Rise Of The Anti God

Chapter 177 - Be My Friend

Reva was still trying to come to terms with his sudden and fast breakthrough when he suddenly extinguished the flames on his body and became buck naked.

Unknowingly, his clothes had already been turned to dust because of his flames. Before he realized it, he was already flashing off his manhood before Reva.

Seeing his naked body come into sight, her eyes widened. Her eyes inadvertently moved as if pulled by a magnetic force toward his sleeping dragon, and her cheeks flushed slightly.

"Tch…" She turned away instantly as she closed her eyes. Her brows furrowed as she said in a vexed tone, "Stop simply standing there and dress yourself up!"

"Oops, sorry, teacher. My flames got out of control." Damien chuckled as he put on a new set of clothes. He had to admit thought it was cute to see a faint reddish hue on her cold face.

He never expected that he would awaken his Fire seed this soon nor thought about his clothes catching fire.

He was inwardly excited that now he had two active seeds in his ethereal core. A Lightning and Fire seed. But of course, the power of his Fire seed and his comprehension of Fire Laws couldn't be compared to that of his Lightning.

For now, he decided to use his Fire seed to concoct pills during the alchemy class as his Fire seed was still not powerful enough to be used in a fight.

Reva tried her best to scrape out the forbidden image she unconsciously saw. But no matter how much she wanted to forget it, those images kept flashing in her mind like lights.

And because of her powerful soul, what she saw was stark clear in her mind even though she didn't glance at his manhood for more than a second.

She never thought she would have to see a man's manhood in her life as she preferred solitude. In her eyes, most men were people who only saw women as tools to satisfy their egos.

She chastised herself why she had to look down and see such a mentally graving thing.

Damien noticed Reva's eyes catching sight of his manhood and grinned inwardly seeing her abashed face.

'She is still a young maiden after all.' Damien thought that no matter how mature Reva was, she was still a nineteen-year-old in heart and mind.

"Teacher Reva, you can look."

After making sure he had put on his clothes, she slowly turned towards him and looked at him with a cold glare. She was inwardly angry that her eyes were stained by something so untasteful because of him.

But at the same time, she had no good reason to castigate him as it seemed that even he didn't realize his clothes burned away.

Thinking about it, she thought that his Fire seed must have been unstable, as he said since it must take some time to adapt to power itself using the Etheric Fire Laws.

Damien gave a light bow as he said, "It's all thanks to teacher I was able to awaken my Fire seed and breakthrough. Teacher is truly a genius, as the rumors say."

Her expression softened a bit, seeing that he didn't try to poke fun at her for looking at his manhood and instead was complimenting her.

"It was not only because of me you were able to awaken your Fire seed. Your ability to have precise control over your etheric flames and to use your etheric flames to awaken your Fire seed was your idea…not mine."

Reva was inwardly impressed that no matter how cocky Damien seemed, he would deliver just as he says.

'This girl is surely unpresuming.' Damien felt like the more he spent time with Reva, the more she seemed a bit different than he expected.

Even though she was the one who proposed to him the foundational idea to awaken his Fire seed, she didn't seem to take credit for it. It was as if she only proposed something ordinary when in fact, no one else in the continent had ever come up with such an idea.

"Did teacher also start learning alchemy as a child, and who taught you?" Damien asked curiously.

Reva's azure eyes moved, "Yes, but you don't need to know who taught me. Class is finished for today. You can leave," Reva said in a cool tone.

She turned towards her table and started scribbling something on a scroll. Upon closer look, Damien noticed that she was trying to write medical formulas for a Rank 6 Pill.

'Wow, Rank 6 Pill! As expected of a prodigy.'

However, he noticed that she was having some trouble finding a solution to some inconsistencies in the formula.

He took a chair from his soul space and sat down near her.

Reva frowned and looked at him, "What are you still doing here? I told you the class is over." She was absorbed in writing her medical formulas that she didn't expect Damien to be here still.

"Okay, since the class is finished, you are not my teacher anymore for today, right?"

"That's right," Reva said with narrowed eyes thinking what he was up to this time.

Damien smiled, "Then I am free to stay here as long as I want to, right? Nor can you order me around since you are not my teacher anymore for today. Isn't that so?"

Reva gave a glaring look and was about to leave, thinking that she would work on her medical formula somewhere alone and quiet.

However, her movements paused as she heard his words when Damien said, "If you use the Ash Bindweed instead of the Shrine Berry, your medical formula will add up."

She gave a doubting look to him and looked at her scroll. Her expression became pensive as she tried to do some calculations in her mind.

After a few moments, she asked with raised eyebrows, "How did you know?" She was surprised that Damien was able to easily solve a problem she was having trouble with for a week. After all, it was not just a Rank 1 or Rank 2 medical formula she was trying to come up with.

But it was the rare Rank 6 Pill, and to come up with a medical formula for such a powerful pill was no easy task even for renowned alchemists.

However, Damien was just a seventeen-year-old boy who was coming from the Rong Empire. How could he be so knowledgeable in alchemy?

At first, she almost ignored his words but thought it wouldn't hurt to see if he was right or wrong. She confirmed at least a few times and found that her medical formula checked out perfectly after following his suggestion.

In fact, if one was able to follow the formula thoroughly and had the right talent to concoct pills, there wasn't much of a chance of failure.

It was common for alchemists to concoct some failed pills sometimes.

There wasn't a 100% chance of success. Even the most expert alchemists can't guarantee 100% success always.

But Damien's suggestion lowered the chances of failure but not entirely as there were other herbs included in the formula.

Damien softly chuckled, hearing her question, "Secret. But I can tell you and even help you with other medical formulas if you become my friend."

Reva pressed her lips together and said in a restrained tone, "No need. Forget that I asked." She didn't expect him to ask such a thing and felt strange hearing the word 'friend'.

Seeing her expression, Damien asked, "You don't have a friend, right? Let me be your first. Friends help each other, and you already accepted my help by using my suggestion. Or just because I am your disciple, will you take credit for what I said?"

"Of course not. You can ask me anything else, but I don't need a friend at all. I can give you a significant percentage of spirit stones from every sale of this pill." Hearing his words, Reva felt that she should give him back something for taking his help.

"Nope, no can do. Materialistic things are meaningless to me. Why is it so hard to become my friend? You even took advantage of me and looked at my naked body. You have stolen my honor and dignity. Do you think I can marry now? Sigh…it's truly not fair just because you are a princess." Damien said with a petulant sigh.

Reva felt baffled hearing his words. When did she become such a sinner that she took away his honor and dignity? And it was not like she looked at his naked body on purpose.

But the way he said it sounded as if his future life was bleak and no woman will marry him. She guessed that Damien was simply messing with her, but she couldn't come up with a retort.

She felt so exasperated and thought why she had to be stuck with him just when his clothes got burned away.

Damien continued in a sulky tone, "Fine, if you don't want me as your friend, that's fine. But at least, let me see you as my friend. Or is that too much as well after everything that happened? You should take responsibility for your actions otherwise––"

"Fine. But you can't talk about this to anyone else nor bring this up to me again. Whatever happened today won't be talked about again." Reva warned with a glowering look. She didn't want him to use that as an excuse to mess with her in the future.

"Sure, Reva," Damien said with a devilish smile.
