My Mage System

459 Wedding part 1

Since his father had told him that Caleb was unbeatable at chess and that he wanted to get Caleb’s attention, he asked him to give him 3 tries to beat him.

Caleb had accepted, sure to win this bet, and he had even told him that if he lost he would find him another fighter to train him and that they would only meet again during missions in a strictly professional context.

Kelan had naturally accepted his stupid terms and Caleb had experienced for the first time the determination of the men of the Lan family.

Kelan had a brilliant mind and following his father’s advice in addition to his physical training he had also developed his intellectual faculties.

He had let Caleb win the first two games to observe his playing style and then he had crushed him in the third game.

Caleb was so surprised to be beaten that he had asked him to play another game, but he had lost again and that’s how their ambiguous relationship began.

After that night, there had been other nights, and there had been other bets, and Caleb had lost them all without exception, at the end it had infuriated him so much that he had sworn never to bet with him again.

And a year after he finished the academy and completed countless missions for the organization, he had finally officially came under Caleb’s command and it took him a few more months to get Caleb to accept him completely.

And now, 10 years after their first meeting, they were finally getting married.

It had been a long journey but he would never regret it and as he suddenly felt Caleb’s arms wrap around him from behind, he heard him asked to tease him : “My love, you were so deep in thought that I hope you were thinking of me, because I would be very offended if you weren’t.”

Kelan turned his head to look at him and he replied with a smile : “Who else do you want me to think about when we’re getting married.”

Caleb seemed satisfied with this answer and he said while hugging him tighter, “Everything is ready, we can go.”

He didn’t give Kelan time to react and he teleported them to the prison dimension where a transdimensional portal was waiting for them.

Caleb moved away from him a little and he let Kelan turn around to face him, he had put on the clothes of his home world which was different from his usual style and when he saw the surprise in Kelan’s eyes he explained to him : “This is the traditional wedding costume of my home world, I didn’t think I would ever wear it but since we’re getting married, I thought it would be nice for you to see it… So what do you think about it ?”

Kelan smirked then and he said to him : “You’re lucky that only Elias and Miguel are there or I would have probably asked you to change your shirt, my god you look way too sexy dressed like that.”

Caleb was wearing a pair of wide white linen pants and a matching white shirt that were slit all the way down to his pecs, and it even showed the beginnings of his abs.

There was also a large black belt with gold embroidery on it that was wrapped around his waist and with his tanned skin Caleb was really handsome in this costume.

Kelan couldn’t help but let one of his hands run over his skin which was visible thanks to this shirt and he brought his hand up to his neck and stood on his tiptoes to kiss him.

Caleb was delighted with the effect his traditional wedding attire had just had on his man and he said to him after that tender kiss : “If you’re ready, let’s go, they’re waiting for us.”

Kelan smiled at him and he took his hand so that they would cross the transdimensional portal together, his heart was beating wildly and he could hardly believe that this was it and that the moment had come.

When they arrived, Miguel and Elias were also wearing outfits that were probably from their homeworld as he had never seen them dressed like that.

They were both wearing black pants and white shirts, the only thing that was different in their outfit was the breastplate that they wore over their white shirts which was dark blue for Miguel and blood red for Elias.

On Miguel’s, there was a pentagram with the 7 symbols representing the elements drawn in gold ink, and on Elias’ there were two long swords that crossed each other drawn in black ink.

Miguel beckoned them to approach and then he said to Kelan : “Welcome to our home world Kelan, this world is the very first that was created in our universe, and this is a sacred place that has been kept secret by the Priests and their trusted men since the beginning of time.

You and Caleb are the first one to be invited there since our own marriage.”

Kelan was looking around and he was amazed.

Everything seemed totally unreal here, the sky was filled with countless rainbows of different sizes and the one and only giant tree that had to be at least 5 meters high and looked like a weeping willow was completely golden, from the trunk to the leaves, it shone brightly and had a kind of divine aura around it.

The water of the lake that was right next to them was totally transparent and instead of seeing fish, one could see magic crystals embedded in the bottom.

Elias then said to him : “Kelan, I would like to remind you, just in case Caleb forgot to mention it, that this ceremony was the very first one that existed, and it was created when our life expectancy as humans did not exceed 30 years.

This ceremony allows those who wish to commune their souls and bind them together, so that when they die, their souls enter the cycle of reincarnation together and they can meet again in their next life.”
