Rise Of The Anti God

Chapter 517 - Who Won?

But right before Yohr could relax…

An ethereal and pure white ray of energy blasted away Yohr towards the other side of the icy chamber, making his back smash against a few icy spikes embedded on the wall before falling down on the ground.

Damien fell down on the ground and was slowly coming to his senses as he slowly looked up and saw Luna flying over to Yohr, grabbing his tail and lifting him up before smashing him down towards the frozen pool and disappearing into the icy water along with him.

"Get over here, you little despicable snake!"

"HISSS! NO!!" Yohr roared and hissed in despair, but he felt like an ant in the grip of the Ethereal One, unable to shake her off and could only helplessly watch himself being plunged into the icy pool of water.

However, he wasn't that worried since Luna was also following him into the depths of the water, and as the ruler of the seas, why would he need to worry about getting defeated in his own domain?

"Luna…no…" Damien wasn't in the mood to think how impressive it was for Luna to lift Yohr by his tail and smash him down into the frozen pool but the fact that she disappeared into the icy water along with Yohr and had no idea what she was planning to do or if she was going to be okay.

He could remember catching a glimpse of her ethereal figure that seemed a bit blurry, her expression pale, and knew she was pushing herself to the limits to save him.

He didn't even have enough energy to give her if she expended energy beyond recuperation.

Still, he crawled over to Valentina to make sure she was alright despite the intense fatigue and pain he was feeling in his head after burning 20% of his soul essence in total, reducing it to 55%.

Valentina was still unconscious as her huge body was slowly expanding in and out as she breathed, her injuries rapidly recovering though she had thoroughly exhausted herself after fighting and healing her own injuries.

He still felt it a bit surreal knowing that he had seen her die and get shattered into icy fragments right before his eyes and thought that just like the people he lost in his past life, he was going to lose her forever.

But to think that the method to save her was lying within him and even was accessible to him when he needed it the most was quite astonishing, even if the price was brutal. For just a second of going into the past, he would have to sacrifice 1% of his soul essence. Even if he kills himself by burning 100% of his soul essence, he wouldn't even get two minutes out of it, not that it was possible or viable.

Still, he couldn't help but feel immense gratitude towards the late Anti-God for giving him such a powerful legacy. He couldn't imagine how weak and helpless he would have been without it.

"Sleep well…Valentina…" Damien lovingly caressed her soft fur as he used his spiritual connection to summon her physical body inside his soul space. Since she had imprinted on him and belonged to him, he could summon her in and out if she was unconscious.

He felt that she would recover faster inside his soul space since she would be surrounded by his soul energy and feel his warmth.

He also saw that Reva was unconscious as well and quickly ran over to her, panicking at first but then felt relieved to see that she was just unconscious even though he couldn't understand why when he didn't notice any injuries on her body other than some light ones.

Upon inspecting her soul, he sensed that her soul plane had taken some damage, and till her soul healed, she wouldn't be waking up. He clenched his fists, knowing that Reva ended up in this state because of her trying to protect him from Yohr, and felt even more sad and guilty.

He lifted her gently and made sure to lay her down in a safe and comfortable space, and decided to let her rest and wait till she woke up again. To fasten her healing process, he passed down a Soul Revitalizing Pill down her mouth, hoping that she would feel more comfortable.

However, now that he had made sure Valentina and Reva were safe, he crawled towards the pool to look for Luna and see if she needed his help. He had no idea what was going on, but tremors were passing through the ground like an earthquake, proof that a huge battle was taking place down below.

"Luna…" Damien slipped and lost his balance due to these tremors and also because he barely had enough energy to keep him going, especially after enduring all the physical and mental pain.

He could hear his bones rattling and creaking surrounded by all this coldness, and his muscles had become stiff and numb.

Still, he used the Fire elemental seed inside his ethereal core to warm himself up and gain some freedom of his limbs to move forward.

However, not a few moments after, the tremors suddenly ceased, making Damien realize that one of them finally won…but who? He wished it was Luna and hoped that nothing bad happened to her.

He knew Yohr wouldn't be able to kill her, but he was afraid that he would try to take over her powers while she was weakened, just like he tried to take his Origin Seed.

*Crack…*

Damien suddenly heard the icy layer of the pool cracking and melting…no…he was able to see that the icy water was rippling, and yet another wave of tremors passed through the ground, making him wonder if the battle was still not over.

*Boom!*

Suddenly a brilliant pillar of white light shot out of the icy pool, blinding Damien's eyes as he shielded them with his hands and continued to since the brilliant white radiance was not disappearing away, and he had no idea what this was or where it was coming from.

But based on what he knew, he guessed that this must be Luna's doing though he had no idea what she was doing.

Right now, even if he had the energy to walk and fight, he knew he couldn't just dive into the icy pool since he couldn't interfere if Luna was busy battling Yohr.

He had already got taken hostage before and learned his lesson.

Suddenly he felt the pillar of white light dimming away as the tremors began to cease again. Damien was becoming more anxious and worried the more these inexplicable events continued to take place, and the longer Luna remained inside the waters.

He opened his eyes and saw that the pillar of white light had indeed disappeared.

"Master!" Damien sensed Kalypso suddenly appearing before him, and with just a thought, he understood from her that she had become unconscious after expending her energy by fighting Yohr.

Her beautiful eyebrows relaxed as she sensed that Damien wasn't suffering from any life-threatening injuries, but she was baffled by Luna and Yohr's disappearance, to which Damien quickly explained mentally what happened while she was out.

"That goddess…she indeed cares a lot about you, Master. Hmph, there is no way that annoying goddess would lose that easily," Kalysp said with pursed lips, though inwardly she felt a lot of gratitude towards Luna for saving her Master while she yet again was unable to protect him the entire time. It only made her more angry and disappointed at herself for being so useless.

*Whoosh!*

Damien nodded softly, sharing the same sentiments but suddenly, a large jet of water splashed out as the humongous body of Yohr sprang out, making Damien try to gather whatever ethereal energy he could to fight him but the next second, he was shocked to notice something surprising.
