Quick Transmigration System: Male God, Come Here

Chapter 884 - Your Majesty The Merfolk, Hello (54)

Chapter 884 Your Majesty The Merfolk, Hello (54)

Bai Weiwei struggled to recall the scene just now, she was silent for a while before saying: “This person’s speech is getting better.”

When she left the ocean, wasn’t that silly merfolk still stumbling over every word?

But nowadays, he could speak more smoothly than her.

Also……

Bai Weiwei rubbed her red cheeks, “Really unbearable.”

Halfway through, she ran away, not afraid of endocrine disorders.

As soon as the system came back, it saw its host lying in bed, looking like she could rise to heaven.

“What? Thinking of me?”

Bai Weiwei: “Thinking of how you’re not dead yet.”

The system chirped: “Dead ghost, you’re so hard hearted.”

Bai Weiwei: “……”

Every time she thought her disdain toward the system had reached its limit, as a matter of course it would always unexpectedly come up with a way to disgust her even more.

Bai Weiwei rubbed her temple, “One small question, can Wake control the water, ah?”

System: “He could as long as he completely awakens his merfolk king abilities, ah.”

Bai Weiwei: “I think I should stop taking baths.”

If he came every time she bathed, sooner or later she would be killed.

System: “Why not bathe, it’s impossible for the male lead to rush through your water pipe to he-he you.”

Bai Weiwei was silent.

Then the system was silent.

– – – – – – – – – –

On the ocean floor, in the deepest part of the Eye of the Sea.

A violent current stirred and a tall figure appeared.

His eyes were even colder than the darkness in the Eye of the Sea.

His strength wasn’t enough, he stared at his hands, thinking of the softness that he had just touched.

He slowly closed his eyes, and continued to nurture his strength. He had the power to control water which allowed him to become an incarnation of water and appear anywhere in the world.

But, this required a tremendous amount of energy.

He was still unable to hold on for long.

Furthermore, the Eye of the Sea also needed him.

This was the price he paid for his trust in humanity.

No, it was the price of his trust in her.

The system extracted the data on the Merfolk’s Heart, “Because there are too many planes, the information on each plane isn’t complete. The library only has a portion of information from each plane.”

Bai Weiwei had been flipping through the information, “Merfolk’s Heart, Merfolk’s Heart ……”

She repeated a few times, and finally found some records on the Merfolk’s Heart.

The scraps of data were all ancient information about the Heart of the Merfolks or something.

The origin of the Merfolk’s Heart was the heart of a merfolk king.

The heart required both great sadness and strong love simultaneously to form.

This regaled the story about the merfolk king’s heart.

When that king was young, he saved a princess during a storm and put her safely on the beach.

The prince of the neighboring country had just arrived when the princess opened her eyes, and she thought it was that prince who saved her.

She fell in love with him at first sight.

And the merfolk watched from a distance, not daring to approach.

Even so, he was already in love with the princess……

Wait, why was this story so familiar.

Bai Weiwei’s indifferent expression finally couldn’t withstand it.

“What stupid information is this, ah. Even if you want to spout nonsense, you can’t just casually pick up a rotten fairytale off the street to deceive me, ah.”

Wasn’t this Andersen’s1 The Little Mermaid fairy tale?

Even three year old children have heard of it.

System: “Don’t mind it so much, what do you think after reading this story?”

Bai Weiwei tossed and turned, what could she think?

Did this kindergarten bedtime story require her to write an 800 word essay on her thoughts after reading?

Was there any difference in the later parts of the story?

Bai Weiwei endured her temper and glanced down.

1: Not to be confused with Disney’s The Little Mermaid, although Disney’s version, as well as pretty much every other princess / fairy tale movie Disney has, was based off of much older (and in my opinion) much better fairy tales (since they have morals outside of happily ever after). Andersen’s The Little Mermaid has a much more gruesome ending with the little mermaid dying and becoming sea foam since she refused to kill the prince (and lots of stuff in between). A much darker story overall. Also intresting is that Andersen (full name Hans Christian Andersen) is also known most for writing these fairy tales: The Princess and the Pea, The Snow Queen (aka Disney’s Frozen), The Ugly Duckling, and Thumbelina. If you want to know more about this, here is the wiki link that has a really detailed plot summery (Wiki) and here is the whole story (Here) it’s actually pretty short.↩
