Chapter 992 - How Were They to Fight?
Chapter 992: How Were They to Fight?
Lake Ze An, after the flood.
The Honorary Aristocrats who had been washed over by the floodwaters quickly regrouped.
After all, someone who had managed to get to such a position would not easily give up no matter what they were doing. The Black Flood Dragon might have evolved into a real Dragon, but it was the accomplishment of the Black Flood Dragon and had nothing to do with Hong Dali.
It was not strange that they would have such a thought. After all, none of them had seen Hong Dali and the rest riding on top of the Black Dragon’s head…
This was where it got interesting. Wuwei wanted to kill all of them, but Hong Dali would not allow it to. These people also wanted to kill Hong Dali and the other four, but whether they would succeed or not was hard to say…
These Black-level Honorary Aristocrats had been waiting here for a day.
There was nothing they could do. Now that Hong Dali and the rest could breathe underwater and also had the Green Dragon Wuwei guarding them, they slept soundly. It was likely they had not had many chances to sleep so soundly since leaving Earth…
The poor Honorary Aristocrats, however, did not sleep a wink all day and all night. After all, they had to pay attention at all times to see if Hong Dali had come out of the water. If he escaped, it would be very hard to catch up with him again…
Just like that, when the sun rose high the next morning, Hong Dali stretched lazily, contented. Then, he pouted, looked around, and asked in a daze, “What time is it?”
“9:30 in the morning.” Li Yang was indeed the number one lackey. He was very enthusiastic and replied immediately, “Young Master, what are we going to do?”
“It’s already 9:30?” Hung Dali sniffled. “Let’s go out and kill some people, then find a place to eat breakfast.”
The tone he said this in was very interesting. It was as natural as saying “Dad, I’m going for breakfast and then to school.”
Killing. The whole world was full of people who wanted his life, so killing a few people and even making their blood flow like rivers was not a big deal. Since they wanted to kill him for the bounty, they should have been prepared for the possibility that they would be killed instead.
So, in the warm sunshine, five people, including Hong Dali, slowly emerged from Lake Ze An and went ashore.
“It looks like everyone is still here.” Levis went ashore and looked arrogantly at the Honorary Aristocrats who were there. He sneered. “Do you all want to attack all together or one by one? It is best if you come all together, it’ll be much easier for me.”
The moment Levis’ words left his mouth, there was an immediate uproar!
They had seen arrogant people, but never one as arrogant as this!
Although Lake Ze An was a few hundred kilometers across, the Honorary Aristocrats had surrounded it, so there were actually not a lot of people at any one location. However, there were still at least a hundred or so people and as long as these hundred or so people could hold on for a while, they could expect a large number of reinforcements to arrive.
And, this person actually told them so arrogantly that they should all attack him together?
“There is a price to pay for being too arrogant! Let’s attack together!” Someone in the crowd screamed. These Black-level Honorary Aristocrats were extraordinary people in their respective galaxies. Although they dared not say that they could take Levis one-on-one, they at least had the self-confidence to face him 100 to 1. As they shouted, more than 30 people nearest to Levis rushed forward.
“Hehe, this is how you should show enthusiasm!” Levis laughed and instantly exerted all his strength. “Muscle control, 1000%! Heavy Gravity!” His body expanded instantly, and the muscles on both his arms had completely turned pitch black like ink this time. Then, his fists pounded the ground!
Boom!
An extremely loud noise was heard, then the ground sank where Levis’ punch had hit it and the 30 or so people who had rushed forward first were caught by Levis’ move and pulled in!
No one had known what it looked like when more than 30 people were squashed together. Now they knew.
More than 30 people were squeezed together, their entire bodies crushed into the ground by a huge downward force. Just when these people were in abject terror, Levis used Heavy Gravity!
“Heavy Gravity!” Bang! His fists again hammered the ground. The entire ground in front of him, an area that was at least 100 meters in diameter, was instantly compressed into a ball less than one meter in diameter!
Every single Honorary Aristocrat within range died instantly! Not even a drop of blood escaped!
Under tremendous pressure, even blood was unable to flow out.
Horrifying! This was too horrifying! It was a massacre!
These Honorary Aristocrats had seen powerful men before, but this was the first time they had seen one who was so powerful that it sent shivers down their spine and made their scalp tingle!
“Everyone retreat, retreat!” A voice in the crowd shouted, and all of them moved back in a mad rush.
Black-level Honorary Aristocrats were generally Fifth-Order Planet Warriors. They might not have reached the pinnacle, but at least midway through the level was the average. Also among these Honorary Aristocrats, there were definitely some powerful ones who had already fused with a soul stone.
But they were getting slaughtered in groups. Did that mean the man in front of them now was a Stellar-level Warrior?!
“Stellar-level, he must be Stellar-level! Everyone, run!” If he was just Planet-level, even a top-notch Planet-level, these people would still have the guts to fight him. At the very worst, they could at least hold out until reinforcements arrived. But if he was a Stellar-level, the situation was completely different.
Planet-level and Stellar-level were on two totally different levels and could not be compared at all.
“These people are too weak.” Levis looked at the Honorary Aristocrats who had already retreated far away and pouted.
The opponent was too weak to ignite his interest in fighting.
…
In the spacecraft which Razer and the others were on.
Razer stared dumbfounded at Levis who was displaying his strength. The drink in his hand was forgotten.
“Stellar-level?!” Fang’s eyes widened. “This person doesn’t seem to be Hong Dali, right? Is he Hong Dali’s friend? Subordinate? Just a subordinate and he is Stellar-level?!”
“He might not be an actual Stellar-level, but he is about there.” Razer said grimly, “Hong Dali has a Stellar-level warrior in his group? That’s not right, I saw him before. Before they entered Lake Ze An, he was not so strong. He has attained Stellar-level in such a short time?”
“Boss, do we want to attack?” Gahon looked serious for the first time. “This Hong Dali seems to be advancing fast.”
“There’s no hurry.” Razer touched his chin and frowned, deep in thought. Then, he said slowly, “We do not know exactly what this Hong Dali has. At the very least, we need to find out more about him. Also, we still have to wait for news from the Milky Way.”
“Okay, then we’ll observe for a bit more.” Both Fang and Gahon nodded.
…
On the other side, once Hong Dali and his group started fighting with the Honorary Aristocrats, all the other Honorary Aristocrats elsewhere got the news and they all charged toward Hong Dali’s position.
Thousands of people! Thousands of Black-level Honorary Aristocrats were all charging toward them. No matter how strong Hong Dali and his group were, it was absolutely impossible to take them all on. After all, if there were enough ants, they could kill even an elephant. No matter how strong a person was, he could not take on so many Black-level warriors all at once.
“Young Master, what do we do next?” asked Levis, who had moved back to where Hong Dali was.
“Need you to ask?” Hong Dali chuckled and said, “Of course we’ll go back and take a rest in the lake. We can come back and continue when we are rested.”
Once he said that, the mouths of Levis and the other three members of the team gaped open—that was simply too scheming, was it not? This would render them almost invincible, would it not? If they returned to the water after they were tired from killing, which of these Black-levels would dare follow them in?
That was not fighting, that was as good as them sending themselves to their deaths!
So, when the Black-levels all rushed over from all around, burning with the heat of battle, what they saw flabbergasted them—Hong Dali was standing in the water and waving at everyone with a smile on his face. “Goodbye for now, everyone. We’re going back to rest first and will return when we are rested. Hahaha, bye!”
Then, the five of them sank into the water and instantly disappeared from sight.
“Clatter…” “Clatter…” Those who held weapons in their hands dropped their weapons.
How were they to fight? If the other side came out to fight when they felt like it and retreated back into the water when they did not feel like fighting anymore, and Lake Ze An was guarded by Wuwei the Green Dragon, who would dare go in after them? Would they not be going to their deaths?
On the spacecraft, Razer and the other two were livid.
“Overlooked this. It seems that Hong Dali either can breathe in the water or has a cave in it.” Razer gritted his teeth. “No, I can’t wait any longer! If this goes on, the Black-level Honorary Aristocrats will run out of patience!”
He stood up angrily and said in a grim voice, “Let’s go, since Hong Dali likes to stay in the water, let’s force him out!”
Force Hong Dali out! Upon hearing this, Fang suddenly understood what he meant. “You mean, we tell him that his home planet and family are in our hands?”
“Yes.” Razer nodded. “Anyway, he’s here. He will not know exactly what is going on in the Milky Way. He will definitely be forced to come out if we say that. I don’t believe that he would simply watch while we flatten his home planet and not get forced out!”
“Okay! Hahaha!” Gahon was the one who was most satisfied with what Razor had said. “Finally, I have a chance to fight. I’ve been almost bored to death these two days. Let’s go now.”
“Re—” As the three of them were preparing to leave, a guard suddenly came in to report. “Reporting, My Lords, there is a Black and White-level Double Aristocrat named Xiao Shengzhe outside requesting a meeting.”
“Xiao Shengzhe?” Razer frowned. “From which galaxy?”
“The Spiral Galaxy.” The guard said respectfully, “He did not say much about anything else.”
“The Spiral Galaxy?” Razer muttered, then nodded. “Let him in, we’ll see what he has to say.”
The guard immediately went out to pass the message, and soon, Xiao Shengzhe, wearing the Black and White-level Honorary Aristocrat trench coat, came in.
