Chapter 758: Winner(1)

With a few faction leaders in her camp, the cruel battle for the world began between Elena and the organization’s leader.

Elena knew her weakness, so she didn’t directly challenge the organization leader and stayed away from him. While at the same time, she also needed to secure the peak Level 11 under her control and reduce the number of peak Level 11 under the leader’s control.

As time flew by, the battle between the leader and Elena became more chaotic and cruel.

It wasn’t like a war where every day there were battles between the two opposing camps, but it was random and took meticulous planning for both sides to act.

The leader of the organization was the mightiest in the world, but even he wasn’t able to fend off a group of peak Level 11 coming at him. Since he was also the main factor behind the organization’s camp, he didn’t personally take action against Elena and her camp.

Elena did the same as death would mean all her efforts over these years turning to nothing. Elena wasn’t going to see defeat after coming this far, and she was ready to sacrifice everything. Conquering the world wasn’t only her goal, but it had also become a way for her to channel her grief over losing Clarence.

“Master, we have discovered an enemy camp that holds a group of Level 11 warriors,” An informant announced the good news.

In the hall, there was only a single chair, but the number of people was more than twenty.

Elena sat on the lone chair while she played with the sword with an expressionless face. The remaining people in the hall sat on the ground with pale faces.

The group of people contained the faction leaders as well, but they also felt the same as other Level 11 warriors in the room.

Elena had established her power in the organization ‘Grief’ by terrorizing every other member that became a part of it. So much so that none of the members have dared to smile even once in her presence.

“Where is the camp?” Elena raised her emotionless face and asked the informant in a hoarse voice. After the death of Clarence, her voice had become hoarse as she cried a lot and after stabilizing herself, she stopped speaking.

The informant couldn’t help but tremble as he got stared at by the big boss herself, but he controlled himself as he informed Elena and others about the location of the camp.

Elena had no emotions while she heard the piece of information, but the other faction leaders had their eyes shining since the camp was too significant to miss. It had a chance to inflict serious damage to the organization.

Now that the faction leaders had joined Elena’s camp, they needed to do everything in their power to make her win the top seat. It didn’t matter whether they joined her out of will or fear; what mattered was that they had now become enemies of the organization’s leader.

After the informant stopped speaking, he knelt his head down, waiting for the order to leave. But it never came, and soon the hall was filled with a suffocating silence.

Even the faction leaders felt too tight to breathe at the moment as suddenly Elena started stroking the sharp blade of her sword. As her fingers moved, blood began to flow smoothly along the lines.

As if the sword was alive, not a single drop of blood fell to the ground, but all of it got devoured by the blade.

“Sandall, go to the camp and extinguish lives out of every living thing in that camp.”

The silence in the hall suddenly broke as Elena gave her order.

Sandall was one of the faction leaders in Elena’s camp. He couldn’t help but get surprised after hearing his name.

Until this point, the faction leaders had rarely made moves since every death of the faction leader would produce devastating effects on the camp. Especially on Elena’s side since she had a lower number of peak Level 11 under her control.

Elena’s eyes suddenly turned cold, and beads of sweat began to emerge on Sandall’s head.

“I will do as you command, master,” Sandall hurriedly responded as he didn’t want to face Elena’s torture.

Elena had no change in emotions as she gestured for Sandall to leave for the mission straight away.

“Stand up,” Elena then looked at the informant kneeling and ordered.

The informant stood up as the order stated. For some reason, he felt a chill crawling down his spine as he found Elena directly staring at him with a cold look in her eyes.

The informant didn’t dare to move as the order only asked for him to stand and not leave.

“How did you get this information?” Elena suddenly asked.

The informant’s heart skipped a beat as he understood things weren’t what he had expected after he shared this piece of information with Elena.

The informant wanted to escape, but suddenly a wave of pressure attacked him and bound him to the spot.

“Did you think I wouldn’t know what information is genuine or what information is a trap?” Elena coldly said as she stood up from her chair.

The sword sleeping peacefully after feeding on its master’s blood also woke up as Elena made a gentle vertical slash.

The informant could see his end up close as the invisible slash approached him. But the death never came. Instead, a wave of unbearable pain attacked him as he screamed.

Elena knew the information was fake since she had traveled to the spot once around a few years ago. And to set a camp of the worth that the informant explained would take at least a few decades.

As for why she sent Sandall despite knowing it was a trap: it was because she could sense a feeling of betrayal brewing in the hearts of two faction leaders under her control. Sandall was one, while the other was the one who Elena stared at after killing the informant.

The faction leader understood what Elena’s eyes meant to convey, so he directly knelt down in front of everyone and asked for forgiveness from Elena.
