677 Extra reward
This time the result was completely different and the evil beings even by joining hands couldn’t fight against the Chains of Restraint that were destroying any attacks made of black particles as soon as they appeared.
Their speed, strength and resistance to the black particles were increased by the Blessing magic of the Angels and the Divine energy that Elias had sent into them, and so after only a few minutes all 3 evil beings were held by the Chains of Restraint, completely unable to use their powers.
They also couldn’t flee nor ask their subornidates to come to save them as the most powerful of them were still fighting on another battlefield and they couldn’t contact them no matter which means they used.
Nor the communication stones, nor the telepathic link that they share with some of them was working and Kevin then told them: “It is pointless, no matter what you try the Chains of Restraint won’t let you communicate with anyone and they are also restraining your powers.”
Kevin, now that the situation was under control and that Elias… and probably Miguel too, were watching over him, he was able to focus on the spell using the Swallower of shadows’ unique magic as he had no idea how to preceed to absorb their shadows…
Fortunately, as always his System didn’t let him down and he received a new notification that was quite useful.
[To use the Swallower of shadows’ unique magic and absorb their shadows, you must activate the level 10 spell relate to it just after killing one of them.
Be aware that you can get only one Shadow at a time and that the Soul force points require to absorb them will be differents depending of the level of the Shadow you want to absorb.]
Kevin was glad that Elias was there to protect him otherwise it could have been troublesome to activate this level 10 spell 3 different times but as he only needed to focus on absorbing their Shadows it was fine.
Kevin then approached then and he made a Golden short sword appear made from the Golden Particles and he plunged it into the energy sources of the General Wizard first.
If he were to fail, that was the only one he could afford to lose as he was already able to summon dead creatures.
Kevin then activate the level 10 spell using the Swallower of shadows unique magic and a notification was displayed immediately.

Kevin obviously accepted it and then another message appeared on the holographic screen of his System.

Kevin widened his eyes when he saw that and since Elias was looking at him, Kevin told him that he had successfully absorbed the Shadow of the General Wizard and he told him about it’s unexpected rewards and Elias then said to him: “Well, in one of the red dungeons we have indeed fought against Dead flying horses, they were very fast and could use the Evil Divine Element, these are great rewards, congratulations, son.”
Kevin smiled hearing this and so he killed the others 2 remaining evil beings using the same tactic and even thought he needed 55,000 Soul force points to absorb the Shadow of the Necromancer and 80,000 to absorb the one of the Swallower of shadows, he didn’t get any more extra rewards.
And since they were done, after having successfully obtained these 3 Shadows, they joined the other on the battlefield and Kevin then flew at a high speed to join Axel and Willow again.
When Kevin joined them Willow was wielding her daggers, striking only at the green flames of the Skeletons and he saw her using her Sacred Fire energy when she couldn’t handle the number of Skeletons that were coming at her.
Axel then kissed Kevin’s cheek as they were both fighting to protect Willow’s back and he said to him: “Our daughter is really gifted, don’t you think, see how she can handle these Skeletons protected by their armor, and wait, maybe you will be able to see her throw them on the ones holding bows.”
Axel then told him that their daughter used their personal dimension to teleport wherever she wanted on the battlefield and that as soon as she threw her daggers, she teleported to get them back as soon as they destroyed the green flames of these Skeletons.
He also told him that their daughter was a very fast learner and that everyone came from time to time to give her advice and that she assimilated them quickly and used them to become even more efficient.
Kevin could feel the pride that Axel was feeling watching their daughter fight and he couldn’t help but be mesmerized by her.
Axel after reporting everything to him, then told him: “Babe, I have followed your every move, so I know what happened, congratulations, these Shadows and those level 10 spells that you have copied will be really useful for us and it is something that they won’t be able to predict.”
Kevin smiled at him and this time the pride that Axel was feeling was due to that fact that he was his husband, which really delighted him.
Kevin now that he was here sent Willow advice as well, using their telepathic link, and he helped her to correct her movements to increase her strength and speed, and after a few tries, Willow was thrilled as her Daddy advice was really the best.
She could feel the difference while fighting, she could use more strengh and she could strike faster than before thanks to a few changes that wasn’t hard to make.
And her Daddy even promised her that he would personally teach her to wield her daggers as well as using hidden weapons to defend herself if she had to take in a hand-to-hand fight.
