816 A New Day for the Store(1)
Chapter 816: A New Day for the Store(1)
Aakesh was busy watching over a participant when the system’s voice suddenly appeared in his head, informing him about the approaching sunrise.
Aakesh looked at the screen and then decided to leave since he wasn’t going to get much from the event.
The next moment, Aakesh disappeared from the spot and appeared in the store’s hall.
There was still some time away from sunrise, so Aakesh summoned his room.
Time flew by, and Aakesh came down the stairs since the sun was rising above the city.
As the first ray of light pierced through the wall of darkness in Thorr city, and the cities around it, on the seventeenth street, a store opened its door.
As expected, an empty sight welcomed Aakesh after he opened the store.
Aakesh didn’t mind since it was only earlier days, and these situations would continue for a while.
Aakesh then turned around and went back to his chair, waiting for the first customer of the day to arrive.
A few minutes passed in the blink of an eye. Aakesh could see many people on the street looking at the store, but for some reason, they didn’t approach it and went back to their work after only a single glance.

“How dare you enter the store when master forbade anyone from going there?” On one corner of the seventeenth street, a group of people had surrounded a man.
The man was none other than Favan, the first customer of the store in the Sacred dimension. He was currently injured and bleeding from his head as one of the people surrounding him had pushed his head onto the wall.
The fresh bloodstains on the wall were proof of the attack.
“If you are found entering the store again, the next time, I will let my blade taste your blood,” The man who looked to be the leader of the group threatened Favan and turned around to leave.
The others followed the man and left, but some of them kicked Favan before leaving since the moment of hitting someone with higher cultivation wasn’t a daily event.
Favan, who had been silent all this time, suddenly stood up with a grin on his face.
“If these could stop me from doing what I wanted to do, I will have long become a good man,” Favan mumbled as he looked in the direction the group left.
“Just wait! I will return this hundredfold,” Favan suddenly muttered in hatred as he clenched his hands into a fist.
Favan had learned the store timings from the store owner, so he had left early morning today, but then, he suddenly came across this group of goons.
Favan had been living here for hundreds of years, so he knew the identity of the goon’s boss. It would be a lie if he said he wasn’t terrified of them. But his interest in Panagea was such that he was willing to ignore the fear.
Favan then looked at the pouch tied to his waist. He was fortunate that they only came here to warn him and didn’t steal.
If it was threatening, the boss of the goons could easily handle it with his connections, but if they stole a sum of more than a hundred lesser Sacred stones, the issue would turn too big for even the boss to solve.
The boss was only a peak Divine Transformation level cultivator, and it was just that the man had a Divine Lord father. His father was the same, so the son used his father’s name to create his gang of goons.
As for why the boss was stopping him from entering the store, the man had no interest in knowing. Even if it was something terrible, it had nothing to do with him. Favan only cared about him and his interests, and his best interest was in Panagea, so ignoring the threat, Favan proceeded in the store’s direction.
“Leader, look, the man ignored our warnings,” One of the men in the group of goons suddenly called out to his leader as he noticed Favan walking in the direction of the store.
The leader’s eyes turned cold as he saw someone disregarding his warning. Suddenly, the anger turned into a cruel grin as the man thought of torturing Favan.
“Leader, should we stop him?” One in the group suddenly asked as he saw the grin on his leader’s face. Even he felt chilled by the grin.
Favan and the man both were late Divine Transformation level cultivators, but Favan was clearly weak in battle. Others in the group were either initial or intermediate Divine Transformation, so they looked at their leaders to help them catch him.
“Let him enjoy for one more day,” The leader responded, as he didn’t want to stop Favan.
Only when he entered the store would their boss be angry enough to permiss him to torture Favan. As for the consequences, once the boss allowed it, no one could do anything to him.

As Favan reached the store, all the pain attacking him disappeared. His eyes turned eager as he stepped forward and entered the store.
Aakesh, who had his eyes closed, heard the footsteps, so he opened his eyes. Seeing the man was the same customer as yesterday, Aakesh waited.
Aakesh could see the injury on the man’s head, but since he didn’t care enough to know, he didn’t ask the man.
“Store owner, Panagea for six hours,” Favan requested and took out the required thirty-five lesser Sacred stones from his pouch.
Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, the stones disappeared from the store while Aakesh told the man to enter Panagea.
Favan didn’t control his emotions and rushed toward the portal room.
Aakesh then took a look at the door, and since there seemed no one approaching the store, he closed his eyes, waiting for another customer to come.

As Favan touched the portal, a suction force more mighty than anything appeared and sucked him inside.
The next moment, Favan found himself in the same spot he had left yesterday.
Favan rushed toward his mission sight as wasting any moment was equivalent to half effort, and favan wanted to give his all.
After traveling for a few minutes, Favan reached his destination.
On the outskirts of the town, a breeding farm of beasts existed.
A month earlier, this farm was used to provide meat to the poor lower-level citizens of the town. The level of the beasts bred on this farm varied from ordinary to Level 50.
But then, a month ago, a Level 50 chicken suddenly disappeared from the farm.
The disappearance wasn’t the issue, but its reappearance was. When the chicken returned, a Level 100 chicken and many other beasts also came with it.
The people stationed at the farm varied around Level 70 or 80, so none of them were opponents of the Level 100 chicken.
Since the farm was the sole provider to the lower-level citizens of the town, the sudden appearance of the Level 100 chicken caused a drastic situation.
At first, the citizens didn’t feel much since there were stocks, but yesterday, the wares turned empty.
The citizens of the town were carnivorous. As they were poor, they couldn’t buy meat and were completely dependent upon the daily provision of meat provided by the town administration. Since the wares had no more food left, the citizens had eaten nothing.
The quest wanted Favan to defeat the Level 100 chicken on his own without any external help in a limited set of time.
The citizens could live for three days at most due to hunger, and after that, the situation would turn into a riot.
The town administration would become forced to take action and quell the angry crowd. It would result in thousands of deaths.
Favan needed to kill the Level 100 chicken before the situation turned out like this.
They were refugees from other towns, so the town administration didn’t care about their current situation. The administration thought they had done enough for them by providing them with a free source of food.
Favan was also a Level 100, but his level was locked since he hadn’t completed his first quest.
Favan was sighted by one of the beasts suddenly due to bad luck. As the beast was peeing across one of the trees, it stumbled upon him. It immediately roared without giving any time to Favan.
In no time, Favan got surrounded by several beasts.
Favan’s physical strength was equivalent to a Level 100 adventurer with no extraordinary attributes, while the beasts in front of him varied from Level 30 to Level 70.
Favan’s physical strength easily triumphed over the beasts as he crushed them with punches and kicks.
Beasts below Level 60 died with a single strike, while the strongest beast in the group could only force Favan to punch it twice.
Favan left the scene before more beasts arrived. He was stronger than them, but he didn’t have unlimited stamina.
