My Special Ability is Perfect Replication

Chapter 216: Dark Demonic Dragon, the Black Egg’s Identity

Chapter 216: Dark Demonic Dragon, the Black Egg’s Identity

“So...

“Are you willing to aid me?”

Ling Jiu was a little speechless. Even if I want to help you, I am powerless. Who the hell knows where your homeland is? And even if I have an idea, how do I send you back?

It’s not like I know how to make wormholes!

...Create a wormhole!

Ling Jiu’s mind perked up.

Naturally, he thought of the void worm. It had been sleeping ever since he had gotten it, and in the words of 9527, it was about to hatch.

Once it hatched, it would break out of its cocoon and become a butterfly, formally entering its adolescence stage. An adolescent void worm would undoubtedly have an even stronger ability to create wormholes.

“If I replicate the ability to create wormholes, then there is hope to help the great dragon return home! But the question is, where is its home?”

“Also, if the distance is too far, then it won’t be possible.”

Thinking of this, Ling Jiu slowly said, “Sir Dragon, although I do want to help you, I know nothing about your homeland...”

“As long as you are willing to help us, that problem can be easily resolved!”

A glimmer of joy flashed in the eyes of the great dragon as it then looked in a direction and spoke.

“I can faintly sense the direction of my homeland. It’s over there, and it’s not too far away, about a few light-years away.”

“A few light-years? That doesn’t seem all that far away.”

Ling Jiu nodded and then wondered again. “With this distance, you should be able to fly back right?”

Ling Jiu had heard 9527 said before that Stellar lifeforms possessed the ability to wander throughout the universe, and will not freeze to death in the icy environment of deep space nor to space radiation, and could survive in space.

With the power of the great dragon, it was not a problem to cross a few light-years, right?

“I used to think so too!”

The great dragon slowly said, “Unfortunately, the distance of a few light-years is just too far for me. I’m afraid that I will die of old age long before I reach my homeland!”

“You need to know, while we, Redfire Dragons have relatively long lifespans, a Stellar-lifeform Redfire Dragon can only live for 1,500 years at most.”

“How is it possible to cross several light-years in just 1,500 years?”

Ling Jiu was silent.

How far was ‘several light-years away’?

One year of light traveling was one light-year.

Several years... meant that light had to travel for several years!

How fast was the speed of light again?

About 300,000 kilometers per second!

Three hundred thousand kilometers... per second!

That was an extremely terrifying number!

One-tenth was 30,000 kilometers per second.

One percent was 3,000 kilometers per second.

One over ten thousand was 30 kilometers per second.

Even 30 kilometers per second was a terrifying number!

Ling Jiu did not know what the maximum speed of a Stellar lifeform was, but he thought that it would not exceed 30 kilometers per second, ten-thousandth of the speed of light.

Assuming that the great dragon could reach ten-thousandth of the speed of light, it would need 10,000 years to traverse the distance of a single light-year!

Ten thousand years!

Forget a few light-years!

That alone was already tens of thousands of years!

A lifespan of 1,500 years was far from enough!

It was true that outer space was vast and empty, without any obstructions, and in theory, a Stellar lifeform could continue to accelerate and eventually reach a terrifying speed.

But this was obviously unrealistic.

It was impossible, even for a machine, to accelerate all of the time!

Why? Because there would not be enough fuel in the tank, much less a lifeform that needed to eat, drink, and do toilet business.

So, it was not realistic to keep on accelerating indefinitely.

This was space!

This was the universe!

A mere few light-years away was already akin to a moat that could trap a primitive, low-level lifeform in their planets.

“So, I could only wait here silently. When I gradually lost patience and was about to sink into despair, I suddenly had a dream!”

The giant dragon looked at Ling Jiu. “And you appeared in the dream... At the end of it, you helped us return to our homeland!”

“So, I hope you can give me your aid!”

Ling Jiu was silent for a moment before speaking slowly. “I can try to help you, but whether I can be of any help in the end I don’t know.”

“Thank you!”

The great dragon said the two words slowly.

“Give me a week to prepare.”

Ling Jiu said. “I will be back there at this time next week!”

The great dragon stared at Ling Jiu for a long while, before slowly saying. “Please.”

...

Ling Jiu left the Dragon Valley.

After returning to the planet’s surface, bathing in the hot molten magma, Ling Jiu let out a long sigh of relief. The pressure of standing beside the great dragon was just too much.

Its terrifying aura and pressure were really suffocating.

“Even standing beside Emperor Might back then did not give me such a pressure.”

Ling Jiu moved his muscles a little and then sensed the Dimensional Mark before returning to Wormhole 13.

Just as he looked at the darkness around him, Ling Jiu murmured. “Does that Dark Demonic Dragon live here? We didn’t know about it before!”

“Let’s go! Fast!”

Just as Ling Jiu was about to leave, he suddenly realized that his body could not move. This feeling was the same when the first great dragon monster had appeared for the first time...

The surrounding space is held in place by force!

Who was it?

Was there even a need to ask?

“Damn it!”

Ling Jiu was horrified and his guts churned. “I should have just directly entered Wormhole 13 once I teleported over just now! Otherwise, how would I end up like this?”

The next moment, Ling Jiu felt the world spin. When he regained his senses, he was already in an unfamiliar environment.

It was pitch black all around.

He could not see his own five fingers.

Even with Ling Jiu’s superior night vision, he could not see his surrounding environment clearly at all.

But Ling Jiu could clearly feel an incomparably terrifying aura crushing upon him as even the air became extremely thick, and was even more unbearable than being subjected to 400 times the gravity!

“Oh no!”

Ling Jiu wailed in his heart and then, he saw two huge blood-colored light orbs appearing in the void.

Blood-colored light burst out from the light orbs and illuminating the surroundings slightly. This was a massive cave with nothing inside it.

And in the center of the cave, lay a colossal monster.

A menacing head, dragon horns rising towards the sky, pieces of black and shiny scales... everything was telling its identity:

The Dark Demonic Dragon!

“I knew it!”

Ling Jiu panicked.

“Insignificant gnat!”

The Dark Demonic Dragon spoke, as violent sound waves blasted out from its mouth, rendering Ling Jiu’s hearing ineffective as fear ran through him.

“You have been to the Dragon Valley, right?”

“Yes...yes!”

Ling Jiu trembled, being weak and helpless.

“Why did that fellow, Redfire, looked for you?”

The Dark Demonic Dragon continued to speak as if it was asking a casual question.

“This...”

Ling Jiu dithered.

“Hmmm?”

The Dark Demonic Dragon glared at him.

“Sir Redfire asked me to go to the Dragon Valley, one was to thank me for saving its child, and second, to get me to help it return to its homeland.”

Ling Jiu said tremblingly.

“Return to its homeland?”

The Dark Demonic Dragon’s voice suddenly raised a pitch higher, as its pair of blood-red eyeballs stared at Ling Jiu.

“That’s nonsense! The Dragonstar is a few light-years away from this planet! How could a weak planetary lifeform like you help it!”

“S-Sir, I have a way to make wormholes!” Ling Jiu whispered as much as he could.

“Create wormholes?”

The Dark Demonic Dragon choked a little and said with surprise. “Gnat, do you really have a wake to create wormholes?”

“Yes!”

Ling Jiu suddenly toughened up. “Give me a week to prepare. After a week, I will return and help you create the wormholes, provided you lot give me directions.”

Damn it, aren’t you just a Stellar lifeform? What’s there to be afraid of? These two fools obviously want me to help them return home. What do I have to be afraid of?

The one with nothing to fear is me!

“Gnat, if you dare to deceive me, I will pursue you to your death even if you escape to the ends of the universe.”

The Dark Demonic Dragon growled. “Don’t doubt my words, your kind cannot withstand my fury.”

“I’ve already said what needed to be said, I can’t do anything if you don’t believe it.” Ling Jiu shrugged and said nonchalantly.

“You...”

The Dark Demonic Dragon was displeased with Ling Jiu’s tone as it stared at him for a good while before it spat, “Get lost!”

The next moment, a gust hit him as Ling Jiu felt the world spinning again. When he recovered his senses again, he had returned to the surface of the planet.

And Wormhole 13 was not too far away.

“Bloody hell! That was dangerous!”

Ling Jiu heaved a long sigh of relief. This time, without any pause, he threw himself headfirst into Wormhole 13 to return to Mars.

Instead of returning to the Ares Plains, however, he went to the Antarctic Ice City and then to Pandora.

“9527, help me have a look at this!”

Ling Jiu took out his phone. This was a video he had captured earlier that showed the scene of his previous conversation with the great dragon earlier.

This was taken by a nanobot, and the great dragon was not aware of it. Perhaps it was aware of it, but it did not care.

All in all, he managed to capture the image of the Redfire Dragon.

9527 took the phone and looked for a while, saying. “This is a Nidhogg Dragons, and are Stellar lifeforms when they reach adulthood. A good species.”

“Nidhogg Dragons?”

Ling Jiu muttered, and then told 9527 his encounter at the infernal planet, before saying. “9527, should I help them in a week’s time?”

“Of course! Why shouldn’t you?”

9527 laughed. “The Nidhogg Dragons are a righteous race. If you help them, not only they will not kill you, they will repay you instead.”

“Also, if you don’t go, if that fire dragon and dark dragon were to break into Earth to look for you, it will undoubtedly be a disaster! The planetary lifeform on Earth may not be able to stop them.”

“This...”

Ling Jiu frowned deeply.

“The power of a Nidhogg Dragon is quite easy to tell.”

9527 said. “The length of their body represented their strength.”

“An adult Nidhogg Dragon will grow more than 100 meters, and every time it levels up, its length increases by another 100 meters.

“This fire dragon is more than 800 meters long, so it is clear that it’s a Level 8 Stellar lifeform.

“Eight hundred meters... Level 8 Stellar lifeform?”

Ling Jiu’s heart trembled. A Level 8 Stellar lifeform. He had heard 9527 mentioned that Emperor Might, the number one powerhouse on Earth was only a Level 6 Stellar lifeform.

Level 6 Stellar lifeform...

Level 8 Stellar lifeform...

A difference of two whole levels.

Not to mention...

There was not only one Stellar lifeform among the Redfire Dragons. That 500-meter-long great dragon... Was it not a Level 5 Stellar lifeform?

Also, the nemesis of the Redfire Dragon, the Dark Demonic Dragon, should not be weaker than it right? So, another Level 8 Stellar lifeform?

Ling Jiu could not imagine what would happen if he stood them up. Once they got furious and killed their way to Earth to look for him, what would happen?

“Do I really have to go?”

Ling Jiu said with a distraught look.

“It’s all right, don’t worry and just go.”

9527 laughed. “Oh right, you mentioned that the fire dragon gave you an egg. Take it out and show me.”

“All right then!”

Ling Jiu waved his hand and took the egg out.

“Hmmm?”

9527 made a ‘Hmm?’ sound, before placing the egg on the instrument to observe it carefully. After a long while, only did it start to mutter.

“So it’s such a lifeform!”

“How did such a lifeform came about here?”
