291 It didn't bode well
Miguel smirked after receiving the message from Elias and he said to Owen who was the Titan who had led him to the resistance : “My husband just left with our men and they won’t return until tomorrow morning, so this is probably the only opportunity I’ll have to talk with you and the resistanceā¦ Owen, I need to talk to your leader, now.”
Owen nodded and asked him to follow him, like he just said, it might be their only chance to create an alliance with them.
He had first thought it would have been better to be able to speak directly with the God of War but he was glad now that it was Miguel who was here with him.
When the arena was plunged into darkness after the explosion and Miguel had appeared next to him and teleported him out of the city, he had introduced himself to him and told him that the God of War was his husband and that he had been his master before he became the God of War, when at that time he had been the first Warrior Spirit to appear in the universe.
Owen didn’t know what to say after this discovery but then he thought that in the end it was even better because nobody had paid attention to this man who seemed weaker than the others and who had gone totally unnoticed.
And Miguel had wasted no time and told him honestly that he would have liked to be able to prevent the war but that at this point it was no longer possible. So he had asked him to be able to talk to his superior to try to better understand the situation in their world and try to find the best solution for everyone.
He had also told him not to worry and that his absence wouldn’t be noticed because without him realizing it, he had created a clone perfectly identical to him and he had connected it with his chakra so that this clone would act exactly as he would have.
Owen had no idea that it was even possible to do something like that, and Miguel had told him that when the clone would disappear, he would get all its memories, so if anyone asked him questions about what he had done this afternoon he would be able to answer without any problem.
Owen still found it hard to believe that he had the man who had trained the God of War just next to him, and unlike the other Gods, Titans and anyone else who had huge power, this man’s aura wasn’t oppressive and he had the charisma of a true leader, he was sure that if the resistance allied with the Warrior Spirits who had ridiculed their Emperor’s soldiers then they had a chance to survive.
But he wasn’t the one in charge of the resistance, only Silas could make that kind of decision, and he was the one to whom he was taking Miguel.
Meanwhile, Miguel took the opportunity to ask his men for a report and he frowned when two of them told him that they had been stopped by an impenetrable barrier and that until he was available to open a passage through it, they continued their investigations.
They also found out that in addition to the mines of this ore that they didn’t know, there were plenty mines of Verarium and apparently they continued to extract large quantities of it.
They had also reported to him that many Titans were kept prisoner to work in those mines and Tarik gave him more precision by telling him that they weren’t criminals because here they were directly executed but that all these Titans were those who had tried to oppose the regime of the Emperor.
Miguel after this information felt hope reborn, it was very good news, it meant that many Titans didn’t support their Emperor and that as he had hoped, some simply wanted to live in peace.
On the other hand, the fact that his men had already found two impenetrable barriers didn’t bode well, after this force field created by Lilith and Cassandra, he wondered what could be on the other side of these barriers.
And fortunately, thanks to their highly developed sixth sense, the Warrior Spirits were able to detect these impenetrable barriers otherwise they would have been dead.
He then told his men to continue searching and that he would join them soon, Elias had given them until tomorrow to collect as much information as possible so they had to make good use of this time.
……………
Back at the Sun Sect in the Pavilion nĀ°8 Kevin and Axel had finally returned home after killing a few more magical beasts and storing them in their dimension, and since Willow was still sleeping peacefully they chose to continue training.
Axel had told his father that he could come to dinner with them but that they wanted to wait until Ian was free so they could all really be together to celebrate Willow’s birth.
And while waiting for his father to join them and for Willow to wake up, Kevin continued to craft potions and Axel continued to practice using his chakra.
After sometime, just when Kevin finished to craft a potion he heard the familiar sound of the system ringing in his head, and so, he opened it to check the message he had just received and there was not one but two messages.
[You have participated in a battle you earned 500 000 gold coins and 150 000 experience points.
You have leveled up 3 times, all your Stats have been increased by 3 points.]
[ Congratulations, you have reached the potions low grade level 3, you will now gain 40 experience points and 4 Soul force points per potion. ]
He had almost forgotten that he would gain experience points and gold coins from the battle this morning. When he had looked at his Stats earlier, he had only paid attention to his Soul force points and he hadn’t paid attention to the rest.
So, he was now at level 82 and after the fight against the champion of the current demon King, he would probably gain another level.
Kevin then looked at his crafting potions skill block and saw that he still had to make 150 potions to complete this level. But the most important thing was that he only had 28 potions left to craft before he finally reached the 1 000 Soul force points now that he could gain 4 points per potion.
Therefore, he decided to concentrate only on crafting potion and to leave meditation aside for the moment, because thanks to the crystals they had found yesterday, he no longer had an urgent need to fill Talismans with lightning particles.
