Chapter 173 - Hawk! Give Me Two Bio Bombs!
A vast power unlike anything Elliot had felt before began to constrict his body and even his insides. His whirlwind slowed to such an extent that it could barely be called a whirlwind anymore.
The space-lock technology employed by the blue giants were the product of a wild combination between magic and technology. Space energy had been harnessed into a space-lock rune then forcibly sent into stasis within an anti-magic glass sphere which would immediately unleash its full space-locking power upon breaking.
It was a highly dangerous and volatile weapon that could very easily backfire upon the attacker. However, the blue giants managed to use them with deadly efficiency and to great effect!
Before Elliot could even panic, another blue sphere exploded behind him
“DAMN!” Elliot roared. “BREAK FOR ME!”
He stirred all of the Purgatory Fire Energy he had within his body and weaved them all into his Whirlwind of Death.
KA-BOOM!!!!!
Gilgamar shined brightly for a moment before a powerful explosion erupted from Elliot and smashed the blue space energy that was slowly causing him to stop moving.pᴀɴᴅᴀ-ɴᴏᴠᴇʟ.ᴄᴏᴍ
GARTA?!?!
The largest blue giant roared out in shock!
His Space-lock Ammo had never failed to capture all of his targets, not even a high value Emperor level target many years ago. But a mere King level native of a little planet could actually block his Space-lock Ammo encased in Anti-magic shells, and could even break out of not one, not two but THREE activated space-locks?
It was ridiculous! Ridiculous!!
“GARTA YOUR DAMNED MOTHER!” Elliot shouted as he burst out towards the largest blue giant with incredible speed. The blue giants could only see a blur for a second before the largest blue giant’s eyes widened in shock.
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
Elliot was so furious at almost being caught and killed that he unleashed a powerful quadruple slash on the leader and diced his body into four parts! And that was even through the powerful air-based armor which the blue giant leader had kept around him! pᴀɴᴅᴀ ɴoᴠᴇʟ
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The other blue giants fired at him once more, and this time, they cunningly caused their space-lock ammos to explode a short distance away from him. Just out of reach from his sword strikes, but still close enough for the fringes of their space-locks to affect him.
“They’re really good.” Elliot realized as he felt multiple powerful sources of space energy grab him roughly and tried to force him into absolute stillness by force. He could feel their vicious space energy permeating into his body and trying to lock him down even from within him!
And the worst thing was, Elliot had just used most of his Purgatory Fire Energy to break out of the first batch of space-lock ammos! He had very little left in his tank, and that amount was definitely not enough to break out of the new batch of space-lock ammos!
“They’re truly a veteran group, like Khalendros had said. But good or not, veteran or not, they’ll need much more than this to succeed! I may not have enough experience and skills to deal with such a big group with weird gadgets and technology. But even without them, I will still win.”
“BLESSINGS OF THE WOLF GODDESS!” Elliot roared. Immediately, he became immune to magical damage and the space energy within him suddenly became absolutely ineffective.
“FROST DOMAIN! BLADE TORNADO! BLADE TORNADO! BLADE TORNADO!” Elliot spammed his skills like crazy to overload the space around him with all sorts of energy. ρꪖꪕᦔꪖꪕꪫꪣꫀꪶ
Although Elliot did not understand fully how space energy works, he instinctively felt that the more energy he produced, the more that he would be able to resist and possibly even overload the space around him with too much energy.
He was absolutely right.
With so much energy swirling around him, Elliot could feel his body beginning to regain mobility. After a few seconds… CRACK!!
The space around him destabilized for a brief second and then exploded!
Elliot finally fully broke free of the space-locks.
He immediately used charge and burst out of the space-locked area and towards the largest group of blue giants.
“Die!” He snarled in anger and unleashed a series of wild swings infused with the remaining of his Purgatory Fire Energy. .
However, he wasn’t dealing against mindless beasts who would simply charge at him as they ate up his attacks. The blue giants knew that they could not take his attacks and they rapidly retreated in all directions to dodge his attack.
“Damn.” Elliot cursed. He had acted out of anger, and wasted the remaining of his Purgatory Fire Energy.
“HAWK! GIVE ME TWO BIO BOMBS!” Elliot shouted.
[Akcnowledged.]
Immediately, two bio bombs appeared on his left hand.
Elliot knew that with the wary state that the blue giants were in, they would definitely dodge the bio bombs if he lobbed them at that moment. He had to trick them into charging after him and then bomb them when they’re stuck in their forward momentum!
And what better way to do that than… To turn tail and escape?
“Come on… come at me!” Elliot said softly as he stomped his way backwards.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The blue giants refused to take the bait, and instead fired their trumpet rifles once more!
“DAMN IT! WHY THE HECK ARE THEY SO DAMNED COWARDLY!” Elliot shouted as he dashed sharply to the right to avoid their attacks.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
They kept firing at him and not just him, but also at the space around him. Section by section, area by area, the space around Elliot became locked down and impassable. The blue giants were slowly cutting him off from all avenues of escape.
“Sneaky bastards. They sure know how to trap and take down people stronger than them.” Elliot thought to himself. He glanced at the thirty or so blue giants that were still remaining and gazed at the largest group.
Fifteen of them were clustered together. If a bio bomb could explode there…
