553 Don’t mind him
Elias then smiled at him and he said: “I saw another passage that can lead us to this laboratory, but I will need Atlas to open it, I’ll be right back.”
Elias disappeared at once and he returned with Atlas not long after, he said to him then: “I need you to open a passage for us towards the laboratory which is on the other side of this wall, the only problem is that we can’t pass by force or else large black energy crystals will explode in all different areas and the consequences of that would be disastrous.”
Atlas then asked him: “What exactly do you need me for?”
Elias pointed to a spot on the wall that was on their left side and he said: “Send some black particles right there and that should be enough to open the hidden door.”
Atlas then moved his hand closer to the spot that Elias had just shown him and he sent black particles into it just like he was told to do.
Immediately, the outline of a door appeared and it opened by itself to let them through.
Miguel then said to Elias with a look filled with love: “My dear husband, you are always the best!”
Miguel then patted Atlas on the shoulder to thank him and he went first, followed by Elias who signaled to the others to follow them, and Kevin then said once Elias went through this door: “Miguel is right, Elias is really the best…”
Axel then put his arm around his shoulders and Mykael said to him while passing before them with Colin: “Son, obviously Elias is the best, he is the very first Warrior Spirit and he is 10,000 years older than you… What exactly did you expect?”
Colin laughed and then he winked at Kevin telling him: “Don’t worry, you’re doing great, and if you were already able to match Elias, even I would be scared shitless of you!”
Kevin then told them, smiling at them: “It’s fine, I’m not jealous or envious of Elias, I just think that he’s too awesome.”
Elias’s voice then rang out and he said to them: “What are you guys doing?
Aren’t you coming?”
In the laboratory, Miguel had already immobilized the three men who were there when he entered and who curiously hadn’t fled while they were fighting against those Werewolves.
Maybe they thought that they couldn’t lose and so they didn’t pay much attention to the fight that was raging outside.
Miguel then asked Axel when he saw them coming in: “I kept them alive because I have a doubt… Your ability to read minds is not limited to Werewolves, is it?”
Axel shook his head but he still said to him: “This is not limited to Werewolves but I can only read the minds of the weakest, otherwise I only perceive fleeting emotions.”
Colin then asked him: “What exactly do you mean by the weakest?
I’d be curious to know how many people you might offend if they came to know that you put them in this category…”

But Axel looked at Colin a little embarrassed and he said to him: “You know that it wasn’t really what I meant, right?”
Mykael then removed his hand from Colin’s mouth but not without giving him a warning look and Colin then said to Axel with a smile: “I know that, I was just teasing you, I know that you don’t find your friends weak, is just that you have become much more powerful than them in a very short time… And as for your father’s reaction, don’t worry about it I’m used to it, it’s not the first time nor the last time either that he will stop me from talking when I cross the line.”
Mykael then sighed helplessly and he asked his son hoping to finally pass to another subject: “So?”
Axel had never really tried to use this ability on his own… Usually, he caught people’s thoughts when they were agitated.
But it was also true that on several occasions he had managed to connect his mind to the ones of the others, so he hoped that he would succeed this time as well, even though it would certainly be exhausting to do so.
Axel’s approached the man who was closest to him and who was being held and gagged with green and gold chains that were made from light and golden particles, and then before he began, he first intensified his link with Kevin, and he warned him using their link to communicate, ‘Babe, you’re going to be able to see and hear the same thing as I do, so if I miss any details, at least I’m sure you won’t.’
Kevin nodded and to direct the man’s mind to what they needed to find out he asked him: “Why do you use Werewolves to turn them into Knights of Darkness, I thought only humans could become Knight of Darkness?”
Axel to his surprise, simply by focusing on this man heard his thoughts.
And just as he was about to repeat to the others what he had just heard, Kevin then said to him using their link, ‘Communicate the information we receive using the communication stones, so that this man won’t know that you are capable of reading his mind, and he will continue to provide us with information without knowing it.’
Axel immediately followed Kevin’s advice and he told everyone using the communication stones, ‘This man just revealed to us that creating Knights of Darkness from humans was really too complicated, it took an average of 10,000 humans to successfully create one Knight of Darkness, whereas with their regeneration ability, Werewolves were ideal creatures to become one.’
As Kevin continued to ask questions, Axel gave them the information he received as he went along.
