Chapter 398 - Incident At The Academy Part 2
Chapter 398 - Incident At The Academy Part 2
At this time, Kana's aura was felt all over District 7. At the elementary academy, Rain and angelica looked towards the goddess academy after feeling the familiar aura. "Someone angered mama…"
"Mmm… They're probably going to die…" Angelica nodded her head.
Yana stared in the same direction feeling slightly worried. She just hoped her mama would not get hurt.
Creige also stopped what he was doing as he looked in the directions of the academy and let out a sigh before going back to his work. He was keeping a close eye on his connection with Kana in case he needed to rush to her side.
But these four were not the only ones who raised their heads. Miss Mairin, Hoollon, and Grandma Dawson also raised their heads and teleported to the location of the aura. What they saw was enough to send shivers down their spines. The whole area around Kana was now dead. The grass has turned to dust, only leaving behind the dirt on the ground, and that area was quickly expanding.
Kana tilted her head towards the sky, looked at Grandma Dawson, and sneered before turning back to the group of girls who were completely frozen in place out of fear. "Those who commit sins should repent. Gisel, I gave you a warning yesterday, but you did not listen."
Kana raised her hand and was about to cast a spell when an old voice yelled from above. "Wait!" Grandma Dawson flew down and stood in front of Gisel. "Miss Kana, show this old woman some face and spare my granddaughter's life."
"Old Lady, I have had enough of this bullsh*t. Don't act all kind to me to my face, then talk sh*t about me behind my back. Do you not think I do not know what you and your good granddaughter were planning to do? Do you think I am easy to use? Do you think you can use me as a knife to kill your foes, just to grab benefits for yourself?
"I am sick and tired of always being the nice guy when there is nothing but stupid people acting all high and mighty just because of their backing. You did not teach your granddaughter well enough. Not only did she not learn her lesson yesterday, but instead of disciplining her so she would never do it again, you actually went and plotted against me. I do not think the realm of gods needs a family named Dawson in it any longer." Kana's words were cold. Her eyes showed no hint of any feelings at all. At this moment in time, looking at this grandmother and granddaughter, she felt nothing. She only saw two people who deserved to die.
Grandma Dawson gritted her teeth as she eyed the area the withering was taking up that was still slowly spreading out. She even noticed that Dandan was standing next to Kana and was unaffected by it. What scared her the most was how Kana knew about their plans. But she knew she still act as if she had no idea what Kana was talking about because if anyone really found out that she had acted in such a way, it would be a huge loss of face for her Dawson family when the Goddess of Death is a revered goddess. "Miss Kana, I do not know what you are talking about. " She felt playing dumb was the right move…
"Oh? You don't know? Hah!" Kana signaled Aoi through her connection, and a pool of water appeared in front of her.
"What's wrong?" Aoi asked.
"Aoi, can you replay what you saw last night?" Kana asked as she raised an eyebrow at Grandma Dawson.
"Mmm… One second I will send it through my pool." Aoi answered, and seconds later, an image of two people talking could be seen.
Seeing the image of her and her granddaughter talking caused Grandma Dawson to begin to sweat. "This… This is fake!"
"So you're telling me my water elemental, who is contracted to me, is lying to me? Are you an idiot? Or are you starting to go senile from old age? Hoollon!" Kana yelled out.
"Miss Kana!" Hoollon appeared next to Kana and landed on the ground. As soon as he did the withering in the spot he stepped disappeared. "What can I help you with?"
"I want the Dawson family to no longer exist. If we let such idiots roam our lands, we will end up looking like the dark side this old woman's daughter spoke of." Kana did not want to dirty her hands with this matter. She did not want to waste more time than she had to on these people. She was already behind, held up from her classes, and if she had to take out the entire Dawson clan on top of it, it would only dig into her time with her babies.
"Consider it done. But can I ask Miss Kana to retract your withering? The other students didn't do anything wrong." Hoollon asked in a servile manner.
"Mmm… I am late for class anyways. Miss Mairin, I won't get points deducted because of this, right?" Kana looked up at the sky once more and asked.
"Of course not! This isn't your fault. And Kana, can I ask you to take Dandan under your wing? Having her stay at the academy is not good for her. She needs to see more than what is inside the academy gates." Miss Mairin asked. She only asked because she felt bad for Dandan, she had no other place to go besides this academy. Miss Mairin hoped Dandan could live a regular life.
"I do not see why not. But it is up to her, though." Kana answered and looked at Dandan. "What do you think? Want to come live with me?"
"Can I?" Dandan looked at Kana in surprise.
"Mmm… after classes today, come home with me. We can talk more on the way to class. We will be late at this rate." Kana said before canceling her dragon form and taking Dandan by the hand and heading off to class.
As she walked away a figure with a blue dress on, stared at Kana's back while biting her fingernails. "This bitch! I did not think she was this powerful. I will need to make some adjustments to my plans…"
