Chapter 124: Territories
After the group of Pallas left, only Pento and Aakesh were present in the store.
Pento then looked at Aakesh and asked, "Senior, how do I start on the path of the king in the Panagea?"
After asking the question, he nervously looked at the store owner, waiting for his answer.
"Like you become a king in the real world. Go and conquer the land you want to rule," Aakesh expressionlessly responded.
"Senior, I know that. But, how do I conquer the land by only being Level 1?" Pento asked. "Only the town head of the Gandoline is Level 50. If I want to defeat a king of even a small Kingdom, wouldn't that mean I at least need to reach Level 500?"
"Yes, you need to reach at least Level 500 if you want to defeat even the weakest king," Aakesh nodded and responded.
"Senior, I don't have that much time. It would take decades if not centuries for me to reach Level 500 after seeing the difficulty of the quests," Pento said with a wry smile on his face.
He decided to enter Panagea because he wanted to become a king in the real world, and he didn't have decades worth of time to spend in Panagea. Punta wouldn't wait for that amount of time to choose his heir for the throne.
The families of the Bisan Kingdom had already started throwing their support behind princes after Punta announced the selection of the new king.
He had only gotten support from one family, and that too was Bislo's family. The only way for him to increase his influence in the Kingdom was if he had a Kingdom in Panagea where he could grow his guards stronger without the fear of death.
His guards could grow powerful even if he didn't have a Kingdom in his name in Panagea, but having a Kingdom granted him unlimited resources that could increase their growing speed by several folds.
"With your talent in combat, it would at least take centuries for you to reach that level," Aakesh commented with a flat face.
A dumbfounded and hurt expression appeared on Pento's face at the same time after hearing Aakesh's taunt.
"You can join your friends in Panagea. Your problem will get solved on the event day," Aakesh suddenly commented.
A surprised expression appeared on Pento's face after hearing Aakesh. "Senior, would you help me reach Level 500?" Pento asked as the first thought that came to his mind was that Aakesh would help him.
Aakesh only took a glance at Pento after this and closed his eyes.
Pento coughed to clear the awkwardness and the next moment left for the portal room.
"Hey, system, can I give territories in the Panagea as rewards to the participants of the events?" Aakesh asked the system in his head.
[Yes, Host, but the quests for territory winners would get tougher as they would need to defend themselves on a regular basis.]
The system responded in its emotionless and mechanical voice. "What's the difficulty of the quests got to do with me? If they want to continue to be king in a world like Panagea, they need to work hard," Aakesh said.
He had decided to give territories as a reward to the top three of an event he had planned after listening to Pento. This way, a new class of adventurer kings would appear in the Panagea, making it more fun.
If he let it happen naturally, high-level power levelers like George would reach that level far earlier when compared with people like Punta and Pento, which in turn would make Panagea the same place as the actual world.
Around an hour had passed after Pento entered Panagea. Aakesh was sitting on his chair while his eyes were closed when he heard the sound of the footsteps.
He opened his eyes and saw Maria entering the store in the same cloth she had been wearing for the past two days.
Maria's face turned red when she saw Aakesh looking at her after she entered the store. The next moment, a hint of disappointment also appeared on her face as he took his eyes off her right away.
"Hello, senior!" She greeted Aakesh with awkwardness evident on her face.
Aakesh nodded in response to her greetings and closed his eyes since she already had a card on her.
A wry smile appeared on Maria's face, seeing Aakesh's actions. The next moment, she took a deep breath and proceeded toward the portal room.
She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw one virtual portal not taken. She took a step forward and disappeared into the portal. The next moment, she appeared in the town Atley in Panagea.
The raid of Indotars was coming to an end, and she was only ten rescues away from completing her quests.
After appearing in Panagea, she directly rushed to one of the Indotar's camps. When she reached there, she found that there were already two raiders present in the camp, while four naked children Vehivavy were lying in one corner of the tent, looking at the raiders with fear in their eyes.
"Awa tare tur!" One of the raiders commented while looking at one child. Lust was clearly evident in his eyes while he couldn't help but lick his lips, seeing the fearful expressions on the face of the child.
Since Maria couldn't understand the language of the raiders, she didn't know what he said. The next moment she made a sound that made both the raiders focus on her instead of the children.
A seductive smile appeared on Maria's face as she gestured the raiders to come at her while her eyes showed lust.
"Tare yufta ghaw," One raider looked at the other raider and said. The other raider smiled in response and nodded.
Both the raiders then focused on Maria as they gestured for her to come at their private parts. Maria gestured the same in response that made both the raiders rush at her with excited expressions.
One of the raiders reached in front of her. The next moment, a glint passed through her eyes as her smile turned more seductive. The raider tried to grab her like an animal while the other rushed at her.
The next moment, she bent down and extended her hands, with their direction being the penis of the raider, but at the last moment, they changed their direction and instead went for the knife they carried with them.
Before the raider could understand what happened, she slit open his gut using his knife.
Before the raider could scream, the other raider reached Maria. A shocked expression filled with anger appeared on his face, seeing the scene in front of him. The next moment, he tried to take out his knife, but a flash passed as half of his hand flew the next moment.
The next moment, two painful screams echoed in the tent. Then, another flash passed as both the screams stopped since Maria slit open both of their throats.
She then looked at the children crying with fear, and a gentle smile appeared on her face.
"Let's go," She smilingly told the children. Because she spawned in the town that only consisted of Vehivavy, she was automatically able to learn their language and could easily communicate with them.
The four Vehivavy children wiped their tears after hearing Maria since they knew she was an Adventurer.
Maria then hurriedly left the tent. Other raiders would be coming out after hearing the painful screams of one of them.
She was now only six rescues away from completing the quest.
