Chapter 338 - Envoy Part 1
Chapter 338 - Envoy Part 1
The old man's face turned red with anger. He couldn't believe these people were part of his clan! "You're telling me Lanta ran off, and no one reported it!? What the fuck are you all doing!?" The old man yelled, slamming his fist off the armrest of his chair. "Why was it not reported to me!?"
"Grandfather… We…" The three people in front of the old man were three desolate beast girls. Each one of these girls was part of the main family line. "Fourth Sister…"
"Speak! Spit it out!" The old man once again slammed his fist off the armrest of his chair, this time cracking it.
"She said she was sick of being locked up by an old geezer who only leered at her body even though they were related to each other by blood!" The poor girl yelled out all in one breath. As soon as she finished speaking, she quickly lowered her head to the ground. "Grandfather, these were Lanta's words! This was why she ran off!"
"Nonsense! When have I ever done such a thing!? I have only taken glances when you are bathing!" The old man's beard fluttered as he yelled. Spit flying all over the place.
"Grandfather, she was talking about a novel Second Sister wrote… Umm… Grandfather, do you really watch us…"
*Bam!*
"Why didn't you say so sooner! Of course, I would never do such a dirty thing!" The old man had sweat beads forming on his brow. He couldn't believe he had actually misspoke and told everyone that he peeps!
"But…"
"Shut up! Anyone mentioning anything about what was said here today will be killed without question! Send a party out to retrieve Lanta! You, three girls, go back!" The old man quickly closed the meeting. He couldn't take the strange looks the council members were all giving him. He couldn't let his image fall due to his loose tongue!
A search party was quickly formed. As for the three princesses, they made their way back to cherry court. Lanta's residence. "First Sister, will they be able to bring Lanta back?"
"We can only hope. I just hope those old war mongering bastards do not use this excuse to start a war."
"What should we do if they do?"
"We will find someone on the other side and stop them. We can not let our people begin to shed blood just because of the war hungry faction. We can only hope that there will be some beings on the outside that are able to stand firm."

"Creige, if you hold him like that for any longer, Baldswin's head will explode." Kana said as she grabbed Creige's arm.
"But he touched your tail…" Creige said, frowning. Someone else but him had touched his wife's tail!
"He didn't mean to do it on purpose. He tripped and fell! Why are you acting like he did something dirty to me?" Kana couldn't help but roll her eyes. Her handsome Husband had a habit of beating people up!
"If you say so…" Creige slowly loosened his grip, letting poor Baldswin go. He truly only tripped and reached out to grab the corner of the table. How was he supposed to know he would miss the table and grab hold of Kana's tail?
"Damn it, Creige! Is this how you treat your good brother!? You should know I would never try to touch your wife!" Baldswin, who was now free, quickly began screaming and yelling. After blowing off some steam, he turned to Kana and bowed his head. "Kana, thank you for helping me just now, or that bastard would have popped my head like he popped your cherry."
*Slap!*
"Ouch damn Creige! Why did you slap me!?" Baldswin yelled out while holding his cheek that was swelling up.
"Watch your mouth!" Creige snorted before going back to what he was doing.
While three people were each doing different things inside the weapon shop, a certain wolf girl stood on a building not far away with a pair of magi binoculars. This pair of magi binoculars was a bit of a special item since it could see through walls. Seeing how close the lizard girl was to the man she had set her eyes on she gritted her teeth as she held back the urge to scream.
"Why!? Why does he treat her so differently!? Why couldn't I be the one!? If I can just get rid… Hey, where did she go? Ahhh!" The wolf girl had completely lost sight of her target but then the next second she felt a sharp pain in her side as she hurtled through the air, flying across the rooftops with nothing to stop her.
"Humph!" Kana snorted as she dusted her hands off and then rubbed her belly. "When you're born you will need to help your mommy keep the flies away."
The next day Kana, Creige and Baldswin were all standing at the main entrance of the weapon ship staring at a short stout man with red robes on and a crown on his head. This said short stout man was pressing his head against the floor of the weapon shop with tears in his eyes. "Creige! I beg of you please come speak to the envoy that is almost here about the situation at hand! I will give you any compensation you want, even if you wish for the throne! Only you will be able to contain the situation before we have a chance to explain things on our end."
"Why should I get involved with you mundane things? Why is it that your people slacked off when they were supposed to be guarding the borders? How do bandits even get that far out? You slacked on guarding the forest and now you have brought a calamity not only on to Stone Hammer but me and my wife as well. Wouldn't it be easier to just give them your head as compensation?" Creige's voice was cold and void of emotion. He did not understand why they would allow for such a thing to happen in the first place. Every other king had kept guarding that border as the top priority to keep these kinds of things from happening.
