Chapter 365 Barbarians
By the time Kaizen noticed, he was surrounded by two players from the larger group. A barbarian with long blond hair, who swung a sword in his direction without even thinking about what he was doing, and a warrior in armor with a spear. The latter said nothing, just attacked, protecting his fellow barbarian from any attempt at psyker attack.
The warrior is clearly more intelligent. He is also strong. He'll give me trouble.' Kaizen thought.
Psyker knew that he could easily gain the upper hand in this battle by simply using <Intimidate> to make the warrior retreat at the right moment, but he was much lower level than his opponents, so he knew that any moment without using the <Giant's Lungs> ability would make the battle extremely risky.
Meanwhile, the last player in the quartet, a mage in a dark robe, approached Kaizen in an attempt to surprise him and began to cast a spell, moving his hand forward with a symbol. He did not have a grimoire at his side, so Kaizen automatically knew that this man was not a mage, but a witch, so he realized that he was in danger and quickly turned around, pointing one of the faces of the N??ling Falske at the witch.
At that moment, a giant red worm came out of the witch's hand and lunged at Kaizen. But since Kaizen was already defending himself, the worm hit the sword and fell apart easily.
"I missed, cover me!" the wizard said, backing away.
Immediately, the barbarian and the warrior blocked the path between the psyker and the wizard. This coordination and communication made Kaizen realize that these were not normal players, because they were communicating and covering each other. Next, the Warrior tried to attack Kaizen from a distance with his spear, but with breakneck speed, the Psyker practically teleported behind him, allowing him to attack the Void. Kaizen then launched a fireball at the warrior's back, knocking him forward.
At the same time, the samurai continued to fight the remaining barbarian, who looked increasingly tired and desperate. The samurai stood in one place, moving only to change the direction of his blows, and when he did, he delivered a precise blow that cut the red-haired barbarian's axe handle in half, leaving him unarmed. The barbarian tried to retreat, but the samurai followed him, finally knocking him down with a sharp blow from the hilt of his sword.
Kaizen continued to dodge the players' attacks with impressive skill, but it became apparent that he was beginning to tire, and that was the goal of the barbarian, warrior, and mage. Halfway through the battle, they began to hope that they could actually defeat Kaizen, and not just them, but the broadcast chat as well.
[m1steerrr: Wait, is he really going to...?
Lheo_Sell: These guys are definitely not weak. They are fighting Kaizen head on.
Guipp: Is he stupid? Why did he go and fight three guys by himself?
h0ppan: OMEGALUL He will lose.
ShadowBruna: Kaizen must be taking it easy LOL
ORlSSA: He played very badly from the beginning. Why didn't he kill the dwarf, druid and samurai when they didn't even know where he was?
ghozzziiii: HAHAHA!
putrefatos3: Just finish them off, Kaizen!!!]
The barbarian fighting the samurai began to show signs of exhaustion, though he still had a cheerful smile on his face. His fist attacks, now that he no longer had his axe, were slower and clumsier, allowing the samurai to block them with ease. Suddenly, the barbarian stumbled over a loose stone and fell to the ground.
The samurai finally got to his feet and approached him slowly, his katana aimed at the barbarian's neck, and Kaizen noticed the change in the dynamic of the battle out of the corner of his eye.
"You're fast, man!" Kaizen said with a wry smile on his lips as he dodged a series of spear blows from the warrior.
The samurai did not react. Instead, he concentrated and began to channel his spiritual energy. An intense glow surrounded his katana, which began to vibrate with a supernatural power. The other barbarian realized that the samurai was about to finish off his friend and left the siege formation against Kaizen to try to help him.
"No, you idiot!" The warrior told his friend.
Nevertheless, the warrior and the mage still tried to attack Kaizen, but now they were so cautious that they were too hesitant. This was very good for the Psyker, as he now had more freedom, but Kaizen could not let his guard down either, and he knew this, so he continued to dodge the attacks while planning his next move.
The samurai approached the fallen barbarian with his glowing katana and without hesitation delivered a precise blow that instantly decapitated him, making the other barbarian furious that he couldn't get there in time.
"Bastard!!" The barbarian shouted and attacked with his two-handed sword without hesitation.
The last barbarian's scream and the death of the other barbarian drew the attention of the mage and the warrior, and Kaizen took the opportunity to cast <Psychokinesis>, hitting the warrior and the mage with an invisible hand at the same time, knocking them down. They tried to get up, but suddenly felt something pushing them to the ground and preventing them from moving, as if gravity itself had been increased.
"Our brief encounter ends here, folks." He reiterated.
With those words, Kaizen used the N??ling Falske to finish them off with extreme ease.
[Znate: What a crazy fight! Kaizen is a monster!
Fcassavari: Damn!
T0Mzkk: I can't believe he did that! Kaizen is amazing!
cinza_snp: Wow, I'm a fan now. This guy is a genius, just waiting for the right moment to double kill.
m1steerrr: GG Kaizen!]
Contrary to what the onlookers thought, however, the battle was not over, for Kaizen was not the kind of man to forgive a samurai for betraying his own comrades, nor would he let him walk away when all he wanted was more carnage.
