Chapter 94: Judgement
Chapter 94: Judgement
<You can get the ‘Supreme Dominance’ for 1,200,000,000 Energy>
‘Woah, that’s a lot. But I guess I can afford it. Buy it,’ Ning said.
<Confirmed>
Information about the new technique entered his mind. Supreme Dominance. Just as the name, it dominated anything’s mind, turning them into one’s subordinate, whether they be beasts or humans.
However, the stronger the mental strength of the target, the more energy was required to dominate.
He placed his hands on top of the beetle’s mind and said, “Dominate!”. Suddenly, the system notified that he lost 18 Million energy. Ning didn’t know if that meant the beetle had a high mental strength or weak, but since the energy cost was low, he accepted it.
“Stop eating,” he said. The beetle suddenly stopped eating the seeds and looked towards him. Night also stopped eating to see why but just as quickly returned to eating.
The beetle, however, kept on waiting for more command.
“You can eat now,” he said.
The beetle went back to eating the seeds. Just as the information in his head said, the technique didn’t do anything to the beasts aside from adding a single info in their head. Follow the caster’s commands.
That was all, and that was all that was needed.
“Now that I think about it, what is your cultivation base?” he wondered and checked.
2nd Qi Condensation Realm
“Urghh so weak. Doesn’t matter, I will find good cultivation techniques for you both now. After I just unlock the 2 caps for Kinetic energy. Alright, come in you both, you can eat later,” Ning said and put both of them back into his beast pouch.
He smiled as he got happy that he found another great beast.
He looked around at the dead people and beasts. He sighed but did nothing and left. Since he had nothing more to do in the forest, he went back to the sect.
Along the way, he saw a few more people, but all of them were giving him weird looks. Ning just ignored them.
‘Sigh, it’s still cloudy,’ Ning thought as he sighed.
“It’s him. That disciple right there, that was the disciple that tried to kill me.” A voice came from not far away from Ning.
Ning looked to the front and realized that it was Yacius, along with the remaining man from the group of 6. It seemed they had brought along 5 elders from the sect.
‘What does he want now?’ Ning wondered.
“Disciple, stop right there,” one of the elders came forward and ordered Ning. Ning didn’t know what was happening but he did as the elder ordered.
“That’s him, elders. That’s the disciple that attacked me while we were hunting for our Great Shelled Silver Beetle and killed most of my father’s people who were with me,” Yacius said.
“What? It was you who tried to kill me. Stop twisting the facts,” Ning said angrily.
“What twisting the facts? If 7 of us wanted to kill you, you would be dead by now, not us,” Yacius said. “Not only did he steal my would-be pet, but he also killed my men and even tried to kill me. Please Elder, you have to get justice for me,” he screamed as if the deaths of his people had affected him a lot.
“We will soon know the truths. Disciple tell us, where did you get that blood on your clothes?” the elder asked.
‘What?’ Ning thought as he looked down and realized only now that his whole body was covered in blood. “This… I killed his people. They were coming after me to steal my bird,” Ning said.
“Lies, we did no such thing,” Yacius screamed.
“Silence. So you admit that you killed their people huh. Then can you show us the beasts in your beast pouch?” the elder said.
Ning took out Night from the beast pouch and said, “This is the beast that they wanted to steal elders. They wanted my Night Snatcher, so they surrounded me and attacked me,” Ning explained.
“Hmm… what about your other beast?” the elder asked.
“My other beast?” Ning paused. “What about my other beast?” Ning asked.
“Show it to us,” the elder said.
Ning deliberated for a moment on whether to show the beetle or not, but if he didn’t, they would get highly suspicious of him and might even believe the guy’s lies. So, he brought out the beetle.
“Oh,” the elders said in amazement. It was not every day one saw both Night Snatcher and Great Shelled Silver Beetle together.
“Can you tell me how you got the beetle?” the elder asked.
Ning explained the circumstances of how they met by chance and the men following it tried to kill him for his bird. After killing the men, he tamed the beetle.
“I see. You say you were attacked by them. Can you show us your wounds?” the elder asked.
“My wounds?” Ning checked all of his body, but it was all healed. “I don’t have any,” he said.
“Oh, you managed to kill 5 people without getting wounded? Commendable,” the elder said. Ning sighed in relief thinking the elder was seeing his truths.
“Commendable, yes. But only if you were saying the truths,” the Elder said.
“What? No, I am telling the truth,” Ning said.
“Hah, you want us to believe that you managed to fight 7 people with cultivation bases higher than yours, killed them, and took the beetle because they happened to meet you and wanted to kill you? You think I was born yesterday?” The elder said angrily.
“No, but I am telling t— ” Ning tried to say, but was immediately cut off.
“Shut up. We will hear not one more lie coming from your mouth. If it were a normal fight, we would’ve let you go. But, for trying to take the life of another disciple of the sect, I, Sihou, an elder of Mist Origin sect, hereby expel you from the sect. You may never land your feet inside the sect ever again.”
