Chapter 599: Sect leader Gerg

Chapter 599: Sect leader Gerg

When Justice previously known as Braylon didn’t return from the cursed wilderness and the sprint imprint on his spirit consciousness had disappeared, the entire assassin sect thought he was dead.

Except for his little brother, Neil, who believed that Justice was still alive and he would come back to him. When he was bullied by some of his fellow disciples, his brother came like a hero and protected him before taking Neil back with him.

“Brother, your new name is cool,”

Neil came out of his thoughts and tried to talk something with his brother.

“Haha…”

Justice knew his little brother too well. So, when he heard those words from his little brother, Justice could not help but laugh because his little brother just wanted to talk something with him.

“So, you want to hear my story of how I ended up here?”

After laughing for a moment, Justice asked his little brother while still continuing their walk towards his room.

“Yes, yes, yes. I want to hear it,”

Neil was very much curious regarding what happened to his brother. So, he excitedly nodded his head.

“When I was away on a mission…,”

Soon, Justice started his story with his little brother Neil, who was carefully listening to it as though it was a lecture from a King realm cultivator.

…….

Inside Ajax’s room,

While Justice and his little brother were walking towards their room, Ajax sat on his soft and comfortable bed as he silently asked the system inside his head, ‘System, what do you think about Justice’s little brother?’

Since he was an assassin sect disciple and he didn’t have full trust in any outsiders. So, he asked the system about it.

‘Ding,

Currently, he didn’t have any ulterior motives towards the host. So, the host can be relaxed.

‘Good,’

Ajax nodded his head after seeing the system notification and stopped bothering about Neil any longer.

‘His cultivation is already at commander realm and if I give him the system resources, then he will become the next senior brother Levi,’

The one thing he noticed about the consumable items given by the system, they work like magic on young cultivators when compared to the middle-aged and older people. So, Ajax felt that if he could trust Neil, he could help him increase his cultivation.

For example, he gave the monster peach to both Edmond and Levi; however, compared to Edmond, Levi had greatly benefitted from the effects of the monster peach.

‘Anyway, let’s see what kind of person he is,’

Since Justice was his brother, Ajax had many ways of knowing what kind of person Neil was and he could simply ask some questions to know his personality.

“It’s time to enter the battle tower. System, send me into the battle tower,”

Soon, he once again shifted his focus onto the battle tower and asked the system to send him into the battle tower.

‘Thud’

Soon, his body fell onto the bed with his eyes closed.

….

In the assassin sect main hall,

“First elder, second elder, you two are very good,”

The main hall was filled with the nine hall elders along with the sect leader of the assassin sect Gerg.

He looked at the first and second elders and scoffed at them for their actions during the past few months.

“Sect leader, it’s not our fault but the headquarters is giving us silly missions which are almost impossible to accomplish,”

The first elder didn’t fear the sect leader Gerg because he had already devised a plan to overthrow the current sect leader and replace him as a new sect leader.

So, he directly blamed the headquarters regarding the missions issued by them.

“What? Do you want our assassin sect to be destroyed? Fool. If the word regarding our connection with the headquarters was gone to be known publicly, then other powers will not hesitate to destroy us and take all our resources,”

The reason for the top powers not to attack other powers was because of their secret support from their backer; however, once a top power loses that backer, then it was a piece of fat meat hanging in the open for other top powers.

So, when he heard the first elder’s words, the sect leader Gerg stood up from his seat and angrily shouted at him.

“Don’t shout at me,” The first elder expressionlessly replied at the sect leader before moving back a couple of steps.

There was no respect in the first elder’s words or in his body language making the sect leader Gerg raise his brows.

“Yes, sect leader. It was not our fault. So, please don’t get angry on the first elder or anyone here,”

One of the elders replied with minimum respect on his face as he bravely talked to the sect leader Gerg.

“Haha”

Hearing those words, the sect leader Gerg looked at that elder and then slowly looked at each and every face of the elders sitting in front of him before starting laughing with a loud voice.

“So, you all want to stick together and revolt against me? Good good good,”

The sect leader Gerb stopped laughing and while speaking everyone could notice how angry he was; however, no one feared because the first elder had said a plan that would overthrow the sect leader Gerg.

“So, the first elder wants to become the sect leader of the Assassin sect,”

It didn’t take much time for Gerg to guess what was behind the behaviour change in the elders because, among all the elders, only the first elder was capable of making others revolt against him with his words.

“Sect leader Gerg, you have become old and you are unable to make suitable decisions to develop our sect. So, I think, it’s time for you to step down from your seat,”

There was a victory smile on the first elder’s face as he looked at the sect leader Gerb and replied to him.

“It’s not that easy for you….”

“How about now?”

Before the sect leader Gerg could finish his words, the first elder took out something that made the sect leader Gerb raise his brows.
