440 Stingy Scrooge
“I wonder if he even knows about the formation of the Universe of Runes. Such an outdated god, I should negotiate the information about that Universe of Runes in exchange for more of his power.” Elliot thought to himself.
“Stop making that greedy look. You’re not getting any more of my power.” Baltamiros grumbled. “You’re already blessed beyond blessed. Wanting more than that would automatically cause a bit of your power to seep out and make its way eventually to Maruk, the God of Greed.”
“Do you know what’s the best thing about being a mortal with power restrictions at every level?” Elliot began with a smile.
“What?” Baltamiros sighed and played along.
“We got creative.” Elliot said simply.
“And… how does that interest me?” Baltamiros drawled.
“The product of my creativity can increase your power by at least a factor of ten.” Elliot said seriously.
“A factor of TEN? HAHA! Don’t make me laugh! Oh wait, you already made me laugh. You dumbass. You may have to get creative, but the product of your lifelong creativity is nothing more than the product of one second of my normal thinking! Anything your puny mind can come up with, I can do the same.” Baltamiros scoffed at Elliot.
“Not like this.” Elliot grinned and remained silent.
“Yeah? Okay fine. Let me humor you for a moment. I’ve been without entertainment for far too long. Having a good laugh at your dumbness is pretty good too.” Baltamiros shook his head with a condescending laugh.
“One more drop of your power.” Elliot stretched out his hand and smiled innocently. “Nothing big, mind you. I am not greedy. Just like the one you gave me previously is good enough.”
“Ha! You’re greedy enough to be Maruk’s firstborn child if that greedy bastard is man enough to make babies!” Baltamiros barked out a laugh. “No thank you. I am not buying.”
“YOU are stingy enough to be the God of Stingy Scrooges. Are you sure you’re what’s it called, God of Ages? What’s your full name? God of Grumpy Aged Stingy Old Men?” Elliot shot back at Baltamiros and managed to somehow press his angry button.
“WHAT? Grumpy aged stingy old men??” Baltamiros sputtered in sheer indignation and anger.
“Yeah. That. You can’t even spare a tiny bit of your power to learn about a method to power yourself up by ten full times? If that’s not stingy, then what is?” Elliot taunted.
Deep in his heart, he was rejoicing.
“This God of Ages is rather gullible and easy to manipulate. It must be an effect of not communicating with anyone for too long a period.” Elliot thought. “It probably won’t be long till he-“
“Fine! Here! Take not one, not two, but THREE drops of my power which I granted you earlier!” Baltamiros shouted and waved his hand at Elliot.
Three shining golden drops of sheer power left the tips of his fingers and drifted towards Elliot’s forehead where they instantly sunk and disappeared.
VROOOO!!
A golden flame aura exploded into life around Elliot as his body exulted in the infusion of such universe shaking power.
“Wuuuaaaaaahhhhh!!” Elliot roared as his entire newly reformed body ignited and surged once more in strength!
The very fabric of his being instantly underwent another qualitative upgrade, and his body’s energy collapsed unto itself, swirling and spinning rapidly for several long seconds until finally, like a bright ray of sunlight piercing through the dark of night, a brand new energy structure emerged and took over his body.
“Hoekkkkk!!” Elliot vomitted out a staggeringly huge amount of blood which burned to nothing as soon as it appeared.
Wooosh!!!!
The flames spread into his body and went on to purify everything that was left after his mini second rebirth.
“Haaaaaaa!!!!” Elliot roared out once more and just like a dragon, an invisible but destructive energy erupted from his mouth and shot out into the sky.
Baltamiros could only look at Elliot with a growing sense of pride and an even faster growing sense of confusion.
That Elliot was a monster of a being was evident, and that was the source of his pride. His liquefied God power was, afterall, the source of Elliot’s powerup. Technically, he could be considered as Elliot’s father.
Not that he wanted to BE Elliot’s father.
“Hell no.” Baltamiros shuddered at the thought of that greedy bastard calling him daddy and stretching out his hands for more liquefied god power.
But that he, as the God of Ages, had no idea what sort of power Elliot wielded and what sort of being he exactly was, was also evident. And that was the source of his confusion.
Just what had he created?
“HAAAAAA!!!” Elliot’s roar intensified.
Kabasshhhh!!!!!
Every single pore on his skin suddenly opened and a beautiful sheen of red suddenly appeared all over his body.
Within moments, the red sheen turned to black, then white, then finally, blue before disappearing without a trace.
And as suddenly as it had started, Elliot’s transformation ended.
With a single thought, Elliot remade his simple black shirt, pants and shoes. His control over nature had reached an extremely high level, and manifesting his energy to create simple matter such as clothes was as easy as flipping his hand.
“That was good.” Elliot nodded at Baltamiros in satisfaction. “I think I have reached the saturation point for your god power. You have to hold back from gifting me more of that until I can train up my body to higher levels.”
Baltamiros snorted in disbelief at the balls on Elliot. He was even at a loss on what to say.
“Hehehe.” Elliot chuckled lightly and flexed his arms, feeling the awesome wonder of having a perfectly soul awakened body enhanced by liquefied God power.
He could feel very instinctively that the potential hidden within his body could very well reach the heavens if unlocked in its entirety!
Godhood was not an impossibility!
But that was a long, long way into the future.
“For now, let me reform my universe of runes.” He thought.
“A deal is a deal. Here, let me teach you everything I know about the Universe of Runes.” Elliot said with a smile and started to work on his body. “Watch closely.”
