353 Different types of training
With Caleb they had agreed to start with two hours every morning in gravity rooms adapted to their level and then they would spend the rest of the day fighting in dungeons.
For the dungeons he had divided the groups differently and Axel, Kevin, Alan and Erik would team up with him, while Colin had asked him to take care of Ashton and Yelena because he was still intrigued by this mage’s knowledge and wanted to get to know him better. Nolan was also part of this group and he would only take care of the strongest creatures.
Caleb, as for him, would take care of Kelan, Liam and Ian, once these two would be available of course, which would take at least several days, but unfortunately there was nothing they could do about it and stabilizing the power in the territory of the demons was as important as preparing for the war.
Finally, if Elias and Miguel agreed to lend them Warrior Spirits, Solomon and the others could also train thoroughly in the dungeons without taking any risks.
Once on the other side of the portal Caleb told them that this was where all the Warrior Spirits began their training.
It was a huge room where the gravity got stronger and stronger as they progressed through it, and he explained to them that there were several different types of training in a gravity room.
The first was to only use their stamina and strength to move around there, then once they got used to the pressure, instead of training in the Sun Sect training grounds, they would train here.
All of their basic Stats would go up much faster because even though their bodies would be used to the pressure and they would feel like they were doing a normal workout, the pressure was real and their bodies would be under much more strain than normal training.
Then there was the specific training to improve the control over their energy reserve, be it chakra or soul force, both of them could be used to counter the effect of the pressure on their body.
And when Caleb explained this to them Kevin then asked himĀ : “Wait, are you talking about a force field here ?”
Caleb smiled and he said to him : “That’s right, force fields are something that are instinctive when you use your Warrior Spirit skill but you can’t stay with your skill activated all the time, and the best way to learn how to protect yourself and create a force field is to get in condition.
Gravity rooms were created for this purpose, we are not really in danger but we cannot use our bodies as we want and so we had to find a way to counter this pressure.
Don’t forget that a force field at the base is only a shield which surrounds our body to protect us, here the more you will move away in this room, the more the gravity will be important and thus the more your force field will have to be powerful.”
Yelena who had been woken up by Kevin this morning was more or less aware of the current situation, she had taken a crash course on Warrior Spirits, the Gods, the war with the Titans that was approaching, and although she still didn’t really understand how she could have drawn the attention of these extraordinary people on her, who would not dream of being trained by such powerful beings.
She looked at Ashton who also looked very excited and she wondered if it was because they had managed to combine her chakra with his spells that they were both here.
Kevin then shook her shoulder and she saw that Caleb had stopped talking, damn it, she thought, had she been lost in thought that long, she immediately apologized and Caleb then said to herĀ : “If you have any questions feel free to ask, I’ve heard some really interesting things about you, the control you have over your chakra is apparently unheard of, I can’t wait to see it with my own eyes.”
Yelena blushed immediately but Caleb didn’t let her feel embarrassed and he immediately went on to explain what they were going to do.
He told them that to begin with they would all have to move forward in this room without any protection to see how far they could go, then they would mark the floor with a mark of their choice and after that they would try to create a shield around them and continue to progress until the pressure was too great for them.
Then they would stay in that spot until their bodies got used to the pressure and whenever they could they would keep moving.
After 50 minutes they would take a short break and then they would do the exact same exercise again, and normally they would all be able to pass that first mark they had made on the floor.
This exercise would allow them to see the benefits of their training in a gravity room and the fact that they could see their progress would keep them motivated.
He then told them that in order to progress and continue to advance in this room they would have no choice but to increase the power of their shield around them or increase their Stats.
Of course, at the end of each training session, whether it was their energy reserve or their Stats, both would have increased significantly and he also promised them that he would adapt his exercises so that each of them would progress as quickly as possible.
Caleb looked at them and he hadn’t lied to Yelena when he told her he couldn’t wait to see what she could do.
When Kevin had suggested that Yelena join them for training, he had initially refused, telling him that in any case, like Ashton, they wouldn’t be able to participate in the war against the Titans, because a month wasn’t enough for them to become powerful enough to go and fight them.
But Kevin had told him that it wasn’t to send them to war that he wanted them to train with them, it was because they absolutely had to succeed in using the technique that they had created and which combined the chakra with spells.
