829 Return!
Chapter 829: Return!
“It’s great that you asked. I want you to tell Garoun’s father to compensate for what his son did, or he should start counting his last days,” Aakesh expressionlessly told Ricky.
Aakesh didn’t mean what he said since he was never going to attack Garoun’s father for Garoun’s actions. He only said it because it was the easiest way to ask for compensation. Aakesh wasn’t going to waste his time hunting a few underlings of Garoun’s father to show his might.
Since the generals wanted his friendship, they could have it after using their power to bring Aakesh compensation.
Ricky couldn’t help but become dumbfounded when he heard Aakesh’s threatening a Divine Lord level cultivator. At the same time, he also heaved a sigh of relief in his heart since countless of him weren’t able to defeat the weakest Divine Lord. He was also thankful to the fourth general and Frederick since they were the most knowledgeable of the generals present on the street.
“We will tell him,” Ricky didn’t even need to look at the other generals for an answer. Believing in his power, he promised Aakesh.
Aakesh didn’t speak anything in response, but he only nodded his head. He then turned around and left without giving Ricky any chance to speak.
Ricky couldn’t help but look dumbfoundedly at Aakesh’s back as he left in the midst of conversations. He then turned around and looked at the other generals, only to see them sighing with relief.
They felt grateful that the non-demon left before making any serious trouble for them. The pressure they were bearing since learning about the non-demon from Frederick was too much for them to handle despite their high cultivation levels.

Since there was no point in standing there anymore after the general’s promise, Aakesh decided to leave. What he was most worried about was getting forced to use the sole system’s offensive help. But now that the issue was sorted, and he had also killed the plotter, Aakesh left for the store with a smile on his face. After a travel of a few minutes, Aakesh reached the store. Aakesh unlocked the door and entered.
It would take at least a few hours for the news to travel all around the street. The store owners around the store had no idea about what Aakesh had done. They only looked at Aakesh with a mixture of pity and gloating.
Since Aakesh didn’t expect any new customers today after what he had done, he closed his eyes after sitting on his comfortable chair.

“What does the store specialize in?” One of the generals suddenly asked after Aakesh left. They still hadn’t left the scene and began to discuss the non-demon.
Now that Aakesh was no longer here, they talked freely as if all the weight from their shoulders had disappeared.
Except for Frederick, no general on the scene knew about the store. Only after Aakesh told them his reason behind the massacre here did they find that the non-demon managed a store.
Since Frederick was the only one here who had any information about the non-demon from the start, the generals looked at him to know the answer.
Frederick only smiled wryly in response to the stares aimed at him. He honestly told them that he hadn’t been to the non-demon’s store due to his elder’s warning. Like others, Frederick also wanted to stay as far away as possible from the disaster.
“Should we check out the store?” The fifth general to arrive on the scene chimed in. The other generals immediately looked at him as if they were looking at an idiot.
The fifth general did a fake cough, but at the same time, he also added the goal of visiting the store to his mind to do list.
All the other generals also chose to check out the store once, but they decided to do it later, not today or tomorrow.
“What about the compensation from the Divine Lord?” Ricky suddenly spoke. The atmosphere around the general suddenly turned awkward since they were trying to ignore it.
Going to a Divine Lord cultivator and telling him to give compensation to their son’s killer was no less than suicide. None of the generals present on the scene had the guts to do it.
“Since you promised the non-demon, you do it,” The second general replied, and without waiting for Ricky’s response, he turned his face away. Even he knew the reaction he had made was absurd and impossible.
Ricky wanted to respond, but seeing the general’s reaction, no words came out of his mouth. Ricky only dumbfoundedly looked at him.
“I will talk to my elder about it,” Frederick responded since he was the only one in the group here to have a direct connection with a Divine Lord.
Garoun’s father was only an early Divine Lord, but he had been at that stage for several thousand years, so his power was nothing to scoff at. At the same time, Garoun was the only son.
The generals couldn’t help but feel a chill since they had only been focusing on the non-demon from the start. Only now did they focus on the hunted side.
Even if Garoun’s background wasn’t as massive as the non-demon’s but for the general, both parties were the sides they couldn’t even dream of offending.
Even Frederick, who had a direct connection with a Divine Lord, wouldn’t dare to attack Garoun since Garoun’s father was a Divine Lord, not some far relative.

Aakesh was relaxing on his chair, unaware of the struggle between the generals due to his asking for compensation from a Divine Lord.
A few hours after Aakesh returned to the store, the store saw a second shadow. Unfortunately for the store and Aakesh, it was a familiar shadow but not a new one.
Hearing the sound of familiar footsteps, Aakesh opened his eyes and focused on the direction. An injured man approached Aakesh with an enthusiastic expression. It was none other than Favan.
The head injury Favan had received from the goons this morning hadn’t healed, and he got even more injured when Ricky released his pressure fully. It wasn’t any severe injury, but it would still take some time for him to return to perfect shape if no healing medicine was taken.
