597 Both of your wishes can finally come true
Erik then asked her: “How is the baby… We just fought a tough battle and we both used a lot of our energy…”
Esme then told him: “Then it’s normal that your body reacted so strongely, rest and the nausea will disappeared as well as the contractions.”
She then told him: “Your baby is perfectly fine, but you have to be careful from now on.
You can still fight and train but don’t forget that you are carrying a life and that you must rest more to let him develop.”

Erik then smiled at her and he said really grateful: “Thank you, thank you so much!”
What a shame than Alan was still unconscious, thought Erik, but he would tell him everything once he woke up and Alan would finally be reassured about him and the baby, everything was perfectly normal and their baby was fine, and that was the most important thing.
Esme then said to him: “Young Warrior Spirit, as you are the first of them to become pregnant, it is best that I am the one who assists you in your delivery, after all I am the most qualified for it, but just in case, next time I visit you, make sure your man is conscious, I’ll tell him what to do if I can’t be there when the time come.”
Elias frowned and then he said to her: “Esme, we’ve already told you that we’ve added seals to yours to protect your world from Diana and Lilith, they have no way of getting past them, I promise.”
Esme smiled at him and she said to them: “Some of my men want to join you, I’ve already sent them a message and they should be gathered by now in the reception room where you arrived… I’ve always let my people make their own choices, but among them is the reincarnation of Zak.
I’ve waited for him for so long, I don’t want to lose him a second time, so for the first time since the dawn of time, I’ve decided to take part in this war too… My men and I will fight alongside you.”
Elias and Miguel’s eyes widened and Elias then asked her: “Does Zak remember anything about his past life with you?”
Esme smiled sadly and shook her head, Zak did have memories of his previous life which sometimes appeared in his dreams but for the moment the life they had shared together during the war of the Warrior Spirits against the Gods had not come back to him.
Esme then told them: “In this life Zak isn’t a fighter like he used to be, he’s been reincarnated as a Mage… But his fighting skills are still extraordinary, it’s quite strange…”
Miguel cut her off and immediately asked her: “How old is he? It’s very important, Esme!”
Esme frowned as she said to him: “He turned 18 two months ago… I tried to dissuade him from taking part in this war but he’s the most promising Mage in our world since its creation, he already has an affinity with 4 elements, fire, lightning, wind, and light.”
Miguel then looked at Elias who nodded and then he said to Esme: “Esme, Zak probably isn’t just a Mage… And from what we have been observing recently, there’s a good chance that Zak could become a Priest… Let me train him and we’ll know very soon.”
Esme felt her heart beat faster and she repeated: “A Priest… My Zak could become a Priest in this life, so that would mean…”
Elias smiled at her and he, who didn’t particularly like physical contact except with those he considered his family, took her in his arms and said to her: “Let Miguel take care of his training, if Zak can become a Priest, then both of your wishes can finally come true.
You will finally be able not only to live together forever but to form a family too… But don’t forget that he doesn’t know anything about your past life, so be patient with him, he will remember eventually as he grow stronger.”
Miguel put a hand on her shoulder and said: “Our men will protect him, you have my word, we won’t let anything happen to him.”
Esme knew that she could trust the Warrior Spirits and some of them like Caleb, Isaac, Tarik, Iris and Helena have kown him from his past life so she knew they would protect him.
She quickly dried her eyes and her cheeks as she couldn’t hold back her tears after learning that her Zak could become a Priest and she then looked at Erik and told him: “Let Elias carry Alan again, and rest until you don’t have anymore nausea and contractions, alright?”
Erik just nodded and thanked her again before following them to the reception room where 50 men and women where waiting there.
They were all elite soldiers, and whether they were Mages or fighters, they had all reached level 200, with the exception of Zak who was the only one of the new generation to have been able to accompany them in this battle thanks to his exceptional talents.
Elias was struck by his resemblance to the Zak he had known 10,000 years ago, but like all reincarnations he was not quite identical and this Zak was for the moment less imposing than the man he was used to being around with and who had fought alongside them during the War against the Gods.
Miguel had only had the opportunity to meet him a few times before he died naturally and entered his cycle of reincarnation and yet he recognized him immediately too.
Zak had the charisma of a leader, and even if all the men and women around him were more powerful than he was at the moment, you couldn’t help but feel a strong impression of this young man.
Esme then said to Elias and Miguel: “These are the men and women who wish to respond to your call.
As you expressly requested, all these fighters and Mages have reached level 200 and are therefore capable of fighting Titans… With the exception of Zak of course, but he still has 20 days to prove himself before the war begins.”
Elias nodded contentedly and greeted those he already knew and who had fought alongside the Warrior Spirits in the last war, and after looking at Zak more closely than the others, he finally told them: “Thank you all for answering our call.
We’re going to take you all to Erik and Alan’s home world, which is a great place to train and where anyone who wants to take part in this war will join us.
In the morning you’ll train with the Warrior Spirits for the fighters and with Miguel and Colin for the Mages.
In the afternoon, you’ll have to form groups, preferably with people you’re used to fighting with, as you’ll be facing all sorts of creatures in dungeons, which will help you strengthen your teamwork.”
Miguel then added as he opened a transdimensional portal to the base that some of their men had started to build when they had decided that their armed forces would gather there: “We’ll explain everything to you in more detail later, come on, let’s go!”
Elias, who was still carrying Alan on his back, went first, followed closely by Erik and then Miguel motioned for Esme’s men and women to go through it too and when he saw that Zak had stopped near Esme, he said to them: “Take your time, the portal will close by itself as soon as Zak goes through it.”
Then Miguel went through it in turn, leaving the two of them alone.
Zak was clenching and unclenching his fists but as he said nothing and didn’t move, even fleeing her gaze, Esme got close enough to him to tenderly caress his cheek and she asked him when Zak finally turned his handsome face towards her: “What’s wrong Zak? Isn’t this what you wanted?”
Zak nodded and after gathering his courage, he placed his hand on hers and he turned his head slightly without taking his eyes off hers to kiss the palm of her hand.
Esme then whispered his name and he finally asked her: “My Goddess, I thought you were coming with us… But you don’t seem ready to leave, why?”
Esme smiled at him and she explained to him: “I’ll never be far away Zak, call me if you want to see me and I’ll come, but as a Goddess, apart from our world where I can stay for a long time, I can’t stay in a world that isn’t mine, it’s the law, and at most I’ll only be able to stay a few hours.”
