Never Judge

Chapter 907

Chapter 907

Guan Ming sat back with a smile as soon as news had reached him of the panicked state Lucius Ting was in.

He had his lawyers file case upon case against Luciust Ting starting last week. He knew the man was already stressed the moment those documents landed on his desk.

They amounted to money that Lucius Ting no longer had.

At the time when he was making deals with Guan Ming, he had believed that the Ortiz siblings were still on his side. Unfortunately for him, they were never on his side.

"What are you smiling about?" Camilla asked as she brought Guan Ming a cup of coffee and gently placed it down next to him.

Guan Ming was grateful of Cedric's consideration of their situation, he had asked Camilla not to work until the Lucius Ting matter was solved and to simply be there for Guan Ming.

Nothing inspired him to work harder than knowing that Lucius Ting was about to pay for everything he had done wrong to Camilla.

Guan Ming reached out for her and pulled her suddenly onto is lap and hugged her tight.

"It's almost time." Guan Ming gently placed a kiss on her temple as he held her tight. "You know, this is where you belong."

"I'm sure we would be sent out of so many places if I always sat on your lap." Camilla commented as she rolled her eyes at his attempt at being romantic.

Guan Ming couldn't help but laugh at her comment. She knew full well what he meant but she decided to give him a sarcastic answer instead.

"I want to get to know you better." Guan Ming whispered into her ear, making Camilla smile for a second before keeping a straight face.

"You already know me." She answered back as she tried to get off of his lap.

"I know a lot of facts about you, but I want to really get to know you."' Guan Ming sighed as he cupped her cheek and looked her in the eyes. "I want to know what makes you smile, I want to know what to do when you cry, I want to know how to chase away every fear and doubt."

Camilla's cheeks began to redden as she broke eye contact with Guan Ming.

No one had ever told her things like that, sure, Cedric and Ian were always there for her, but this was different. Even the smallest thing that Guan Ming did would make her heart skip a beat.

"We didn't go through our relationship the proper way." Guan Ming admitted as he recalled a conversation he had with Cedric in the past.

"No, we did not." Camilla said as she nodded in agreement. "But does that make our love any less?" She asked as Guan Ming pulled her closer to him.

"No, of course not." He told her in a stubborn tone. "Love is love."

"Love is love." Camilla nodded as she repeated his words.

"I just want to at least go on a proper date with you." Guan Ming laughed as he realized how silly his request was.

"What are you talking about, we go on dates all the time." Camilla said as she gave him a surprised look.

"I want to be out in public with you where we don't have to worry about anyone seeing us." Guan Ming declared. "I want to hold your hand and open the door for you. I want to sit across from you and get lost in your beautiful eyes with people around us. I am tired of hiding my love for you."

Camilla didn't know that she could blush even harder than she already did earlier, but Guan Ming's sweet words seemed to do the trick as she felt her heart beat faster with his words.

"Soon, we are almost there Camilla." Guan Ming promised.

"Did something happen with the Lucius Ting case?" Camilla asked as she knew that Guan Ming had now focused all of his efforts on taking down the man.

"A lot has happened, love." Guan Ming smiled proudly as he pointed at the laptop in front of him.

Locally the biggest news may have been the arrest of one of the economical and societal pillars of the country, but internationally it was a whole different story.

"This front page is for tomorrow." Camilla pointed out as she noted the date on the side.

"It is." Guan Ming told her with a nod. "My people sent it over to check if I am satisfied with this."

"And are you?" Camilla asked.

"It's only the beginning of the end." Guan Ming told her as his eyes narrowed. "Tomorrow the world will see how a corporation like my own suddenly turned it's back on a very promising start-up like Arch Group."

"You will look like the villain here." Camilla frowned as she realized more of the implications of his actions. "People will see you as the Goliath that decided to stomp on David. The narrative will go against you."

"It's what we need, for now." Guan Ming nodded as he knew she had realized what he was planning.

"You want to embarrass people for thinking the worst of you as well?" Camilla asked as she carried a stunned look on her face.

"I want people to realize that they need to use their brains and not just jump to conclusions. And the more involved they are in this matter the hungrier they will be to go after Lucius Ting for tricking not just me, but the people of this country as well." Guan Ming told Camilla.

"His fall has began, Camilla." Guan Ming said as he looked into her eyes once more.

Camilla reached out and toughed Guan Ming's cheek and gave him a sweet smile. For some reason she found it very attractive when he was this determined.

"I promise you, he will never hurt anyone again. We will take that abitlity from him and he will cease to exist." Guan Ming swore.

"Just don't lose yourself in the process." Camilla said as she gave Guan Ming a compassionate smile. "Oh, and don't forget, Cedric said don't leave him insane or dead."

Guan Ming laughed at how crazy Camilla's words sounded. But even if her words were quite odd, he knew that was Cedric's instructions.. Lucius Ting's suffering would not end with Guan Ming.
