Chapter 406 - The Chaos Ethereal Core
Yuria proudly smiled as she crossed her arms and asked, "How did you know?"
"How could my woman not be special?" Damien chuckled.
"You smooth talker…" Yuria mumbled in a coy tone as she beamed, feeling flattered.
But then she looked at him with a narrowed gaze and asked, "But for real...how did you know? It could have been any hidden expert who could have concocted it, right? Maybe Alchemist Azrael was dealing with us behind the scenes."
"Haha…" Damien couldn't help but laugh slightly, making Yuria purse her lips, wondering if she said something funny.
"I am Alchemist Azrael," Damien said as he slowly raised his hand, and within a few moments, flickers of jet-black flames began to manifest on his palm, making Yuria stare at it with a baffled expression.
"No way…" She mumbled as she looked at the jet-black flickers with widened eyes, and not long after, those flickers turned into tiny flames.
She then stared at him as she asked, "So you are really the 'senior' Alchemist Azrael and can also concoct Supreme Tier Pills? Why go to the length of having such a disguise...oh wait...I see...you wanted to deter others from taking advantage of you. Wow...a great idea indeed. But what's with the strange color of the flames?"
"It has something to do with the peculiarity of my soul though not much is clear to me. I am still seeking answers," Damien said with a shrug.
"Well, then I guess it's time I revealed mine…" Yuria told Damien about the specialty of her soul and ethereal core, making Damien raise his brows in surprise since her uniqueness sounded quite powerful if nurtured.
He felt that with her Soul of Spirits, she could do a lot of potential damage in the future, especially with the Spirit Weapons.
Still, he couldn't understand why the deal was with her ethereal core, and Luna spoke right when he was about to ask, "She has the Chaos Ethereal Core."
"The Chaos Ethereal Core? What's that?" Damien mentally asked while thinking that the name itself sounded powerful.
Damien began to ask Yuria other casual questions so that in the meantime, it wouldn't look weird while he was conversing with Luna mentally.
"Chaos is said to form when all the elements fuse together, as it is a known fact that the elements were born from the Chaos. That is why she has only one ethereal seed. Anyway, again, this is not something that should be present in a mortal, especially not in this weak plane. But now I am not getting surprised like before because I realized that whenever you are involved, there is always something like this, which only furthers my theory that you are definitely a part of a bigger game."
Damien was mentally silent for a few moments before he asked, "So her Chaos Ethereal Core allows her to manipulate all the elements?" Damien felt that having control over all the elements was too overpowered.
"To an extent, yes. But only the basic six elements and not anything like the Light or Darkness elements and higher. Anyway, right now, she is not at all a master in handling all the basic elements, maybe only to a limited level at best. She has a long way to go before she could truly unleash its potential and do more than just doing basic tricks with the elements."
Damien inwardly let out a sigh, realizing how all his women were overpowered in one or the other way.
"So how did your kingdom get their hands on these Spirit Weapons?" Damien asked as this thought popped up in his mind.
Yuria had an astonished look and asked curiously, "How did you know about them? They are supposed to be top secret. In fact, other than the Lancaster Empire whom we had secret trades with, nobody else was supposed to know we had them."
"I told you...the Gale Empire is serious, especially because of the Spirit Weapons your kingdom holds. So it is not surprising if they have planted a spy deep within the ranks. I guess it's high time you told your father to do a screening and get rid of the spies."
Yuria's brows wrinkled in worry as she nodded with a sigh, "Ugh...I really hate the imperial family. They just can't leave us alone, can they? I bet they are not satisfied with their powerful Spirit Weapon and want more from us. Greedy wolves..."
She then looked at Damien and answered his question, "Actually...I made them."
Damien's lips parted in awe, but then again, now that he knew about her soul's uniqueness, he found that it made sense.
"I thought maybe you would be able to create Spirit Weapons in the future, but I never expected you knew how to create them already. How do you do it?"
"Hmm...I really don't know. I actually love making weapons more than pills, and when I forge weapons, I feel like my will and thoughts are getting pulled into the weapons I create. So I guess that's how the weapons develop their own consciousness, and they are just like newborn babies, throwing tantrums and not listening to my commands always. I would have to teach them things, and it's really fun. I am sure you will find it even more interesting when you get one of your own," Yuria said in an excited tone.
Damien was surprised, "I will get one? Don't tell me…"
Yuria happily nodded, "Yes. What do you think the special prize for the winner who came out on top is?"
"A Spirit Weapon...Wow, if I had known this, I might have personally participated, haha. Still, it's really amazing you could create them. But wouldn't your father be worried about giving away such a powerful thing to some other party if I was not there?" Damien curiously asked.
"Nah, he was confident that Maximus would win if you were not there. And since he already knows about this, we are safe."
"He has the hots for you. You do know that, right?" Damien asked with a veiled smile.
Yuria hugged him and asked with a teasing smile, "Are you jealous? Don't worry. The only man in my heart will always be you." She then moved her face up for a quick loving kiss before saying, "Now...let's now make papa come here again. He must be expecting us to give you your reward."
Damien nodded with a smile as the two left the underground chamber.
