Chapter 276: Spiritual Sword Jiao
Chapter 276: Spiritual Sword Jiao
Great Ancestor Hong Ye and Yan Wu-Jiu exchanged a glance, seeing a hint of surprise and interest in each other’s eyes. The two of them looked deeply at the young alchemist with the bird on his shoulder, who had concocted the golden pellet. They also noticed another golden-blue pellet in his hand.
In the air, the golden pellet shook for a moment, before cracking open. A faint aura seeped through the cracks, spreading out towards the surrounding spells.
“Crack—!”
The battle pellet shattered.
What is this?
Jiao?
Is this a Jiao?
This must be a joke!
The overwhelming pressure that had just suppressed the alchemists was instantly cast to the back of their minds.
It must be fake!
All the Alchemists laughed loudly. Yue Jiang-Rui and some others even directed their unbridled ridicule towards Lu Ping.
Senior Martial Brother Qi and Senior Martial Brother Ye joined in the laughter, albeit in a very reserved manner that fit with their status as elite disciples of major sects. However, their scornful eyes were even more disdainful than anyone else.
On the contrary, the five alchemy geniuses and the long-necked monster alchemist didn’t laugh or mock Lu Ping. Instead, they looked at the somewhat strange and ridiculous-looking four-legged snake and were deep in thought. They wondered why the four-legged snake, which was supposed to be the manifestation of a spell, seemed to be adapting to its body as if it was an actual living soul?
Suddenly, Zhou Chuang and Ning Shi-Ze displayed expressions of disbelief.
The Enlightened Masters from the various organizations on the central white cloud remained impassive. They clearly knew about alchemists’ attitudes so they naturally wouldn’t laugh at any of them.
Not to mention that the strange looking four-legged snake was giving off a sharp and dominating aura that only the Enlightened Masters could perceive clearly.
Whether this was a Jiao or not, this four-legged snake was definitely a ferocious beast!
In the top seats, the five Master Alchemists’ expressions changed drastically, with a trace of disbelief, and even envy, in their eyes. Obviously, the Master Alchemists could observe much more from the four-legged snake.
“A spiritual battle pellet. How surprising.”
Yan Wu-Jiu sighed, “I was in the Early Core Forging Realm when I concocted my first spiritual pellet, or perhaps it was even later than that? It’s been so long that I can’t remember for sure anymore. Great Ancestor, I admire your wisdom. The battle pellet is the best way to not only test their alchemy, but also their strength at the same time. This way, the strongest cultivators from amongst the alchemists can be chosen to enter the Mauve Moon Minor World.”
Great Ancestor Hong Ye answered, “I never thought that he’d reach this level. People only know that Grandmaster Alchemists like us can concoct Avatar Realm pellets, but little do they know that the true standard to become a Grandmaster Alchemist is to be able to concoct divine battle pellets. Spiritual battle pellets are just one step away from divine battle pellets!”
Yan Wu-Jiu laughed, “There will always be geniuses that rise seemingly out of nowhere in the cultivation world. Instead of being envious of their potential, it is wiser for us to stick to our path. Otherwise, it’s easy for us to develop inner demons and mess up our own cultivation path.”
Great Ancestor Hong Ye laughed, “That’s right. As always, Wu-Jiu is wise. No wonder you could become a Grandmaster Alchemist before advancing to the Avatar Realm. Your state of mind is something that even I’m lacking and admire a lot!”
Yan Wu-Jiu laughed, “Great Ancestor, please don’t make fun of me. In my early years, Great Ancestor ignored our racial differences and provided me with guidance. If not for your teachings, Wu-Jiu might not even be here today.”
As the two of them were conversing, Yue Jiang-Rui wore a savage smile on his face and commanded his [Fire Sea Spell] to burn Lu Ping’s four-legged snake.
At the same time, the other alchemists who had unleashed the power of their battle pellets also moved. They commanded their battle pellets to fight each other fiercely.
When the fire sea wrapped around Lu Ping’s four-legged snake, a painful roar could be heard. However, Yue Jiang-Rui’s smug smile didn’t last long, as his face suddenly turned pale with his eyes wide in disbelief.
Within the sea of fire, a golden beast was rolling around, its golden limbs poking out from the fire sea from time to time. However, the limbs were larger than before.
So, the better the quality, the harder it is to control the battle pellet. Yue Jiang-Rui’s [Fire Sea Spell] is a timely help to control the battle pellet quickly!
Sometimes, one has to run before they can walk. Putting the four-legged snake into action immediately helped Lu Ping master its control.
Lu Ping smiled and cast a few hand signs. The massive golden beast suddenly broke free from the fire sea and soared towards the highest part of the sky.
The beast was now almost a hundred feet long, with eyes and claws sharp like swords. It shattered the fire sea in an instant. Yue Jiang-Rui’s face turned pale and he let out a muffled cry of pain.
A fire crow took advantage of Yue Jiang-Rui’s weakness and lunged towards him. Yue Jiang-Rui quickly commanded the second [Fire Sea Spell] to fight off the fire crow.
Lu Ping’s four-legged snake soared all the way to the top, crushing and tearing the spells that stood on its path. Eventually, the alchemists realized that the golden beast was unstoppable, and they avoided it.
Senior Martial Brother Ye and Senior Martial Brother Qi glanced at each other, but this time, instead of fighting between themselves, they tacitly launched an attack on Lu Ping together.
Lu Ping’s Spiritual Sword Jiao was approaching to the highest point of the sky where the alchemical geniuses and the monster alchemist had occupied, when suddenly, Senior Martial Brother Ye’s fire bird swooped down, and Senior Martial Brother Qi’s fire fox shot out its three fire tails.
Lu Ping sneered coldly. The Sword Jiao twisted its body like a spring and sprung forward, with the horn on its head suddenly shooting out. The fire bird hurriedly moved to the side but the sword horn still sliced three of the six plumes on its tails.
Then, the horn turned around and returned to the Sword Jiao’s head. The horn was actually a spiritual sword light!
Senior Martial Brother Qi’s face changed, and he hurriedly stopped his fire fox that was about to pounce forward. But, it was too late for the fire fox to retract its tails. The Sword Jiao swung out with its own tail, releasing a fan of golden sword lights that chopped the fire fox’s tails into pieces.
There was no mistake, this four-legged snake was a Spiritual Sword Jiao made up of spiritual sword lights!

Not only were the alchemists on the many white clouds shocked, the cultivators on the central cloud were also shocked. They sent out their divine sense and divine revelation to inspect the Sword Jiao.
When the cultivators’ divine sense reached the Sword Jiao, they felt a cutting sensation from its sharp aura. Even the Enlightened Masters were feeling uncomfortable when their divine revelation came into contact with the Sword Jiao’s aura.
However, they still managed to look at the Sword Jiao clearly. It turned out that the Sword Jiao was made up of 324 spiritual sword lights!
The cultivators sucked in a deep breath of cold air and collectively shifted their gazes towards Lu Ping, who was just a Blood Condensation Realm disciple.
What level of swordsmanship is this!?
At the highest point of the sky, the hundred-feet Sword Jiao glanced around with its sharp gaze, staring disdainfully at the violet charm, lightning chains, crystal palace, deadly gas, and towering tree!
