your plan," Van said, "I carry you, if I get wounded, you heal me immediately."
"Ho… I like that initiative."
"If that's all, then please… excuse me, Miss Boss."
As soon as Van left the house, Boss, who was left all alone in the room, quickly let out a long and colorful moan.
"Uhn… Now I'm really bored," she whispered as she completely laid her back on the bed, "...Something about him… really makes me wet."
Boss' words continued to whisper through the room as she slightly spread her legs open, her hands slowly trailing between her legs.

"What did you and Boss talk about?"
"We had sex."
"R… really!?"
Gil almost swallowed his own throat as he heard Van's words, his vehement coughing almost making him kneel to the ground.
"No." Van let out a tiny scoff as he stared at the groveling Gil. He was shocked when Boss suddenly said that to him, so he wanted to let the others experience it as well. "It was nothing, she just wanted to know what it was like outside since we were the last ones to arrive here."
"Eh? But why didn't she call me instead?"
Before Van could answer Gil, a loud sigh entered their ears, "You guys talk whatever here, I am going to sleep. You'll just lose your mind talking to Van if he doesn't want you to know something."
"Haa… but I am really curious," Gil groaned in frustration as he stood up from the ground.
"I will tell you guys some other time," Van muttered before walking towards his house, "Stay alive."
However, before he could enter his house, Nisha whispered something into his ear, "Be careful, Van. You're attracting unnecessary attention," she said before looking towards Reed and Grant, who were also staring at them.
"It's okay. I sleep with my eyes half open."
"Hm," Nisha could not help but let out a short breath as she looked at Van. She was about to turn around, but before she could do so, an unexpected set of words whispered into her ears.
"...Thank you for worrying about me, Miss Nisha."
"Tch… who's worrying about you."

"Mother-in-law, where are you taking the children!?"
Back in the Gates' estate, Victoria, Harvey, and Beatrice were following Charlotte out of the mansion, their bags, and valuables beside them.
"Why aren't you packed!? I am taking all of you to safety!"
"I… I don't understand, mother. I won't pack until you explain to me what's going on!" Paris, Victoria's mother, stomped her foot on the ground as she refused to follow Charlotte's orders, "The children should be at the Academy! They have already been missing enough days as it is!"
"Follow me just this once, child!" Charlotte also stomped her foot on the ground, causing a cracking noise to snap through the air as small cracks formed around the whole mansion, "A few weeks from now…
...there wouldn't even be an Academy!"
