Chapter 1328: Moving on
Chapter 1328: Moving on
Office.
It felt awkward.
Chen Xiaomei noticed she had exposed herself and quickly turned away from Dong Xuebing to zip her jeans. But her dress was stuck on her waist, and she wore black stockings. She tried to zip it, and the top of her stockings were exposed from her back.
“Is it too tight?”
“No…”
“I might have bought a size smaller.”
“It’s fitting. It’s just my dress that is getting in the way.
Chen Xiaomei said and finally wore the jeans. She looked at it and loved it. She turned and showed Dong Xuebing. “What do you think?”
Dong Xuebing cleared his throat. “Yes… yes… it suits you.”
Chen Xiaomei said. “I think it looks good too. Thank you.”
The tight jeans showed Sister Chen’s legs, and she looked attractive.
Chen Xiaomei looked at the jeans for a while and said. “I will pair them with a pair of heels. Haha… thank you for the jeans. You are making me feel bad.”
Dong Xuebing thought to himself. I am the one feeling bad.
I got benefits from giving you this pair of jeans. This is worth it.
Chen Xiaomei could not wear the pair of jeans out of the office. She looked at Dong Xuebing. “I am taking them off.”
Dong Xuebing nodded and opened his drawer to get a packet of cigarettes. He did this to turn away.
The couch creaked. Sister Chen sat on it, and Dong Xuebing heard clothes rustling.
Dong Xuebing found his cigarettes and peeped at the couch. He saw Sister Chen’s jeans pulled down to her calves. But her dress was still hanging around her waist. He saw her black stockings on her ass.
Sigh… I should not be looking.
Dong Xuebing turned away again.
A while later, Chen Xiaomei said. “I’m done, Mayor Dong.”
Dong Xuebing turned and saw Chen Xiaomei had kept the pair of jeans in the bag. He stood up and said. “Ok. I shall not keep you here anymore. I am going to report to Mayor Jiang.”
Chen Xiaomei looked at him. “Thank you for your jeans and tea leaves. Come over to my place for dinner when you are free. I will cook for you.”
“Sure.”
“I am going off now.”
Chen Xiaomei turned and left the office.
Dong Xuebing looked at her ass until the door closed. He thought for a while and called Jiang Fangfang’s secretary's office to ask if she was around. He would not call before going to her office. But their relationship became awkward after she got drunk and masturbated in front of him. She treated him coldly after she sobered and avoided him. He felt helpless, but that was a show.
This cannot carry on.
This will affect my work, and I must get over it.
The phone rang for a while, and no one answered.
Dong Xuebing reached the Mayor’s office, and he hung up. He took a deep breath and knocked lightly.
“Come in.” Jiang Fangfang said.
Dong Xuebing entered. The secretary’s desk was empty. The inner room was opened, and he saw a woman holding a document. Jiang Fangfang was inside. Dong Xuebing entered the inner room and saw her. She wore a light-colored women’s suit, and her hair was tied up in a bun. She still looked so pretty and uninterested in anything.
“Mayor Jiang.” Dong Xuebing greeted.
Jiang Fangfang looked at him. “You are back.”
Dong Xuebing observed her and replied. “I just came back.”
Jiang Fangfang waved. “Sit. I thought you were still in the hospital and could not come back. How are your injuries?”
“Thank you for your concern. I am much better now.” Dong Xuebing sat opposite her and cleared his throat. He does not know what to say.
Jiang Fangfang did not say anything.
Both sat in silence for a while.
Jiang Fangfang looked at him and said. “I have not apologized for what happened at the family quarters.”
Dong Xuebing quickly said. “I should be the one apologizing.”
Jiang Fangfang interrupted. “Let me finish. I should apologize. I did some stupid things after I got drunk. I should not have done that. Luckily, it was you. I don’t know what would happen if it was someone else. I must apologize and also thank you.”
Dong Xuebing quickly replied. “What are you saying? It’s my fault.”
Jiang Fangfang smiled. “Let’s stop this. It’s not a big deal anyway. Everything is fine after we cleared the air.”
“Of course.” Dong Xuebing said. “I was afraid you would bear a grudge.”
Jiang Fangfang shook her head. “Why would I bear a grudge? It’s not your fault. It was me who thought you might be angry with me. I got drunk and said you reminded me of my dead husband. I should not say that. I know you are not him, and I hallucinated after drinking too much that day. I hope you don’t mind.”
“I will not.”
“Are you sure?”
“Absolutely not.”
“Good. Let’s forget it and move on.”
“Yes. Let’s move on.”
Jiang Fangfang looked at Dong Xuebing emotionlessly and said. “It was also a good thing. I am a widow and was alone for so long. I have my needs, and I believe you are the same. You should understand. We live in a conservative society, and no one talks about these. But I think there’s no need to avoid talking about it. You saw it, and so be it. At least this would help us understand each other better. I think this incident brought us closer. We are considered friends now. What do you think?”
Friends?
Got closer?
Huh? This is more than closer. You did that in front of me! But Dong Xuebing was relieved in his heart. Mayor Jiang spoke about it openly, which meant she had gotten over it. This calls for a celebration.
Jiang Fangfang asked. “Are you free tonight?”
Dong Xuebing blinked. “Yes. You are…”
Jiang Fangfang said calmly. “Come to my place for dinner.”
Dong Xuebing joked. “I will go if you are going to cook.”
“Yes. Come over.” Jiang Fangfang said. “I will buy groceries after work.”
