841 Close for the Day!
Chapter 841: Close for the Day!
Unaware of what plans Favan was making for his continued sustenance in the store, Aakesh continued relaxing on his chair, and time continued to move.
The portal room suddenly saw the movement as the grayed portal in the center suddenly became a sky filled with stars, and a white light appeared in the room.
When the light disappeared, a silhouette of Garos presented itself. A look of unwillingness marred Garos’ eyes since he wanted to stay there for a longer time.
He had gotten a quest that was proving too much for him. He even faced death today.
Garos never thought he would die and revive. But he still wanted to enter that damned place, as the benefits were too great to care about, even if an actual death was one of the consequences.
Since he wanted to continue, he hurriedly left the portal room and went to Aakesh.
Aakesh, who was relaxing, opened his eyes after sensing the sound of footsteps approaching him.
As soon as Aakesh saw Garos, he knew what he wanted. There was only one reason why customers approached Aakesh after their stay in Panagea was over. The hurried expression in Garos’ eyes seemed to prove Aakesh’s conjecture.
As Aakesh expected, Garos asked for an extension of Panagea’s time. As usual, Aakesh refused with a straight no while at the same time pointing at the no-argument rule on the rule board.
Garos got stumped, as he had no idea what to say after looking at the rule. He didn’t know what the store owner would consider arguments, so he thought letting go of them was the best option. He then unwillingly shoved the thought of entering Panagea today into the deepest corner of his heart.
“Thank you, store owner! I will return tomorrow.”
Garos thanked Aakesh and left the store in a hurry since there was nothing else to do, and he was also feeling guilty about choosing Panagea over his wife at that time.
Garos didn’t spend much time thinking over it since he would have repeated his choice if he were to get into the same problem again.
After Garos returned to his house, he got the shock of his life. Elera had turned several times worse than today’s morning.
When Garos looked at her, he found her to be awake. She also looked at him after she heard him.
A wave of relief passed through her heart as she fell unconscious the next moment. She had been forcing herself to stay awake for the entire day. She wanted to see the face of her husband. Now that she saw it, all the pain she had been forcing into her heart attacked her at once.
Garos felt a pang in his heart as he saw Elera in such a condition. The happy mood he had been carrying with him on his journey quickly turned to sadness.
He first apologized to Elera for making her worry since he had a sense of what had transpired here.
He then went to Elera, gave her a light kiss on the lips, and then whispered about the pill into her ears. Garos then sat with Elera for around an hour.
Since his shoulders carried a large debt of Sacred stones, he left her house after giving another kiss to an unconscious Elera, this time on her forehead.

Favan had an excited mood as he came down to the exit of the building. His mother was following him. She had a mixture of positive and negative expressions.
“Next time, I will return, and you will be able to have a button,” Garos stated as he took one last look at his mother.
The mother nodded, not worrying about lies in her son’s words since Favan had taken an oath. If he failed to stand by his words, crippling of his cultivation would be the least harsh punishment. As a mother, she felt uncomfortable forcing her son to take an oath like this, but the amount of money he was borrowing from her made her see sense.
Because Favan’s mother couldn’t leave the building without the button, he promised to buy one for her. To do that, she needed to loan him her savings.
The savings accumulated by her parents in these years were more than enough to let Favan not worry about money for a few years.
Since Favan’s mother was a member of the organization, she had two choices to get the button. First, make contributions large enough to get promoted and become a mid-tier member. She would then automatically get the button. Second, she could buy it.
The button cost seven hundred and fifty ordinary Sacred stones, while the mother only had savings of around fifteen ordinary Sacred stones after working for several millennia. Earning the amount was going to be a huge task. The mother would not have acquired the amount in her lifetime if she didn’t have immortality.
Using her mother’s inability to make large contributions and the lack of her savings, Favan decided to risk everything on his loan.
Favan could feel that Panagea was going to be a game changer for his destiny, and life was the only valuable thing he had that was worth risking.
Favan then used the button again and left the same way he had entered. The mother didn’t leave right away but looked at the blurry silhouette of her son through the barrier.
Even though she didn’t like Favan, she was still his mother. She only hoped that Favan wouldn’t die pursuing whatever he was seeking.
A few seconds later, when the blurry silhouette entirely disappeared, she also turned around and returned to her quarters.
Since the store had finally set its foot in the Sacred dimension, it was poised to create a sea of blood and storm in the lives of the inhabitants. Many destinies were set to be changed, while many fortunate events were bound to become nothing but tragedies.
It was all set for the future, not today. The store was empty except for Aakesh’s presence in the present scene.
The time continued to fly as hour after hour passed.
When only around an hour remained before sunset, Lily exited Panagea and returned to the store.
The entire day, up until the sun’s setting, the store didn’t see a second new customer.
