951 A New Day for the Store(2)
Chapter 951: A New Day for the Store(2)
Tap! Tap! Tap!
Aakesh was relaxing on his chair when the first group of customers left for Panagea. Aakesh suddenly heard the sound of footsteps coming from the door, so he opened his eyes and turned in that direction.
A familiar face greeted his sight; it was Alric, Alfred’s son. Since the day Alfred and Asher came to the store for the first time, Alric hadn’t come to the store as well.
Today was his entry after days in the store. Alric’s face looked slightly pale as if he hadn’t slept for several days.
Alric also understood the value of the store and the disaster it might bring to Thorr City after his conversation with his father. So before leaving for the Kingdom, Alfred ordered Alric not to return to the store until he returned from there.
Alric couldn’t disregard his father’s words as he was not only his father but also the leader of Thorrons, so despite not wanting to, Alric didn’t come to the store.
Only yesterday did his father return with good news, so Alric was finally free to visit the store again.
As for why Alric hadn’t slept these past days, he was giving all his time to study the pills bought from the store. No matter how hard or what he tried, whenever Alric tried to unravel the pill, he couldn’t stop it from turning into useless powder.
Alric wasn’t one to give up, so he had been spending all his time on this. The number of failures grew while the number of samples decreased, so now that he was free to return to the store, he rushed back.
“Hello, store owner!” Alric greeted Aakesh with weakness evident in his voice.
“I want all pills,” Alric asked since he wanted to sleep after returning. Now that his source of samples was stable, he didn’t need to worry about the lack of them.
“Don’t you want to know about the Higher level pills?”
Alric’s hands suddenly froze after he heard Aakesh’s question. Out of nowhere, energy filled his body as his eyes brightened, and he looked at the pill counter.
The brightness in his eyes grew even further after seeing the second row at the counter.
pAnD a(-)n0ve1.com “Please introduce the pills, store owner!” Alric requested Aakesh, forgetting about his sleep.
Aakesh had asked for this reaction, so now that he had gotten it, Aakesh began introducing the pills to Alric.
“(1.) Third-grade higher Body Healing Pill: The pill can heal minor injuries up to peak Divine Lord, while it will not affect cultivators exceeding that level. It costs one ordinary Sacred stone.
Second-grade higher Body Healing Pill: the pill can heal minor injuries up to intermediate True God. It costs ten ordinary Sacred stones.
First-grade higher Body Healing Pill: the pill can heal minor injuries for late and peak True Gods. It costs twenty-five ordinary Sacred stones…,”
Aakesh soon introduced all ten Higher level pills and their grades to Aakesh with their effects.
A mixture of expressions would appear on Alric’s face after hearing every pill introduction.
When Aakesh concluded, there was a mixture of disappointment and excitement covering his face: excited since he would get to check Higher level pills, but disappointed because he wouldn’t be able to afford many pills.
Alric then fell into a conundrum as to what pills to buy since he couldn’t exhaust all his savings here. His miserly father would never help him, so he needed to be frugal and extravagant at the same time.
“Store owner, give me one Third-grade higher Body Healing Pill, Third-grade higher Mental Healing Pill, Third-grade higher Energy Meditation Pill, and three pills each of all Lesser level pills,” Alric made his decision after a while and requested Aakesh.
“You need to pay seven ordinary Sacred stones and two thousand twenty-five lesser Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly told him the price of the pills.
Alric had already taken out the stones from his space ring and pushed them toward Aakesh.
Aakesh waved his hands, and the next moment, the stones disappeared from the store and appeared in the system’s space. After Aakesh got the alert that the payment was correct, he pushed all the pills toward Alric. He could now store the pills in his space ring.
After buying the pills, Alric didn’t stay in the store for long and left. Aakesh closed his eyes and started another of his relaxation sessions.
Only a few minutes had passed after Alric’s departure when Aakesh heard the sound of footsteps coming from outside the store.
Aakesh opened his eyes and turned around; a group of unfamiliar faces welcomed his sight.
Aakesh waited for the people to enter, but they suddenly stopped at the door and began discussing on their own. The barrier didn’t stop Aakesh from hearing or seeing what was going on outside, so the content of their conversations came to his ears.

“Is this the store?” The most muscular man in the group asked his friend.
They were a vagrant group of cultivators that sustained their lifestyle and cultivation by hunting wild beasts or other things. The group wasn’t solely made up of Thorrons, but there were only two Thorrons in the group. There were three Corrons as well, and the group leader was not from any of the five Vurron species but rather from another Demon group.
If Favan was here, he would have recognized one of the two Thorrons in the group.
“That’s what people tell me,” Gerard responded with clenched teeth.
One of the two Thorrons in the group was Gerard, who also happened to be the one Favan would recognize. The group also stopped here for Gerard.
It had been several years since Gerard met his younger brother, so he requested for the leader to come to the city. But after coming here, Gerard found that his brother was no more.
Gerard would have accepted his brother’s death if not for finding out that he was brutally killed by a non-demon in daylight in the presence of hundreds of Thorrons.
Now Gerard wanted revenge, and since Gerard had been part of the team for several centuries, the team leader accepted Gerard’s plea.
A smile spread across the leader’s face as he nodded and gestured for Gerard to enter the store.
